Excellent value for money, lovely friendly service from volunteers. Can recommend the cheese scone with butter and the beautiful locally sourced cakes. Dogs welcome with customers. Highly recommended.

Had a really lovely Sunday lunch. I had roast beef and my husband had roast pork. Absolutely delicious! Roast potatoes, dauphinoise potatoes, carrots, brocoli, peas, stuffing with sausage meat, Yorkshire pudding and lashings of gravy. Couldn't fault it. Friendly staff and owner. Well worth a visit.

Smile with a service with awesome coffee, lovely setting. Keep the Independents the going, and small business. The cakes are tasty, and the food is amazing 🤩

I ordered some sausage baps and some bacon baps. All cans to around £30 so I was expecting some good quality food. The food was awful! When you order a sausage bap you get one sausage cut in half. For £5 -£6 I expect something more. The bacon baps were all burnt. Me and the family just through it in the bin after a couple bites. Such a shame as the staff member at the till seemed lovely. Unfortunately the food is poor.

This place is more like a social experience than a café, in keeping the ethos of it's charitable background. We were way out of season and it's fairly well off the main beaches in a bit of a cul de sac of the riviera seafront so we suspect it's all very different in the high season. On New Year's Eve it was more like being invited to a family and friends get together than walking into a commercial establishment - apart from the paying bit obviously, but even that wasn't too painful!
