Sean, the energetic, engaging fast-paced caring server really made us feel cared for! Excellent fish & chips; great barista drinks and the strudel is worth breaking free of your diet. The whole team seems to appreciate one another and though there are, at times, waves after waves coming through the door, starting off anxiously, it is excitement and satisfaction that reign.

Food was great, booth seats not exactly made for the larger framed. The staff were also excellent.

This place is a hidden gem 😋 although its small, we go often and never a complaint. The girls are so friendly, service is fab and it's always busy. That tells ya something! They also do take out 😁

Absolutely excellent as usual. Great friendly atmosphere 👌 staff are attentive pleasant and friendly the food is 1st class I normally go for the "specials" on tbe board but plumped for the XL Fry. Magnificent!! Highly recommended cafe 👌

Hands down the best cafe for value and enjoyment ever

Best fry-up ive ever had, food was served in no time and eaten just as quick. Definitely a hidden gem in Bangor. Compliments to the cooks and servers, 5☆. Another week, another delicious fry up at Brambles. Busy as always which is a good sign for any business, keep up the great work girls and see ya soon.

What a fantastic place. Busy, great atmosphere, perfect for a bit of people watching while enjoying a nice breakfast. Freshly cooked quality food, nice staff. Worth a visit for a good feed.

Food was nice and fresh. Staff were very friendly and helpful 🙂, could do with a lick of 🎨 paint. Over all 8/10

The two ladies were lovely, very friendly service! I had a chicken, bacon and cheese panini which was delicious! I didn’t realise they were closing soon and I had forgotten to lift money out, so they were lovely about me having to go and get cash, overall I would definitely recommend and return to this cosy establishment :)

Recently discovered this place, my new favourite cafe for lunch. Belly buster is accurately named, proper homemade chips, stew is delicious. Prices are very good, food is top quality and staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this little hidden gem

Friendly place, good food and great value

In for a breakfast with family I had a lovely fry the belly buster really is a belly buster it's a big feed. My misses had a soda with sausage and bacon she says it was lovely very reasonably priced.

This Cafe offers a warm welcome with the atmosphere of good craic and comfortable seating. The staff are very helpful and facilitate dietary requirements for all customers. For a quick snack or the best fry in mort down can't beat Brambles

What a great little cafe. Food freshly cooked, lovely friendly staff and really well priced. You can tell they're popular as they know a lot of customers by their first name and quite a few appreciative pensioners in at lunch times. Not the easiest to find as its tucked in a little corner of an industrial estate but well worth seeking out. From what I've tried so far the burger with cheese and bacon is fantastic, Perfectly toasted buns and grated cheese (no limp square fake cheese here!) and proper chips. Breakfasts are hearty too and nothing seems too much trouble for the staff. *****

There are many reasons why my friends and I return to Brambles as often as we can. Beginning with the staffs genuine welcome being happy to see us and interested in our days activity. The standard of the food is first class and beautifully presented. Duri g this pandemic we find Brambles being open brings a sence of normality in a hectic time. We can't wait to normality returns to sit in a traditional welcoming cafe having genuinely great staff who care about your e xperience. Had an Ulster fry soda bread, potato bread, eggs, bacon, sausages and beans 1st class. Staff very friendly and attentive and very quick service. Excellent would recommend.

This was our first visit and we will be back very friendly staff and great food at very reasonable prices and even a coffee top up which is nice to see. Definitely recommend the Brambles Fry.

When you have to start extra early it's nice to know there's a place your going too that will be open to serve you. Nice wee cafe situated in the North Down Development Organisation Businesss Park that is open 7am every weekday for the early crowd. Don't be expecting fancy smancy food though, this place does the traditional brakfast around these parts. A big fry up, toast & poached eggs or even porridge oats if you can't handle an early fry. Very nice set up for a small cafe with free WI-FI available and pictures of some of Northern Ireland's most famous stars (George Best, Alex Higgins, etc..). If you are in Bangor early then I can think of no better place to come for a sit down breakfast or even takeaway.

bot a bad place nothing fancy, food was average and reasonable we took our grandson with us he ate more or less of my plate as he wouldn't eat a whole meal, but we would go back

I love calling in to Brambles,. Mona (the owner) always has a good chat with her customer, everything is freshly cooked while you wait, the staff are very helpful, I hadn't been in in two months. When I walked in Mona said to me "I have the roast beef if you want a special"? I was delighted. I'd recommend it to anyone. Lovely long soft Bun with lashings of fresh salads and mayo with 3 hefty slices of roast beef,. The chips are lovely. Proper potatoes and just like old school spuds ;) the cafe is far better than most "greasy spoon" cafes in the vicinity. Folks try it. Great for a hearty fry for breakfast or a nice lunch as I had. 5 stars. *****

This Cafe is a great place for breakfast. Everything is freshly cooked and unlike other Cafes in the area it’s properly cooked no under cooked eggs or bread here. The last time we went to the Pitstop the fry was inedible, and expensive, so I’m glad we found Brambles. The only downside is it needs to move to larger premises.

Brambles does the best ULSTER fry and mug of tea . Chips are home made. Nothing Fancy basics are brilliant . So if you fancy a fry tea and A read of the paper . This is the spot ..

Had breakfast scrambled eggs,tomato,bacon and toast. The place is very clean and the staff are friendly and check if everything is alright.They also offer top ups for tea and coffee. Prices are very reasonable would recommend.

Had breakfast here and couldn't fault it at all.two first class frys freshly cooked .served up by two friendly ladies.cheaper than most other cafes and they certainty don't skimp on portions.give it a try.

Lovely fresh cooked food they could fill a 100 seater and really put the pitts stop to shame !!! 10 out of 10 all day long
