I recommend the french toast. It had white chocolate on it with raspberries, absolutely delish! Although it was light, it was filling too

The cakes here are excellent and the selection is constantly changing so there’s always something new to try. We try to visit at least once a week and we’ve yet to be disappointed. Highly recommend. Also great for breakfasts

This morning I was due to visit with 2 friends at 10am. I have a puppy so I tried to call from 9am at opening up to 9.45am before I set off and no answer. I left a message but no reply. I checked trip advisor and it said dog friendly as are most places now. When I arrived my friends were sat inside and waiting for drinks. I asked if I was OK to bring dog in they said only outside. Well it's February and 5 degrees. I mentioned I had called and Trip Advisor said dog friendly but all I got was yes just outside. I said well it needs to be made clear. What upset me the most was not that I had to leave but, not one member of staff came out to me to apologise for not answering phone or that Trip Advisor was misleading. Totally ignored and humillillating. My friend came out to hold the dog whilst I went in to say hello to my other friend and still nothing from staff 🙃. Totally disappointed 😞

We have not enjoyed our meal out, when we arrived it wasn’t busy at all so we ordered straight away. Around half an hour after ordering our starters arrived, we said to the waitress that we still haven’t got our drinks and that we had ordered them and she was sarcastic and just said yeah. Finally after we had eaten our starters our drinks arrived. Just over an hour after arriving we got our food, I understand the food needs to be cooked and takes time but it wasn’t busy at all. The food wasn’t great, the mac n cheese was plain and tasted of nothing. While we were eating we all felt uncomfortable as the bar and FOH staff were all stood looking at us and talking to each other. When most of us had finished eating the waitress came and took away the plates but one person was still eating so felt rushed and uncomfortable. We’ve been to the masons a few times and always thought it was nice but today has put us off we didn’t have a pleasant time and the food was crap.

This place is a good friendly environment and staff are lovely and are always smiley and welcoming. This place is very good for causal drinks and do lots of fun entertainment

Came and ate here on Saturday 2nd of February with my partner and was shocked how bad the service was, from our waitress who l can only hope is new and still learning. I wanted to leave after how rude she was to us and only stayed because my partner had been looking forward to going here. In the end we both wished we had gone somewhere else, as the food was just okay. Although it arrived promptly, it was worryingly room temperature at best and my partner who had ordered the brisket fries was annoyed to discover them covered in cajun spices ( no mention of it on the menu ) and couldn't eat them. On the plus side l really enjoyed them and they were easily the best part of the meal. Certainly won't be going back and won't be recommending to friends.

Ordered bacon and pepperoni pizza from bec in the kitchen really enjoyed it , good value and very tasty , 🍕😋🤤
