We moved to Burley recently and have really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at the WB. They make a really valuable contribution to the community and have some fun events (e.g. quizzes, discos, book clubs, etc). The staff and volunteers work really hard to make everyone feel welcome. Also offers the cheapest drinks in Burley!

First of all, I would like to thank the affection and attention of the employees. Because a good establishment starts with a good service. The breakfast is super delicious, complete with many varieties.

I met some mates here, for breakfast and a coffee. This was my first visit and I was not disappointed, in fact, I was very impressed! Friendly service, from. Honey, who looked after us extremely well, great food and drinks too, with local produce, which is always nice. The cafe is clean and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable. I’m sure I’ll be heading back there in the not too distant future. Keep up the good work!

A little gem of a place, staff were so friendly and welcoming. Coffee was really nice with a toasted teacake that was huge. Good conversation with the staff plus the standard of Covid precautions are one of the best we have seen. Would definitely recommend popping in if you are in the area.

An impromptu mid week dinner with a friend decided to visit, first time done the refurb. Lovely atmosphere, log fires, warm and inviting on a gloomy January evening. Food was fresh and delicious. We had the lamb skewers an chicken and avocado salad. Well present and really tasty. Barbara was an excellent host, we felt welcome, from start to finish the service was excellent and we enjoyed the whole experience. Will be back to try the Sunday Roast soon!

The quintessential place to stay in the New Forest. Feels like you are right at the heart of everything with beautiful walks guaranteeing pony sighting. The rooms are spotless, beautifully decorated and with a nice homely feel. The bathroom is lovely, clean with all you need including conditioner, all smell lovely. I appreciated not having to unpack my own shampoo/conditioner and soap. Shower had great pressure. Towels were of great size and good quality. The bed was super comfy. The included breakfast offers you a continental option plus several hot ones on a menu. We ordered the Eggs Royale and the Mashed Avocado and both were delicious. Coffee as well. I cannot wait to come back to the New Forest and stay here longer. It was the perfect break in the countryside. Thank you to everyone.

Disappointed to discover they have closed their indoor seating area, for good it seems, and only offer take away service. Which for disabled persons, means struggling with your food and drink to outdoor only benches some 20 yards from the cafe entrance.
