Order never deliveded but marked as delivered. Calling the bakery was totally unhelpful, I tried to get in touch with the driver but I received no answer. Actually trying to get a refund.

Food was great but 15 minutes late is abit crazy

First time trying this place just now... We got two Sassage, egg and bacon breakfast butties... Just lovely.... We couldn't fault it... Every ingredient tasted amazing.. Especially the sourdough bread. Looking forward to coming back again soon :)

Well worth a visit,super little artisan style bakery.I bought the white sourdough,focaccia boule,two toasties,two scones and two chunky biscoff brownies.Pleasant staff and cute little tables inside plus outdoor seating. Wish we had a bakery like this where we live! Highly recommend the sourdough toasties,set us up for our journey home to Wales.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿❤️

The food is fresh and delicious. It has a warm buzzing atmosphere and the staff are often friendly and kind would recommend if you wanna support a small business

Was left ignored and unserved. Decided to just wait for our train in the end without purchasing. Servers time was taken with filling a just eat order. Us and others completely ignored.

This little gem of a cafe is just perfect, conveniently placed near the hospital. Means a great pit stop for me after my visits there.

Just what I needed post parkrun :)

Visited today with my husband for breakfast. What a find. I had the most delicious chicken, pesto, salad sandwich on sourdough bread. It was packed with chicken and tasted so fresh and yummy. My husband had the ham and mature cheese toastie and again he said it was delicious. Packed with ham and proper mature cheese. Staff were very friendly. The cakes and scones looked fab but I was too full from the sandwich to try one. Well done, will definitely call in again when in the area.

I am a little disappointed to be honest! My partner and I are moving to Scotland and we needed energy for the move! This is the best breakfast I’ve had hands down in Harrogate! I discover it the day before I move! This world is a cruel place ! Just want to say thank you so much. It’s amazing to see how much you guys care about the food you make, the bread is incredible and the ingredients perfection!! Thank you so much. Ps debating if a six hour journey is acceptable for a bacon and egg sandwich.

The sourdough bread is very nice. The salad wasn't as fresh as it could have been. The coffee was also very nice. There was a few teething problems with new staff whilst we were there but I'm sure it will get sorted. Either that or your food could be free. Lots of parking just not outside the dentist place on the corner.

Absolutely fabulous place! The homemade quiche and salad I had for lunch was delicious, excellent coffee and the bread I got to take home is to die for (olive focaccia and a Chorizo and cheese cob) And the staff are all lovely too! Highly recommended

This was unexpected. Stopped for a quick coffee and ended up having the most delicious sandwich I think I've ever eaten. Felt compelled to write this as so many places in Harrogate are all show.

What a little Gem !!!!!! Googled a nearby bakery on our road trip and found this one So glad we did We ordered two sandwiches (so indulgent and full of flavour) lemon drizzle slice frangipani slice sourdough loaf and a couple of sausage rolls Everything was absolutely delicious we couldn’t fault anything soooooo tasty Cakes where the best we’ve had for a Long time ……. Very friendly staff Quick service High recommended ***** We ate most of it before thinking to take any pictures 🤣

Fabulous bakery and cafe in Harrogate Station. Good coffee, delicious cakes, handy for the train. Bought a loaf of seeded bread and it’s excellent.

Amazing tasty toasties and paninis, and the cakes are INCREDIBLE. Unfortunately the coffee is always disappointing and tastes burnt. But everything else is great!

No atmosphere, a woman serving who was uninterested in serving. The worst cheese and ham toasty ever with far too much ham and unmelted cheese. So many good cafes in Harrogate, shan’t be returning.

Nice seating area inside. Had to wait a while for my takeaway coffee order. I think the coffee flavour could be improved as it tasted a bit weak and a little off. The pain au raisin pastry we had tasted a little bland as well. However, I think this place has great potential and the name sounds cool. I haven't tried all the food items however, so if I try again I may update my review.

Interesting breads and cakes. Not in the nicest or most convenient of locations but worth a visit.

Possibly the largest breakfast sandwich I've seen. Both it and the coffee was great, especially at 7:30. Staff very friendly too!

