Amazing ice cream. Always plenty of staff working and all very nice and pleasant. Place is very clean and tidy. Plenty of inside and outside seating. Also nice big car park. Ice cream portions are very generous ( no tiny scoops here brymor!! ) and good choice of flavours which changes regularly. Dad and I stopped for lunch today. They only have sandwiches and toastie, sausage rolls and cakes We had toasties and they were the best toasties we have had. Loaded with ham and cheese and mine with cheese and onion. Nicely presented with a lovely fresh side salad and coleslaw. 2 toastie and 2 hot drinks for under £20.00. The hot chocolate was nice and hot and not too sweet. I highly recommend going here for an ice cream or a toastie.

Not suitable for coeliacs as ordinary cones are filled above the different ice cream tubs leading to significant risk of cross contamination even though gluten free cones are available.

Visited for ice cream on recommendation Didn't get to see the restaurant/café as had a dog. Dogs not allowed inside. Surprising given most eateries do allow them. Disappointed that there wasn't any covered facility outside. Eating ice cream in the car didn't give us any idea how to review the facilities! Ice cream was delicious anyways. Worth a visit on a sunny day.

Something for everyone here! We had sandwiches, toasties , cake and ice cream!! Compliments all round, everything was very fresh and delicious, reasonably priced, a lovely environment and nice friendly staff!! Shame some of us live to far away to pop back to sample some more of the lovely things on offer!! Great to catch up with a lovely old friend too, which made our trip even more worthwhile! Would highly recommend a visit, and can guarantee you will want to return for more!

I called into G & T’s Ice Cream Parlour whilst in the area. We parked in the overflow carpark and there were some farm animals on display. Colourful building with lots of outdoor seating available. There was a great selection of ice cream flavours on offer which all looked delicious. My and my family all had different flavours which we all enjoyed. A great place to call into whilst passing and I would happily visit again.

Large selection of ices to eat here or take home. Serves tea coffee milkshakes etc as well. Very friendly and efficient staff. Prices very reasonable. Will go again.

Lovely fresh sandwiches. Unfortunately cafe not dog friendly and January is not the best time of year to sit outside. I think the cafe is missing out on dog owner trade as cafe perfectly set out for dogs with suitable floor and well spaced tables. We would have sat in for lunch and desert. Can not fault the sandwiches and service.

I have never felt so uncomfortable in a cafe as I did in this one they basically couldn’t wait to get rid of us so they could close it was 2.30 their closing time was 4.30. Paid £15 to be sat in there for 10 mins. Will not be returning will stick to going to Brymore their staff know how to look after their customers

My wife randomly saw an advert on Facebook for this place and saw they did special ice cream flavour for Christmas that you could pick up.I emailed to ask if they had my chosen flavour in stock and then went to collect them.Well organised shop with separate doors for in and out with arrows on the floor. Most important though was the ice cream.I got a 500ml tub of pear almond frangipane and also a tub of Apple pear and cinnamon. Both ice creams were amazing. Very soft and creamy with bits of fruit and a lovely flavour.I'll definitely be getting some more ice cream for next Christmas. And hopefully sometime this year will visit for some walking followed by a scoop of their amazing ice cream!

The two ladies running the cafe were very unfriendly. The weather was cold but no indoor seating was possible. The cafe clearly had the furniture and the space but claimed they were not "ready" yet. Other cafes in the area have managed to offer indoor seating. Coffee/tea was served in disposable cups which were only two thirds full. Got the feeling we were not really welcome.

Came for the ice cream after a trip to fountain abbey. Decided on a sausage roll at the till as they looked really good. Best I’ve ever had so went back and bought more and also scotch eggs. We had spent the morning at Brimham Rocks and when googling places near by for food we saw this place.. From pictures on the website it looked dog friendly. On arrival there was one table sat outside. We walked in, there were no customers inside but 2 staff behind the counter who ignored us. We stood awkwardly for a moment then I asked politely with a smile 'are dogs allowed inside?' before I'd barely finished my sentance the sour faced women replied 'no sorry' and turned away..Don't work in customer service if you can't be polite :)We went to a very accommodating pub down the road instead.

We're locals, so maybe we're a little biased in having such wonderful ice creams almost on our doorstep. The bright, 'Tour de Yorkshire' decorated walls make it hard to miss although it is on a bit of a bend and junction so take care if you really are stopping on impulse.Always a great selection of ice creams and different sized / flavoured cones to be found, with seating inside and picnic benches outside. There is a car park adjacent, though it can get busy on sunny afternoons, obviously! We love the staff, always friendly and happy to offer sample tastes (not everything, of course, else they'd be out of business)! And you can take tubs home too! Very highly recommend.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good but we choose to sit inside and found it lacked atmosphere, There was a lot of fly's and wasps inside (which they cannot help) but the doors out to the seating area were shut and in front of one of the doors were all the cushions piled up that should have been on the seats outside, if the doors had been opened then the fly's would have moved on and not have been trapped round eaters....will not rush back.

