The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East Dorset South West

The Beacon used to be amazing when it was run by Paul. I haven't been for a couple of years and decided to take some friends there for lunch. We booked a table the day before, as one of our party has limited mobility. When we arrived, they knew nothing of our booking and ended up pushing two tables together by the door, so we were sat in the draft. The standard of food has gone downhill immensely, and the available choices are limited. Nothing compared to what it was. We were a party of five and all our food came at different times, so we weren't eating together. The food took so long that our drinks were cold by the time it arrived. Lastly, I was SHOCKED at the prices! It cost nearly £80 for lunch for five people - and all we had were sandwiches and a couple of jacket spuds... This is all such a shame as it used to be excellent!

Seeded sourdough is absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to try other varieties of breads. Good to know it's a family bakery.

Stopped for coffee, spotted the luxury hot chocolate on the board and changed our minds. Loaded with cream and marshmallows and sprinkles and sauce and a flake, we could not have asked for more. Delish, and quick service too. Thank you, ladies :)

We have used sorrels several times including for our wedding and every time they have hit the spot with top notch food and service. we have now had our second 3 course delicious meal delivered to us by sorrels during these tough times along with several of our neighbours (at their own homes) last night we had a great evening, beautiful garlic prawns to start, the most delicious lamb shank with filled potato skins, green beans and veg followed by lemon posset with homemade shortbread. Our neighbours join in having food delivered to their door all safely and following the measures needed, and we just dish up the piping hot food, enjoy and leave the boxes and bits on our doorstep for sorrels to pick back up the next day. It’s like having restaurant food at home where you feel safe. Thanks again guys look forward to the next meal

My wife and I went here on 5th. We chose the BBQ from the extensive menu. The BBQ was awesome and cooked in full view by mine host The Hoff. After the meal, during coffee The Hoff gave us brandy and malt whisky on the house. A truly awesome experience!

A welcoming florist cafe, where your dogs are made welcome, with a treat and smile. The service is very approachable and friendly. You request an item, and offered alternatives, choices are available, cakes are irresistible. Great place to stop if passing through West Moors, or to take a break if walking/shopping with friends/family. Parking in local vicinity, and plenty of shops to look around if you wish. Sit inside or out, washroom available. Great for connecting with friends. Thanks to all staff for warm/friendly experience. We will be back!

This Cafe is attached to Pedals Cycle shop. Nice new, bright Cafe. Food is good and includes All Day Breakfast, including Veggie option. Also some Vegan options. They are accommodating and will tweak their menu accordingly. There is an enclosed outside area at the rear and tables also by the main road outside. Adequate car park at rear with Cycle parking. Friendly Staff. If I had a criticism it would be that the food could be served a little quicker - but its worth the wait.

We are a family of 12 over 3 generations, 14 to 80, and booked an early afternoon get-together so we all had time to get there. We were warmly welcomed by the manageress and waitress and shown to our table. We ordered two of the large platters (for 6) and asked the manageress to select the cheese and charcuterie to make it easier and ordered extra baskets of bread as we are a family of bread eaters and included teenage boys 🤣! The platters included pork pies, baked Camembert, hot chorizo, hummus and pate plus grapes, olives, and stuffed peppers. Some of us had ice cream afterwards and we had a mixture of drinks including gin, wine, beer and soft drinks and tap water. The bill for 12 of us was under £400 which we thought was excellent value. We had a lovely relaxed afternoon, yummy food and brilliant hospitality. Thank you Renoufs - we will be back.

Tiny shop. Nothing seemed to have prices. The vegetables out the front looked like they were picked a week ago. We walked out. Wouldn't bother returning. We visited on Sunday 16th March 2024 at approximately 11.30am

Ordered cod and chips. Excellent chips but the cod was warm on the outside, cold and raw in the middle. Will NOT be returning.
