A little gem of a place, staff were so friendly and welcoming. Coffee was really nice with a toasted teacake that was huge. Good conversation with the staff plus the standard of Covid precautions are one of the best we have seen. Would definitely recommend popping in if you are in the area.

Homely and warm and the staff were friendly. Lovely stop off to relax and get out of the cold and rain

We cycled to Bransgore to get some cash. The assistant in the co-op recommended the Coffee Shop. A warm welcome and an enthusiastic offering of the items from the menu. We had a mocha and tea cake and the kids had milkshakes. £1.40 for a delicious milkshake with cream and marshmallows. What more could you ask for. What a bargain. Definitely worth visiting.

Had an hour to wait so went in for coffee. Got a sandwich with the coffee, both were exactly what I needed. Ended up in a conversation with the staff and customers, so friendly! Will return soon as it was so refreshing and food and coffee good. Who needs chain places when you can still find this kind of place

Run by volunteers, so the service might not be as sharp as you’re used to in other coffee shops, but what it lacks in organisation it more than makes up for in charm. Living in the village we regularly call into the Coffee House at the weekend for a drink and a slice of cake and we always receive a warm welcome. Toys and books for kids also mean that parents can grab a coffee in (relative) peace! Would recommend if you’re in the area. :)

Very friendly welcome, basic menu for lunch but nice homemade cakes. No dogs inside but there is a small table outside.

It was with trepidation that I stepped in through the doors at first. I was worried that I may have ventured into an English teacher house by mistake. But soon my mistaken mind was met with the smell of my coffee as it was brought to me by a helpful and smiling attendant. It was if the beans of my imbibement had been ground in the armpit of a goddess, I rejoiced quietly to myself and counted the buttons on my blazer. The attendant pretended not to notice so to protect my embarrassment. I sniffed my coffee with full nostrils noting it's tones and subtleties and I came to the conclusion that this was indeed a coffee house of great renown.

Dropped in for a coffee with a friend, and ended up staying for lunch! Lovely welcoming staff, fresh food made from local produce, all staff are volunteers. The cafe is bright and cheerful, home made cakes, vases of fresh sweet peas - pay it a visit, much better than a costa or cafe nero! A little gem. (Sandwich from local ham was delicious)

This lovely little cafe, The Coffee House at Bransgore, Christchurch, Dorset, was recommended to us some years ago and we are so pleased that it was, because we have become regulars. It is situated just off Bransgore's main small shopping centre and opposite a free car park and there is also parking in the road. This cosy cafe serves cooked breakfasts, light lunches - for example homemade soup, toasted sandwiches, jacket potatoes and salad, there are lovely cakes, icecream, also hot and cold drinks etc. We love their cappuccinos which are always delicious. There is always a warm welcome from the staff who are volunteers and an absolutely marvellous job they do too, a really lovely cafe.

Staffed totally by volunteers, this coffee house supports local churches without any attempt to push religion, it is run just as a local community service. The menu is basic but served fresh and at reasonable prices. Service is good and very friendly.

This friendly coffee shop just off the Main Road in Bransgore is well located near the local post office and opposite a public carpark. Serving a range of coffees, teas, cakes and light meal options, its perfect if you are in the area to meet up with friends or just passing through. Prices are reasonable for flavoursome soup, sandwiches, rolls and delicious home-baked cakes. Well worth a stopover.

Home made cakes, excellent 'barista style' coffee at very reasonable prices (£1.60 for coffee, £1.85 for cappuccino) makes the Coffee House one of the best kept secrets of the New Forest. Everything from teacakes to toasties, via jacket potatos and soups, you can't go wrong

Visited the Sail inn with my uncle who lives in Lymington. Previous experience at the pub had been very good however this visit has left a very poor taste in the mouth. While the fish and chips were adequate the use of some sort of paper to "soak up the oil" from the food was less than appetizing for my uncle who is elderly. While the stated serving hours were 12 to 3pm when I requested dessert and coffees we were told the kitchen was closed as the chef "had to be somewhere" Given the choice of quality establishments in Lymington we obviously regretted choosing The Sail Inn and won't be doing so in the future - the fact there was no warning that the kitchen was closing early is annoying however the actual decision to shut early on a Friday lunchtime in a competive marketplace is beyond me.

Popped in here for a breakfast, all the tables had ‘reserved ‘on them( a sign of a good place!) and we told the staff we were just after brekkie though it was nearing lunchtime. They reconfigured a table so we could eat and we had a lovely full english, quality sausages nice bread etc. will always go back there when we visit the forest

Just had the mushrooms on sourdough with Morcilla. Flavour was amazing. Recommend extra bacon too.
