Such a little gem of a place. The decor is industrial meets Victorian, everything is quirky but well thought through. Beautiful Japanese teapot with bone china cup and saucer, shot glasses used for jam and clotted cream. Delicious food, friendly service. Visibly lots of returning customers and locals. We will be back!

Tuvimos una noche realmente encantadora. Buena comida, personal muy amable y servicial. Nos sentamos afuera, ya que era una noche soleada, pero el interior es cálido y acogedor si el tiempo es frío. Un precioso edificio Cotswold.

Excellent food, friendly and attentive staff and good service. Food arrived quickly. Beautiful setting with roomy restaurant and outside seating overlooking Penrose water gardens. Location is not well signposted but it didn’t take long to find it.

We’ve been visiting Kingswear for three years and we stay not far from this lovely café. However, this year we are a bit confused by the menu we are not sure what is available when as they seem to have extended it to include chips we are not sure if we are able to have an English breakfast although clearly we can have baps. However, it seems all a bit muddled as to what else you can have and when!

Our staff do went for a night out and they were very helpful and accomidating of us, we had someone whos coeliac and myself with crohn's, Emily came and spoke with us to make everything clear and she understood and we felt unjudged, which was refreshing, best manager I've come across. I can happily say I've never felt so at ease with eating and drinking in a restaurant. The staff were quick and efficient with service and always had a smile on there faces. Georgia, Emily and lexi serviced us and made sure we had a brilliant time. Cannot thank all the girls that made our night out the best memory. Would recommend badavis to anyone. Thank you 🩵

Great tasty late afternoon breakfast and toasted scones. Friendly service and ambience. The cafe is a family run business and is located off the main square in Beauminster so could easily be missed. It was a Monday and most of the cafes were closed and the few that were open had only cold food so it was great to find somewhere serving warm food. Look for the orange sign on the square or outside the cafe. The cafe has artwork and crafts on display as well as books and is light and bright.

We went into it at lunchtime, larger than it looks, with a nice beer garden, friendly staff..... Didn't need the open fire on, miles to hot inside

So so good i will be coming back had a birthday meal with friends and we was able to decorate. food was lush and staff was so friendly. will definitely recommend!

A lovely treat! My husband and I went to Willow's Tearoom in Landkey, North Devon. I had a lovely pot of tea with a homemade scone, cream and strawberry conserve, my husband had ginger sponge with custard and a double espresso. All vegan! It was fantastic! The food was beautifully cooked and tasted amazing. The owner was incredibly friendly and we can't speak highly enough of Willows. If you are visiting North Devon check their opening times and treat yourself!

Beautiful ice cream and lovely friendly staff. Food that was coming out the kitchen all looked lovely. I will be back again when I next visit Newquay.

WOW!! The best vegan cafe, if not any cafe, that I've been to. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Lovely atmosphere and great staff

Service/staff - Good Quantity - Good Quality Excellent Price - Good We found the Polenta with camponata/vegan feta, was delicious/plentiful - but needed a bit more feta/something creamy to counteract the richness of the camponata. The fish burgers were really good and best of all the Rosemary fries. Good selection of cakes. Only negative, didn't have disabled toilet facilities of any kind. Disappointing. Can get 'noisy' when full.

Los chefs, frente a la casa toda la experiencia fue fantástica. Dirijo mi propio restaurante y realmente tan feliz que he encontrado corcho y langosta. lo que teníamos más allá pero vimos comida yendo a otras mesas que dejaban Quieres más. ¡Los Wellington estaban locos! Volveremos tan pronto como podamos.

Popped into Taart for lunch whilst on business in the area. The cafe was spotlessly clean and the service was friendly and with a huge smile. I had the takeaway hash box (minus spinach) and it was delicious, roast potato, bacon, egg and beans all cooked to perfection and very tasty. I will definitely use Taart again when I'm in the area.
