Rachel made our experience at the foundry was most pleasant. She ensured our drink was always topped up and that we were always taken care of. I would return if all staff were as accommodating as Rachel. X

This review is a must - my partner and I spent the whole day and night round Harrogate drinking and this is the only bar where the member of staff went out of her way to make lovely real conversation she is definitely a credit to you. We actually at first came in for a cocktail but we ended up getting light bite food to put us on as was eating later and the food was good, We then ended up with six cocktails. Beautiful cosy bar but that little bit more different to the rest of the bars from the lovely lady which was serving that day, hope you can pass this on. ( Thursday 12th April she had dark hair tied back, think maybe her name was Rachel ) We will be back when next in Harrogate.

We were a party of 8 for Bottomless Brunch, Rachel was absolutely amazing! Kept us topped up throughout our 2 hours, made sure we had everything we needed and just over all super attentive despite having multiple other tables to serve. We will be back!

The Foundry Project is a stylish bar with an industrial design. Well layed out over 2 levels with handicap access. The menu includes various pizzas , hamburgers, side plates and vegetarian/vegan options. Drinks are served at the table and the food is served rapidly. The waitresses are very welcoming, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is relaxed with background music and you can easily hold a conversation without having to raise your voice. We love it here and we will definitely be back.

Great lunch here during Harrogate restaurant week. As a solo diner was made to feel welcome and the food was delicious. Excellent service from Rachel all round.

Underwhelming food but the décor and vibe, even though it was very empty when we went (6-7.30pm) was promising and very current and to a fairly high standard. Loaded up on rocket as they 'run out' of spinach leaves! On a quiet Monday night? Forgot to order possibly but I had to ask why no spinach before I found the reason as the meal came just on a bed of rocket, no explanation. Very quick service, though my sweet potato fries were forgotten and came later, but were good. Something missing in the dairy deserts and cheese, quite possibly the whole 'Vegan' friendly menu. That means no nice textures of flavours for those that just want good food. Bring back butter, cream, proper cheese etc! Vegans go to a vegan restaurant? Why try and do half a job, let the chefs have their rein and make things how they used to. Service tried and apologised for things, reluctantly not charging for the salted caramel (vegetarian) ice cream which just was not right! Overall I might go back to give them a second chance but not my other half. But the loos were and clean smart apparently and that is generally a good sign someone is trying. Got a 30% off voucher but it is only off the bigger mains meals which saved just under £5. Not a great saving but it got us in there!

Brilliant. Had seen on social media that the foundry project do a retro games night on Tuesdays and was excited to check it out for a while. We finally made it last night and it was wonderful. I was looking after my friends boys , ages 8, 10 and 15 and as children are welcome until 9pm, this was our destination of choice. The guys had an absolute ball and we are all excited to come back. The lovely girl behind the bar was so friendly and kind and looked after us from start to finish. We decided to eat here as well, the boys having pizzas and nachos and I had the vegetarian burger. We had a salad and some chunky chips on the side as well. The food and service were excellent .. again the same lovely girl looking after us , checking in on us and making sure we were happy. When I went to the bar to order more drinks as well, the lovely girl would kindly say ‘ don’t worry, I’ll bring it up to you’ Just really lovely little touches like that go so far! The retro games on offer are amazing and brought me right back to my childhood when I used to play my brothers consoles and he would always win. They are all set up in cosy little booths and they have a Nintendo , Super Nintendo , N64 and a sega mega drive .. all set up with loads of games to choose from. Something different for Harrogate and a dream for us. Like I say we had so much fun and can’t wait to go back for some more delicious food and lots of fun. Thank you so much for looking after us so well and we are looking forward to seeing you again!

A group of us had lunch at the foundry project Harrogate on Tuesday 23rd. Rachel looked after us and both the food and service was excellent. A great place to dine or just have drinks when visiting Harrogate.

We went to the Foundry Project on Saturday for a lunchtime bite to eat. It was fairly quiet due to the dreary weather. Our server - Rachel - was lovely... Attentive and unobtrusive at the same time, which was perfect. The food was good - well cooked, tasty and nicely presented.

