Excellent coffee and a tasty sausage bap.

My friends and I came for lunch after 1 previous visit before lockdown. We all opted for the roast dinner and wow - it was absolutely delicious!!! We all said it was the best roast dinner we'd ever had!!! Every part of it tasted amazing and we cleared our plates! We also couldn't resist having a dessert and those were also amazing, we're already planning our next visit!!!

We went to the Grumpy Mole for dinner. We have been several times but not for a while. We weren't disappointed. Great food and excellent service. Even though they were busy as the warm weather had encouraged more outside diners, we weren't rushed and had a lovely meal. Calamari, scallops, Stroganoff and Steak and Ale Pie which was on the specials menu, all very delicious.

Both our meals were served barely warm let alone hot! Unforgivable, spoiled otherwise reasonable not good food. Overflowing refuse containers directly at the main entrance to the restaurant set the scene , AVOID .

I've visited this cafe many times over the years. The staff are always helpful and friendly, there is a good range of cakes and meals reasonably priced, with gluten free and veg options, and the coffee is lovely and hot! It's a pleasant place to sit looking out over the vegetation!

Great place. Lovely food and service was amazing. Tom was fabulous. A really lovely welcoming place to eat. Thank you for a great night.