Not the usual standard for the Secret Bakery. 2 x cappuccino were just like warm and the two cheese and ham toasties were hardly toasted just like warm bread. There was plenty of filling but not as enjoyable for these reasons.

Been in the train station shop twice now and staff are unbelievably rude. No hello, no how can I help, no goodbye and no smile. It’s really not hard to have basic customer service skills. Wouldn’t recommend.

Very good! Excellent tiffin, comfortable seating in the window and friendly staff. What more could you want while waiting for relatives with hospital appointments?

Food was good however took over an hour for delivery resulting in food being cold when I came to eat it

Great little bakery serving delicious, freshly prepared, sandwiches and cakes, all made on the premises. You can sit in but it is also very popular for take away lunches. I was served by the delightful Matthew, who even poured my tea. Very generous hand carved ham salad sandwich on their own sourdough bread. Located next door to Yarn etc selling an incredible range of yarn for knitting and crochet. My idea of heaven but a little too far away from my home near Glasgow. However, I will be back.

What a great place - excellent coffee and delicious baked goods. Super friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Right next to the station. What's not to like! Wholeheartedly recommend it.

The best real sourdough bread ever.we tried the spelt and the whole meal versions. Both were delicious. They bake several different types of sourdough . The olive looked amazing I want to try that next time.Get there early.

Sausage sandwich was a disgrace food wasn’t staying in the bread sausages were too fatty so was the bacon

Recent visit , wonderful service , the sandwich was made on the spot and was amazing ... can't wait to go back and sample more including coffee :) Update 2024 Sept 30 - This place continues to be awesome. Popped in for a coffee and pastrami sandwich , both were sublime. If you’ve got the time and don’t mind a small premium (nhs and blue badge discount available) then this place is a must. oh and do your best not to be tempted by the cakes/cookies just looking at them is too tempting. Final note they do offer a “club card” to get a free coffee.

Everything covered in hot (warm hot chocolate) left on the dustbin. Health & safety would love that

Called in for lunch and I was really disappointed. Over priced and felt like an inconvenience by the man who interrupted the girl who was serving me perfectly fine, as I didn't have the exact change. Despite me offering the closest amount possible with the money I had. I wouldn't return

To say this sandwich was mediocre would be too kind. Ordered a over priced mozzarella, pesto and tomato toasted sandwich. First of all wasn’t toasted when I got to my destination, had to go back. Mozzarella was cheap grated mozzarella and stingy. Also had warm soggy cucumber and spinach, very random ingredients not advertised. Had high expectations for this place. Disappointing.

What a lovely locally owned business. Great food and very friendly. They make their own bread which is 1st class as are the sandwich fillings and cake. Let's not forget the coffee. A delicious flat white is always on the menu for me. Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend.

I popped in randomly as I was passing and had the coronation chicken sandwich with salad on the seeded loaf. It was lovely, both the filling and bread was superb. Next time I visit I'll pick up a whole loaf to take home.

I have eaten here numerous times with takeout sandwiches and have always found them to be exceptional quality. Service is consistently friendly and welcoming, even when busy... Which they often are. Home made bread and an array of tasty cakes with good quality sandwich fillings. A small area to sit if you so choose and dog friendly too. Highly recommend.

Popped in today and bought a loaf of olive and herb, very fresh and tasty will be visiting again.

Great selection and top quality bread. Tasty sandwiches, especially the pastrami. We go from Leeds twice a month. It is absolutely worth it.

Amazing breads, great seeded sourdough and creative loaves like this wild garlic and cheese one that was absolutely delicious. Room for one or two cars to park in front of the cafe.

Fantastic bakery. We go from time to time from Leeds. All bread is exquisite but mention apart to the 5 seeds, and the marmite and cheese. It's worth saying that brunch options are de delicious.

Didn’t read order notes. Sadly, was not edible. Bacon undercooked. Disappointing as normally pretty amazing from here

Popped in for a coffee and ended up having breakfast sandwiches too. Lovely little independent bakery with good coffee and options of toasted and untoasted sandwiches, pastries and cakes. Selection of bread including sourdough. Limited seating space inside, but there are also a few tables and chairs outside, but not that practical in the winter or UK weather most of the year! Cosy cafe but no toilet facilities.

