The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Beckington and Selwood Mendip South West

This place is unreal, it’s that good ! It’s a deli-style, ‘French’ cafe and is perfect, and I am fussy. The food, the staff, the presentation. If you have no room for dessert you just take away a slice of posh cake for later. As I can only eat small portions, I took away my tasty left-overs in a little box to enjoy the following day. Nothing is a problem here at ‘Mes Amis’. It’s just off the A36 just south of Bath, so it’s a convenient meeting place for friends & family to meet up !

The owner is a great host. I've regularly enjoyed a great customer experience here. I'm usually with one of a number of close friends, sometimes we cycle, sometimes dog walking but whatever the activity it usually ends up here for, the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, great food, the lovely space, which includes to the 'patio' area. Simple bacon and egg butties, breakfast to a generous selection of (100% home made) cakes and wide selection of teas. I'm welcome as a, cyclist and dog walker. It's a bit of a meeting point and family spot too. This has always been one of my favourite nearby cycling stops near by Frome. Much of the food is 'home made' and I've never regreted trying anything at Cafe Nouveau. You'll most likely be served by the owner yet whoever takes the order you'll have a reliable friendly service. Here for lunch Usually have fish & chips but decided to have the Fish Special Mongers *mongers mixed grill-salmon, gurnard, cod, lemon sole, prawn Served with chips, aioli dcrais bisque It was superb ! Certainly have this dish again

I have visited this Starbucks 3 times now. Every time the toilets were a disgrace. No toilet roll water on floor (I hope it was water!) Today the cafe area was so humid and smelly I left and bought some very nice food and drink from the M and S shop on site. Avoid at all costs
