Lovely staff, but not the menu shown on line, very poor choice. Not recommended

We went to cafe before doing shopping. Limited brunch menu. Good quality toasties and various pastries, muffins etc. Coffee ok. Not the best. Generally clean. Pleasant no-nonsense staff. A few tables outside for those with dogs.

What a nice old pub , beautiful building with nice little garden . Plenty of ales , counted at least 7 . Some nice cider too . Will definitely visit again .

One of the toasties was only warm so had to go back for reheating. Then realised my partners milk jug was filthy dirty inside & out. I tried cleaning the inside of it with an anti bac wet wipe & hey presto it made a difference. I pointed this out to a staff member who apologised & said the dishwasher is not cleaning the milk jugs properly. I explained they should not be using them if this is so. Yuck, what else isn’t it cleaning? Not returning, far too dirty for me & not willing to pay for this type of service.
