Stopped in for a drink today after touring the Red Brick Market. The staff on shift were amazing. They didn't have any drinks for kids really so they made 2 blackcurrant juice using the mixers. No charge! They said it's just water really, how amazing is that? My daughter wanted a birthday cocktail (age 8) I asked for a mocktail and they said we don't have them, but I'll knock something up. It was lovely as well! The bar was clean and the atmosphere was good. It was £12 for a Guinness, a half Stella, the mocktail and a coke. Brilliant. I'd visit again in the future.

Lovely greeting on arrival, staff really helpful, sorted our table and we got drinks, we then ordered food, chips tasty and hot burgers cold and no cutlery or condiments offered, we ate because we were starving but would never eat here again or recommend, no staff came to check how our meal was, really disappointed

Excellent bar with top deck terrace. Fantastic for private occasions with views of the Baltic Triangle. Very pleasant staff, especially Jacob. Excellent place to see what is going on in all the other bars. I was there for private party but it was great fun. Walk, talk, mingle, great people, even the ubiquitous area security were helpful..

Cain's Brewery is my "local" with a wide range of venues serving food as well as ale. Dock Leaf does a lovely if expensive pint of Guinness. But £7.50 for three buffalo wings is a bit rich See photo Better going to the Botanical garden where buffalo wings are bigger fatter & cheaper

Walking around the wonderful Cains Brewery Village my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into Dock Leaf and what a great visit. A really great looking restaurant/ bar, eclectic decor and furnishings and an upstairs heated terrace and plenty of seating options spread throughout Dock Leaf both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Cains Brewery Village. We were here on a Thursday afternoon, we track and traced and sat outside were we ordered a pale ale each ,service in excellent condition, we just kicked back, chilled out and planned for the day ahead while sipping our pale ale's. My pale ale was outstanding, such an understated beer style, hoppy, hints of toffee, a delicious aroma, a totally refreshing brew on a hot afternoon served by staff who are genuinely pleased to see you in their establishment. We really enjoyed our pale ale's in Dock Leaf, only stayed for the one each before we moved on but we had a wonderful time and when I revisit Cains Brewery Village again will again drop into here. A wonderful restaurant/ bar, most definitely well worth checking out if you're planning on visiting Cains Brewery Village.

Before our country was closed down by the coronavirus visited upon us my twin brother Stephen and I headed to the wonderful Cains Brewery Village, been here several times ,love the pubs, bars and restaurants in this area but this was my first time in Dock Leaf. I loved the interior, eclectic decor and furnishings, a cool former brewery building that looks superb, theres lots of seating, its just a very cool restaurant and bar. We were here on a Saturday afternoon, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff, as we had just ate we were only here for beers, we chose an ipa style beer, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great venue we were in. My ipa was just so good,a crisp, well balanced ipa with a big hit of hops ,very easy to drink,a beer style both myself and my twin brother Stephen are particularly fond of, on this visit I cannot really comment on the meals as we were here only for beers but I must say that the meals leaving the kitchen looked and smelt delicious and on our next visit we are most certainly going to sample their meal menu. We both really enjoyed our beers in here and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit we were totally impressed with this restaurant and bar. Dock Leaf is easy to locate along Stanhope Street, in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants. A wonderful restaurant and bar, most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area.

Just popped along here this morning for a coffee, I passed a member of staff and asked if we could sit upstairs, she simply said 'yes' so we went up and then sat around for 15 minutes to be ignored. A few members of staff saw us sitting there but no one attempted to serve us. We left and one of the members of staff from behind the bar said 'see you soon' - I don't think so. No signs to say order at the bar.

We ordered a giant cookie on the second of feb to be collected on the 17th feb giving plenty time for it to be made. The day before pick up I ran the branch and asked about the cookie to which the lady rudely replied she hadn’t got an order and that there was lots of staff so it had gone missing, she didn’t even think to ask what was my order and instead told me to ring back at 4:30pm as she was extremely busy. As this cookie was for an event I didn’t want to risk not getting it and with the employee not really listening and being rude on the phone I went down to speak to her to my Surprise (not) she was not busy instead on her phone with her headphones in I spoke about the issue with the missing order and showed her my receipt to which she replied (I believe you) well I’m glad she did as she took my order on the 2nd. She never apologised or even acknowledges her mistake instead was extremely rude. I’m sure this isn’t the time of person Millie’s wants as the front for there business because I will not be going back and I’m sure others will feel the same if they have to deal with the same rudeness and inconvenience.

My girlfriend asked for a medium strawberry acai with lemonade but no ice and the drink cost £5.60 already for this price you could expect them to fill the cup, instead served a small cup half full, i asked if they could fill it up with lemonade as every other starbucks has done. I had to ask for a refund as i wasnt paying £5.60 for a half drink, we sat down to enjoy some time together and we overheard us them attempt to whisper about me asking for a refund by one staff member to the other and i found this to rude, when all i asked was a simple request. Any other starbucks or even staff have been much more accommodating. Wont be returning and ask people to go to the other starbucks in town centre.