Ice cream was ok but absolutely nothing to entertain the kids. Just as we were commenting on this the kids began messing around and bumping down onto the chairs as they made a silly noise when they did. We told the kids to calm down and stop and just as we did one of the members of staff came over and told us to tell them to stop in a very abrupt and unfriendly manner to which we replied that we just had and he stalked off. Unfortunately one of the three year olds with our group didn't get the message and did one more bounce. Her mother immediately got up to get her and remove her from the situation when a different member of staff rushed over eager to tell us to control our children again. Obviously, I accept that our children were being a little rambunctious, like normal kids are when they're with their friends. However, both sets of parents were sorting the situation and felt everything was dealt with extremely poorly on the part of the staff. We were very much made to feel like we were unwelcome and there was little attempt at understanding or really much concept of customer service. They made it very clear they didn't want us there with lively children and made us feel undermined and extremely incompetent to say the least. So in short, would definitely not recommend to families and groups with children. I will be telling others to avoid like the plague! Go to Birchfield Ice Cream Farm instead.Such a shame as it seemed so promising!

After a day out with the family (two couple and five kids all in all) we decided to stop for some ice cream. With five excited kids we knew we wouldn’t be the most quiet customers but did keep reminding the kids to behave themselves as needed. At one point the kids were bouncing on their chairs which made a funny sound as a result. We quickly told the kids to stop but apparently not fast enough because AFTER they had stopped and while we were explaining to the kids why that was not allowed a rather grim faced member of staff coldly told us “tell your kids to stop that!”. The youngest child (my 3 year old daughter) went back to the chairs and started bouncing again (not big enough to make any noise at all or cause any sort of damage). I immediately stood up and got her off the chair and started to head towards the front door as I had told my children would happen if they started bouncing again. I was then stopped by ANOTHER grim faced member of staff telling me to not let the kids bounce on the chairs. I was already half way to the front door with my 3 year old who was the only child who kept bouncing on the chairs, which lasted all of 5 seconds!! I am appalled at how the staff handled the situation, no courtesy at all!! We were literally in the middle of parenting a group of 3-10 year olds in what I thought was supposed to be a family friendly café!! Extremely rude staff. Not a family friendly place!!

After a brief discussion, my husband decided we should maybe do an about turn and have a look at the menu on offer. What a delightful place, first impression on entering was how light and airy the place is and spotlessly clean with comfortable-looking furniture. The menu isn't large but does offer a choice of hot or cold sandwiches among other items. My husband had a steak and onion sandwich and I opted for the local sausage - both very tasty we agreed Coffee was lovely - no bitterness.A dessert had to be tried, banoffee sundae - naughty but very nice, the ice cream is so creamy. We will definitely call again. Well done to the two young ladies for their food presentation and courteous service.

We're lucky to have a fair few ice cream outlets near us. This one is a funny one for me. It probably has the best tasting ice cream, with a great choice of flavours. However, the experience - and I've been there a few times - has been marred by the staff being a little unfriendly, almost to the extent that you're an inconvenience being a customer.I've marked it 4-stars due to the quality of the ice cream itself; they get that bit right (which must surely be the most difficult bit!) but customer service isn't top notch. If they get that right, it will be a superb experience.

My hubby and I called in here for a late lunch. We weren't expecting much as it said ice cream parlour but we got inside and there was a large dining area. We ordered steak lettuce and onion sandwiches which were absolutely gorgeous, I think it was the nicest sandwich I've ever had. Followed by scone with jam and cream and the scone was delicious, homemade and very fresh. So glad we called in!

Time to call in for a toastie which was totally home made and delicious, then on to the ice-cream. Flavours which send your taste buds into a spin. This is a regular call and will continue.

We all loved our ice creams in this brightly coloured building. We bought our cornets and sat outside in the sun. The chocolate/orange was particularly delicious, and there was a lovely cherry one as well, I think. The Elderflower could have had more flavour.

Fantastic ice cream all locally made but why oh why cannot the staff at least make a hint of a smile. Takes a chunk off the experience to meet such unfriendly faces selling a five star product!

Called in for an ice-cream. I chose pistachio and hazelnut and my friend had chocolate plus rhubarb and ginger. We had cornets which cost £3 each. The ice-cream is delicious and is worth calling in. They also do other food. Very good.

Had a great drive out near Ripon and came across G & T'S Ice cream where we fancies a quick pot of tea.We were more than tempted by the huge selection of ice creams on offer and nearly opted for one.Decided instead to opt for tea and cake. There was a great selection on offer and very reasonable prices. I had a lovely home made carrot cake and my fiancee had scones and cream. When we call in again we will inquire to the possibility of 'afternoon teas' not sure if they were on offer.Well worth a diversion off the main road if ever you are in the area. Extended dining area that is a lovely space to sit and unwind.

Really nice little shop with lots of gifts. Little expensive, but expected for Harrogate. Selection of chocolates at front were lovely, apple strudel white chocolate was incredible.

Visited on a sunny Saturday lunch. Food was excellent. Fresh crab soup and warm baked bread was brilliant. Fish pie superb and Baked Alaska to finish rounded it off so well. Sat in garden for coffee. So calm and welcoming. Location, food choice and service was very professional, personal and friendly.. Will definitely make a return visit even at 150 mile round trip from Sunderland. Superb all round

Best afternoon tea about! Mama Doreen’s never disappoints, the food is beautiful as is the fizz! The staff are friendly, attentive and extremely patient (when customers are being outright rude and difficult). Big shout out to Elliot who was amazing, thank you for making my mums birthday so special! Can’t wait to come back soon xxx

Great coffee & food at this lovely independent cafe, situated near to the stray and to town on Cold Bath Road. It’s so friendly and has a really welcoming atmosphere (even if, like me, you don’t cycle!) There are so many cafes to choose from in Harrogate, but this is my favourite - hands down!

First time visiting and definitely not the last . Great atmosphere, friendly staff and just a very comfortable place to drink.
