Friendly staff. The menu was a little limited, but the food was good enough. Good for brunch and smoothies, though I probably wouldn't recommend it as a dinner option. The giant potato rostis were great!

Lovely little find for brunch/lunch. We had the Swiss delight with salmon, (The rosti was the size of the plate and Devine) and eggs Benedict with mushrooms. Trust me, you won’t leave hungry 😋

Loved this place. We were in town for a convention and ended up coming here three days in a row. Food was excellent, healthy options and some treats, good coffee. The service was excellent and very welcoming.

A lovely place to go for drinks and food. I tried the Nachos on Mexican night on Friday. They were delicious and tasty, and swilled down with some lovely bottled beer. Staff are friendly and polite. I would recommend this place.

The food here is amazing and the coffee (especially the latte) is one of my favourites! There are healthy options, but I think people assume that's all they do... that's not the case, if you are just looking for a classic fry-up, or breakfast bap, this is the place!

Lovely place, best eggs benedict ever tasted. Service was 10/10. Well worth a visit. Near bus and train station, what's not to love.

Bouncy cheerful staff on a Sunday lunchtime. Not very busy. Quick service with good hot Yorkshire Tea. Sweet potato fries were crisp and very tasty. Catered easily for a gluten free vegan.

We went for brunch, and there was such a great selection to choose from. I chose Eggs Royale, with a side of mushrooms, my husband went for a full breakfast. Really delicious! Staff welcomed us upon arrival and told us to sit wherever we would like. Service was very efficient, and even though it was fairly busy, our food and drinks were with us within around 10 minutes. They checked we were happy with our food after a couple of minutes, and asked if there was anything else we needed. Everything was really fresh and good quality. We would highly recommend.

Had a smoothie that I shared with my daughter - one would have been too much for either of us but they kindly split it into two glasses for us. Friendly smiley staff. Chilled.

The menu says it all to all! If you’re a full on foodie, simply a plainer eater or perhaps have personal or medical dietary needs then you can’t fail to be impressed by NJ’s menu. As a Coeliac it’s so rare to find a menu that has more GF options than not. The creative chef and tremendous team just “get it” and will clearly reap huge business benefits by embracing food diversity and delivering wonderfully different , well priced and healthy options for everyone with genuine passion and personality in a relaxing, cool and welcoming space. Sadly I’m not local but will now always visit NJ’s when in Harrogate and certainly wish them even more success with the forthcoming special themed evening events.

The food in Nutrition Joes is the best food anywhere in Harrogate. Nutritious and tasty, it's simple dishes are wholesome and well prepared. I live in Harrogate and eat out a lot and can categorically say that the food and service is best in Harrogate.

Excellent service, delicious food, generous portions. An extensive menu with many gluten free and allergy options, a nice cafe and smoothies. Warm and spacious interior with very stylish but comfortable decor. I definitely recommend!

Excellent food and service, a hidden gem in Harrogate

We were recommended this location by our guest house. We came two days running for breakfast. Excellent food and very good table service. If we return to Harrogate at all this will be our breakfast stop.

Stumbled upon NJ’s during a trip to Harrogate and I am so glad I did. The young man who was serving was super friendly and attentive. He could not do enough for us. I loved the menu and the protein pancakes I ordered were the best I’ve ever eaten. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside (huge portions) and I thoroughly enjoyed them. My husband had the NJ breakfast and said they were the best chicken sausages he had ever eaten, too. 10 out of 10 will definitely be back when I am in Harrogate. Really good place to eat. Tea was nice too!

Had a lovely breakfast here today (eggs florentine) and my sister had pancakes, bacon, banana and maple syrup. Portion sizes very good. Service also very good.

A lovely breakfast spot and excellent service. We had our food and drinks within 15 minutes and it was delicious. Came here with my friends for our weekend away in Harrogate and we are going to return tomorrow before we head home. Definitely would recommend 😊

Love NJs. Delicious food and friendly staff. I had the roast root veg salad with halloumi. The all day breakfast options are also great- energiser eggs, pancakes, Swiss delight. Yet to try anything that isn’t yummy. Coffee good too. I think some people walk past because you can’t tell the quality inside. Go in!

My friend and I stayed over in Harrogate and we was looking for somewhere to eat before heading back to the North West. We are both Vegan and it can often be difficult to find somewhere that offers good quality, freshly produced meals. Following a brief google search, Nutritional Joe's (NJ's) came up, so we went for brunch (around 11:30am on Sunday 16/04/23.) Although it is not solely Vegan, they do offer a pretty decent all day vegan menu, plus it is an independent business and I always aim to support local independent places as much as I can on my travels. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with a friendly welcome from Josh, who later explained how it is his and his dad's business. Josh was friendly, chatty and knowledgeable about the food on offer. He had a great attitude and was keen to ensure the best possible customer service was provided by himself and his team. The front of house team are all relatively young but please don't judge them on the basis of age. I observed how Josh was leading his team by example and how he barely stood still for a minute. He was busy clearing tables and being attentive to his customers - hospitality is most definitely his calling. The inside decor had a semi industrial feel with furniture made from repurposed items, but it wasn't tacky, it added to the vibe. The place was spotlessly clean and it proudly boasts a 5* hygiene rating. My friend and I had porridge and an all day vegan full NJ's breakfast each. The portions were very generous. I had my porridge made with water (just my preference), and my friend had plant milk. Both dishes were made fresh and to a good consistency - e.g. creamy not gloopy or clumpy. The all day vegan NJ's breakfast comprising off 2x Heck super green sausages, grilled tomato , potato rosti , avocado, beans, mushroom and sourdough toast with an americano / Yorkshire tea or Orange Juice was also cooked to perfection and well presented on the plate. The rosti was fresh with a nice crisp skin and good flavours. To say my friend and I really enjoyed the food, the conversation with Josh, the relaxed and unhurried atmosphere and the overall vibe of the place would be an understatement - I just wish I lived closer as this would be a regular of mine. To summarise: NJ's offers unpretentious, good quality healthy food options for both vegan and non-vegan. They will adapt dishes were they can to accommodate individual preferences. They take pride in offering the best possible customer experience they can. The prices are very reasonable. Go and give it a try :-)

Lots of gluten free options. I had a Thai chicken, tomato and cucumber salad and potato chips for lunch. It was lovely and I was stuffed :) very relaxed vibe, good prices, and friendly staff. 😊 Would definitely recommend.

