Thankyou today for making a very special day so wonderful My beautiful Mother and Father in laws 65 th wedding anniversary. John and all team fantastic nothing too much trouble Chefs also most important of all us beautiful food so tasty presentation etc etc. Such a wonderful ambience so many wonderful memories. So much more say but mainly a massive thankyou all think my beautiful sister in law already rang re a xmas celebration I care worker was grateful get time off with all family. To the owners of Staveley Arms many thanks for being so accommodating and to the managers and staff team and the main stars the chefs cannot thank you enough they are all a real credit to you thanks for a wonderful memory. First visit. An historic, Victorian walled garden which was once part of the Bishop’s garden, now the area is used as a charity supporting adults and young people with learning disabilities. The whole site is lovely and well maintained. Healthy looking plants for sale, cafe and shop, children’s play area and a woodland walk as well as an apple orchard. 🍏💚

Amazing ice cream. Always plenty of staff working and all very nice and pleasant. Place is very clean and tidy. Plenty of inside and outside seating. Also nice big car park. Ice cream portions are very generous ( no tiny scoops here brymor!! ) and good choice of flavours which changes regularly. Dad and I stopped for lunch today. They only have sandwiches and toastie, sausage rolls and cakes We had toasties and they were the best toasties we have had. Loaded with ham and cheese and mine with cheese and onion. Nicely presented with a lovely fresh side salad and coleslaw. 2 toastie and 2 hot drinks for under £20.00. The hot chocolate was nice and hot and not too sweet. I highly recommend going here for an ice cream or a toastie.