Great types of bread. Acceptable prices. The seeded bread was so tasty we are considering of going to Harrogate only for this bread. You can enjoy excellent toasts sitting inside. The seating space is small, but there are a few tables and chsirs outside, when the weather allows.

Popped in to get some bread and they'd almost completely sold out... except for a loaf of 5 seeds granary. Bought it and it's fantastic - a real treat. Very glad to have this bakery nearby and will definitely visit again.

Wonderful little bakery who showed me immense kindness when I visited in December while my son was poorly in hospital. Food and coffee were excellent too. I'll never forget it. Thank you ❤️

My husband and I slightly regret stumbling across The Secret Bakery now... because no other bread we eat could ever be as delicious! We've recently found ourselves popping in most weekends for a takeaway sandwich (pesto and coronation chicken are both divine.) The staff are super friendly and we always enjoy the food and other sweet treats. We look forward to eating in-house soon and would definitely recommend The Secret Bakery to everyone.

Delivery arrived missing the cakes that were ordered. Phoned the shop after speaking to the rude just eat driver who wasn’t interested. Shop were happy to rectify the missing cakes and delivered them personally so for that I’m a happy customer :) food plentiful and tasty. thank you

We have visited the cafe and purchased from the bakery on a number of occasions and the quality of the many types of Bread, cakes, sandwiches, Hot food and drinks on offer are delicious and fantastic value. A lovely family run business whose passion and dedication are reflected in the quality of the food and drinks they produce on the premises. I cannot recommend it highly enough and is a "must" for a visit if you are in Harrogate or Knaresborough.

Just picked a Too Good to Go bag, or tried to anyway. They said it had been cancelled even though App clearly showed it hadn’t been. Not helped by the short, surly, middle aged bloke at the Harrogate shop not even apologising. Not impressed withe attitude. Edit - poor response. We’ve had orders cancelled before via Too Good to Go and get notifications well in advance so that we don’t waste time and money on an unnecessary trip. You failed to notify them hence they couldn’t let me know. Your staff said they told you yesterday there would be no stock available for a pick up. Hence the fault is yours, not Too Good to Go.

Have just had the best breakfast sandwich ever, absolutely delicious!!! A telephone order which the friendly staff had ready as I arrived, real quality food which is obviously made with lots of love and dedication, already looking forward to my next visit. Thanks guys.

A random google search ("harrogate bakery") led us here in search of food supplies for a long drive to London. Excellent (and huge!) cheese and chutney sandwiches and a couple of first-rate flapjacks made us glad we stopped.

This place is my favourite bakery. Their sandwiches are beautiful, especially the sourdough, falafel and houmous with salad. Always with a cheeky bag of crisps too. 😋

This bakery is amazing, it's my happy place ,the energy of staff is incredible, always give you a boost with their kindness and service. And the loaves and sandwiches! Best yet, brie, onion chutney on 5 seed loaf! Thanks so much xx

Ordered a breakfast sandwich and a cake, cake was delicious but the breakfast sandwich barely even glanced at the grill. Uncooked sausages and bacon, had to bin it unfortunately. The cake however was very tasty so thank you.

we asked for no brown sauce on the bacon, sausage and egg sandwich and we still got it even though we asked for it not to be put on, we put it on the note to the restaurant.

Drinks didn’t come and called food

Usually very impressed with my orders from here, today I asked for chutney to be replaced woth pesto as I really don't like chutney, instead it came with what seemed like half a jar of chutney in the toasty so i binned it. My partners sandwich arrived and had dry chicken in only one half of the sandwich! Also missed a bottle of water but but that isn't really a problem.

Orderd Two tuna toasties arrived hard burnt toast with piles of overloaded tuna to the point where is was dropping all over I was so disappointed will not bother again so expensive for low quality food.

Tried this place for the first time, without a doubt the best breakfast sandwich I've ever eaten, highly recommend!
