I'm so disappointed with valentines night at the Manor Arms. On arrival, we noticed a number of empty tables, so we expected to be able to get seated quite quickly. We were told to go and have a drink in the bar while they got our table ready and then had to wait for 1 hour before I enquired whether our table was ready yet? We waited another 30 minutes before our amuse bouche was served. When we finally got our starters and main course they were delicious. The chef is clearly very talented. And to be fair the staff are all very friendly. However I don't understand why they can't cope with the number of customers. Surely they need to make sure when people book tables that they can meet the demand or limit the numbers to ensure everyone can be seated and served within a reasonable time. If they can just fix this system, it would have been a very enjoyable evening. This last time we went here for a meal was for my husbands birthday and again we waited almost 1 hour to sit at our table.

This is a great coffee shop situated on a retail park. As it is on a retail park there is plenty of free parking. Like all cafe Nero’s it is dog friendly. It’s interesting to note that there is no data reception inside this coffee shop. It makes me wonder if Cafe Nero is trying to force customers to use their in-house WiFi and hand over personal information to do so which, of course, could be used for marketing purposes. Conspiracy theories aside this is an excellent coffee shop.

Having waited in a long queue, on reaching service point was told "we are not doing any more hot food" at this time hot food was still being taken out to tables but at 1.30 someone obviously decided no more orders were being accepted, staffing levels were high at this time, families were arriving for lunch, there was no sign at the entrance stating there was no hot food to save you waiting in a long queue before you were told, when I queried the situation with the manageress she simply shrugged and said "apologies for that" in a very non apologetic manner.m As a family we will not be returning here and as a regular M&S customer feel that for some time now your cafe at the Malvern store has fallen way below your usual standards.

Reply to the recent review on here. Can I just say I can assure you the service was poor even my husband said the lack in table service wasn't good 3 members of staff did not visit our table ! We had to call attention to a staff member to ask for some desserts ! To which the blonde lady came back and there was nobody missing from the table! My husband had to call someone over for drinks also . It wasn't just the steam to my mix grill at all ! It wasn't cut into pieces already at all . The fat had been cut off it and it was pink inside ! when I asked for it to be cooked well done! You then brought out 2 little bits of steak chopped up on a plate , when realistically any decent chef would of done a new piece and not reheated it ! also the fact the corn on the cob off the rib platter was cold! And as for the spirits so my party of 6 two of them being children managed to get threw spirits? We had 3 drinks each me and my mom that was it. And 2 of those people wasn't drinking alcohol and as for having money off the bill the 30 percent came threw email when I booked it online, and you took off x1 child's starter and one main course which was £8 in value. Im not tarnishing your business and its not false information i am well in my rights to post a honest review and i will stand by it! the food service was poor , my meal was cooked not how asked and my husbands was cold!