We visited for breakfast on a Sunday morning before the Airecon convention. The young man who served us was very friendly, efficient and had the whole place under control. The cafe was busy but we were served quickly and the food was lovely. Lots of gluten free choice too! Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

We came for breakfast two days in a row whilst visiting Harogate. The waiter was really friendly and they had good vegetarian options. The first day we both had the full vegetarian breakfast, which overall was nice but the sausages weren't great. The second we had the Swiss breakfast which was a giant potato rosti with Halloumi and Egg. It was super tasty but maybe slightly rich. Overall would recommend.

I met a friend for her birthday and we had pancakes which were gorgeous- it's a very chilled friendly atmosphere and perfect place to have coffee food and a catch up

Lots of seating. Friendly staff. The food was all fresh and healthy. The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy not dry. Nice that you get to pick two sides with your mains and there were plenty of sides to choose from. Fresh fruit juice was good too.

Portions are not fair for the price,honestly. The. Olace is nice but needs a bit of ",hands on". Tables were greasy and menus were sticky. It has the impression there is not a cleaning staff. Place is in a good place but not well looked after I think.

Stopped by for breakfast, we had the Green Sausage and Egg Brioche and the Eggs Florentine. So nice and fresh. Reasonably priced, decorated interestingly and the menus had a number of delicious sounding dishes. Wait staff were so so polite and happy. Nice place to stop for a healthy bite to eat!

Found NJ’s by chance whilst visiting friends and very pleased we did. Really enjoyed everything about the place. Our group considered of non vegans and vegans and there was plenty of choice for everyone. The food was excellent, service great and the coffee was good. What more could you want? We went for the various all day breakfast options

Firstly the food is AMAZING! Staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is lush. Our favourite place to eat in Harrogate without a doubt!

What a great place to grab some great healthy food. Five of us and a dog dropped in and were greeted. Seated and served straight away. Even though it was busy. Treats for the dog and a great healthy breakfast. coffee and Yorkshire tea. Portions were large and reasonable prices. Couldn’t fault the place and I eat out a lot!!👍🏻

Don't eat at this place. Members of Gambaru who had paid a year up front for membership lost their money when he decided to go out of business. Now he's started up a new gym in the same premises. Why don't you refund the people you ripped off Jonathan? Since posting this I have been subjected to harassment and threats. This has been reported.

Simply the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had, even better than Betty's. The hollandaise sauce is made fresh and the bacon is flame grilled... I think it's even better if u ask for it on sourdough. Staff are very friendly and the prices are reasonable...

Excellent food - we had the pancakes and the poached eggs. Friendly service. Unfortunately, in terms of atmosphere it all felt a bit cold and neglected - dirty tables, unswept floor, dog eared menus etc. As Harrogate has so many other similar options for this...

Visited here today. The food was lovely and not overpriced. Staff nice and friendly and made you feel welcome. Dogs allowed and they even provided him with a bowl of water and treats!

Brilliant place! Loved it totally. Polite, pleasant, young man serving. Super great decor, my kinda place, quirky and inspirational. Love the cable drum tables and cable drum light fittings. Quite large, spacious interior. Location is a corner plot and it has big windows and is good for people watching. Very good menu with great choices for vegetarians, vegans and gluten free options. Coming from Swiss stock, I simply had to try their homemade rösti on the Swiss Delight to see how it compared to mom's. It was very good, but mom's is still the best. Highly recommend this place and I would definitely revisit.

Arrived and sat down for 30 minutes without been acknowledged by anyone that works there and table still had plates on from the previous people at the table. Went up to the til to pace my order (they usually come over and take it) but got told they would come over. 10 minutes later still not had anyone come over to us and then another couple placed their order at the til. Avoid at busy periods!!!

Went in on Sunday to be greater by a young lad shouting at us from the bar to go find a seat! Once we sat down we did get a drinks order in fairly quickly yet it was some time before we got the drinks!...

It was the first time I've eaten there, and if I ever pass it again, I'd surely go in there again. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and the cappuccino was superb. Nice friendly atmosphere all round aswell.

Every tine I visit Harrogate I always come here for breakfast. I require a gluten free diet and plenty of options in the menu. Staff are friendly, not over priced and they make good a cappuccino.

Called in as it seemed to have some good gluten free options (which it did!). Both had the Swiss potato rosti thing, one with bacon and one with salmon, both delicious. The fresh apple juice, whilst looking a bit like frog spawn, was great too.

We had tickets booked at the theatre and stumbled across this fab family run restaurant now opening in the evenings. Food was delicious the family are great and a lovely addition to the evening- thank you 😊

The restaurant was very easy going and the menu was varied. My wife is a coeliac and requires a gluten free choice. There is a large selection on the menu so that made it easy. and we all had good quality faire from the menu....

Great place. I had breakfast there during Jubilee Weekend. Staff is amazing, food is delicious. They also have huge choice of freshly squized juices. I would recommend it to anyonewho visits Harrogate. It has great atmosphere, and great interior design.
