Mientras esperaba que mi esposa tuviera una cita cerca, entré por primera vez en el café y me sorprendí muy gratamente. Solo tomé una taza de té, pero sin duda me sentí tentado por los hermosos pasteles y salazones que se exhiben. Servicio amable y eficiente y decoración encantadora con mesas de madera. Sin duda volveré de nuevo en algún momento en el futuro cercano para probar la comida de aspecto encantador

I had a quick break from work and wanted to sit in the sunshine whilst I had one of your coffees. The lady that initially served me with red hair was absolutely lovely. Whilst i was on my 20 minute break i was shouted at by another lady for simultaneously eating my packed lunch with my coffee. I can't completely understand this having worked at a cafe previously for over a year. Felt very sad afterwards- would've appreciated a nice tone :(

Estábamos celebrando un cumpleaños especial así que reservamos el té de la tarde para 27 personas, incluidos adultos, niños y varias personas con alergias y todos fueron atendidos sin ningún problema. Fiona era brillante en la comunicación a la derecha a través de la reserva y el día en que todo estaba delicioso, el café estaba muy bien configurado y nada era demasiado problema para ella. Recomendaría encarecidamente usar Love to eat para una función privada y sin duda volveremos de nuevo en el futuro.

Shocked too see they allow people to vape in the pub! This was infront of the staff as well so they obviously don’t care. If the GreenKing care I have videos of them doing this in the pub with all the staff. I’m sure EHO would love to be made aware this is happening around food.

Friendly staff, a full and bustling pub. We ordered our drinks and food via the app. The food didn’t disappointed. It’s lovely to see the pub so full

I was a regular customer to TESCO ASKHAM BAR, YORK until recently when I tried to return a dress which I’d brought for my 4yr old daughter. The staff member at the customer services desk told me I could not return it because I had removed the tags (even though I had the receipt and it was very clear from the condition that the item had not been worn). I asked to speak to a manager and he reiterated the same and said it was company policy. I could not believe what I was hearing. The dress was only £7, which is nothing to Tesco and the amount of profit it makes. Up until this point, I believed that Tesco was a reputable store which put customers first but clearly I was wrong. The store told me to call customer services if I was unhappy, which I did. The call centre advisor logged my complaint and said they had sent it through to the store and they would call me back. It’s now approximately 6-8 weeks since I complained and I’ve not received an acknowledgment or a call back from the store. A friend advised me to try returning the item to another store, which I did. I took it to the Tesco store in Clifton Moor, York. The staff member at the customer service desk accepted my return no issues at all. It was a completely different experience to what I had experienced at Tesco ASKHAM BAR. She checked my receipt and scanned my ClubCard and verified my purchase through my purchase history on my ClubCard, as it was clear to her the dress had not been worn and it was in a saleable condition. I have still not received a response from my complaint logged with TESCO ASKHAM BAR, YORK.
