Stopped in for a drink today after touring the Red Brick Market. The staff on shift were amazing. They didn't have any drinks for kids really so they made 2 blackcurrant juice using the mixers. No charge! They said it's just water really, how amazing is that? My daughter wanted a birthday cocktail (age 8) I asked for a mocktail and they said we don't have them, but I'll knock something up. It was lovely as well! The bar was clean and the atmosphere was good. It was £12 for a Guinness, a half Stella, the mocktail and a coke. Brilliant. I'd visit again in the future.

My girlfriend asked for a medium strawberry acai with lemonade but no ice and the drink cost £5.60 already for this price you could expect them to fill the cup, instead served a small cup half full, i asked if they could fill it up with lemonade as every other starbucks has done. I had to ask for a refund as i wasnt paying £5.60 for a half drink, we sat down to enjoy some time together and we overheard us them attempt to whisper about me asking for a refund by one staff member to the other and i found this to rude, when all i asked was a simple request. Any other starbucks or even staff have been much more accommodating. Wont be returning and ask people to go to the other starbucks in town centre.

I visited for lunch ahead of a football match at Goodison Park which is only a minute’s walk away. I had the large breakfast which was excellent.

Mulligans is now called Lanigans Pub ,my twin brother Stephen and I were here in early February ,it's a nice bar ,cosy ,a cool looking serving bar ,great decor and furnishings ,big screens to enjoy the sport and lots of seating options. We enjoyed pints of Madri beer in here which were served freezing cold ,it was just so good enjoying such delicious beers in such a great pub served by staff who are genuinely pleased to see you in their pub ,it's easy to locate along Wood Street and well worth checking out if you're in the area.

We ordered a giant cookie on the second of feb to be collected on the 17th feb giving plenty time for it to be made. The day before pick up I ran the branch and asked about the cookie to which the lady rudely replied she hadn’t got an order and that there was lots of staff so it had gone missing, she didn’t even think to ask what was my order and instead told me to ring back at 4:30pm as she was extremely busy. As this cookie was for an event I didn’t want to risk not getting it and with the employee not really listening and being rude on the phone I went down to speak to her to my Surprise (not) she was not busy instead on her phone with her headphones in I spoke about the issue with the missing order and showed her my receipt to which she replied (I believe you) well I’m glad she did as she took my order on the 2nd. She never apologised or even acknowledges her mistake instead was extremely rude. I’m sure this isn’t the time of person Millie’s wants as the front for there business because I will not be going back and I’m sure others will feel the same if they have to deal with the same rudeness and inconvenience.

Great atmosphere, but there is one thing to be aware of trouble stirrer Mark Scott, regular punter at this pub, he’s a construction worker at Laing O’Rourke.

This is a decent Starbucks. When I visited, it was nice and quiet as there were plenty of tables available. It was also a decent place to get a bit of work done if you were a University student and prices were very reasonable. Your food and drink offering was your average Starbucks, so no surprises there. The only thing which baffled me is that the lady on the till asked if I was "staff, student, or visitor". This I thought was a bit cryptic because it wasn't immediately obvious which category I fell into. Also, what was the point of the question? Surely it doesn't matter who your customer is? Overall, no issues with this Starbucks so I'd definitely pay them a visit if you're in the James Parsons building for whatever reason.

As a regular customer of this independent business where we are usually happy with the food and service, we were quite disappointed today that my son was unable to eat his pancakes as they were too hard. I did express this to the staff but unfortunately no alternatives were offered and we also had to pay full price for the food that wasn't even eaten. He was only able to eat the small pot of ice cream that accompanied the meal and needed to get food elsewhere for him after our visit. His pancake also didn't come with sprinkles as stated on the menu and we were informed as his food came out the ice cream flavour he ordered was out of stock too and only chocolate was available. Didn't feel valued as a customer especially when we come here relatively often. A real shame.