Called in on a Sunday evening we had a voucher to use from Your Harrogate, not very busy but got a very polite and enthusiastic welcome from the bar staff ( asked his name and it was Charlie) got a couple of beers and got seated, ordered a burger with upgrade on fries to Angry fries ( these were fantastic ) also a pizza , Charlie brought food to table asked if we required sauces which he went and got , came back during meal and checked if everything was ok . Then when we had finished he politely came over and asked if we had finished and cleared the table with a smile also asking if we required anything else, had another drink. As we left we were thanked for our custom by Charlie and wished a good night. Special Thank you to Charlie for making us feel so welcome, will definitely be back

Arrived at venue and was seated in a booth which suited the 6 of us. Staff friendly and took our order and we had a great meal. Unfortunately during our meal a fight broke out with some people near us. Which we thought got dealt with so we carried on with our evening only to see an even bigger fight start with some of the same people that should have been removed. We immediately left it took several police to sort the issue out. In my opinion if the people would have been told to leave after the first fight the second would not have happened cutting short our evening. Having shared the Gents toilets with Drug abusers maybe we should have left earlier, we where having a great evening in your great bar but if your going to tolerate those types in good customers will stop visiting. We are booked to stay in Harrogate over the new year im sorry to say we will not be visiting Foundry Project.

Rachael served us this afternoon and was absolutely amazing.We came for bottomless brunch and she was always checking in that we were okay, making sure our drinks were topped up before we had to ask. Overall had a lovely time and would definitely recommend the foundry project and Rachael!

Rachel who served us was great. We went for bottomless brunch and she always made sure our glasses were full. Food and drinks were excellent. This was 3rd year me and my girlfriend have been for this. It has never been a dissapointment.

We just wandered into the Foundry Project on the off chance on a Saturday in December. Instantly welcomed and made to feel at home. It's table service - and it was really efficient and incredibly warm and friendly. I had the chicken caesar salad and it was fantastic portion size with really good quality chicken. My husband had the pizza and said it was excellent. Rachel and Charlot looked after us brilliantly. We'll be back when we are next in Harrogate. Really good value for the quality of the food and service.

We had a fabulous meal for our a Christmas works party on 2/12/23. The service from Ray and Charlot was amazing and they made our evening perfect with the great service, nothing was too much trouble. The only slight drawback for this amazing place is that it was a bit noisy for us and we struggled to hear our conversations.

My first visit to Foundry Project but it won't be the last. The food was excellent and the service just as good. We were served by Rachel who was knowledgeable about the menu and nothing was too much trouble. She was attentive without being intrusive and really friendly throughout. The Buddha Bowl was excellent. My companions had a pizza and a Halloumi burger respectively and pronounced them excellent. The skinny chips were swapped out for fat chips without issue and our two desserts among three people were not an issue at all. Three spoons were brought and both the chocolate brownie and sticky toffee pudding were absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend the chips which were shared between us and were perfectly cooked and really fluffy. Portion sizes were just right and overall this was a really, really enjoyable meal. The restaurant was reasonably quiet when we visited but the atmosphere was lovely and it meant we could talk easily over lunch. Overall, I'd highly recommend.

I booked a surprise party for my partner 40th, the whole experience was very pleasant. Judith made the booking and arrangements very easy for me and Rhi the floor manager helped us all night long providing the food at an appropriate time, keeping the area clear of non-guests and being very friendly, and the bar manager help keep track of the tab and was very helpful. The food was absolutely delicious, and when ordering this I was offered the best package and price for my needs I would definitely recommend this to friends wanting a similar experience in Harrogate. No salt on the Margarita glass.

Hesitated about reviewing but the Buddha Bowl lacked protein other than some humus (no beans, pulses or tofu), had no grains and devoid of any fresh tastes or texture. It did include an unwelcome large chunk of hard clear plastic of unknown origin. Sadly I can't recommend based on my experience.

My bridesmaids booked a bottomless brunch at the Foundry for my hen party which took place on 7th October. The staff did not disappointment and special shout out to Charlot and Ashleigh who were great! The service was amazing and they engaged with us and even helped judge one of our games the hens as planned! The food was amazing and lots of choice too! The drinks included aperol spritz, bottled beer and Prosecco. The staff were great at making sure our glasses weren’t empty. The venue was lovely and we had our own little space for our table. This was perfect as we were out of the way for other guests who may have wanted a quieter afternoon drink! Thanks so much guys!! I was one happy bride to be!!

What a great pub. Lovely cocktails. Even better at bogof lol. Loved the atmosphere of the place even though I think we were the only ones in. Service was great with a warm welcome.
