Awful landlady working behind the bar. I came in with a few friends talking and she shouted at us to shut up, asking us if we're children. Of course we replied no, as were all mid 20's. With that reply, she told us to all leave, telling us she refused to serve us. We we're respectful and weren't talking at an inexcusable volume. We were simply carrying on our conversation from the last place we came from. Would absolutely not recommend this pub, as per our experience, you simply cannot have a conversation without being penalised for it. Awful service, awful atmosphere and awful staff.

Visited this place one night just before closing with a bunch of mates. We couldn't have been made feel more welcome. The girl behind the bar was a star. Pints were lovely cask beers.. they Let us take photos behind bar and gave great stories about the heritage of the bar...its not much too look at outside, but if you pass it and don't go in for one, you'll regret it forever. Definitely planning a visit back

Proper old school Liverpool boozer, used to visit all the time as a fresh faced 18 year old, finally able to enjoy a pint and used to love the place. Visited again recently as the Mrs works in the area and felt like surprising her but the lure of ye cracke proved stronger than I had anticipated and it has lost nothing of what used to make it such a great place to be... Sound staff, good atmosphere. Would recommend for a pint or two to anyone.

That was even better than I imagined. The staff were so welcoming and showed me all the different Beatles/John Lennon momentos. Then the bartender gave me recs in the city and told me all about the history of the bar. Living in Philly, where we don't exactly love tourists, I was expecting that sort of experience. But it wasn't at all. Everyone was so lovely. And I got chills sitting at John's favorite bar underneath his portrait. You simply have to go if you're visiting. It's so worth it. I'm glad I started my trip at Ye Cracke!

This is a pub I've always wanted to visit after reading an article about it in a magazine. Great atmosphere. It's the perfect way to reminisce about the past. However, what I felt when I actually visited was that even without John, this is an active pub that is loved by the locals. Under the big tree in the garden, red-faced people were enjoying conversation with drinks in hand...I really thought it was a nice place.

What a special place. And a fitting name. Seems to be a neighborhood institution that nearly blends in like any house save the fact that there are a few beer signs out front. Seemingly appears out of nowhere and is quite a change from the busy shops and pubs near the Philharmonic. Place looked empty but the front door was unlocked and a few others came in not long after. Some unique ales being served and meant to be enjoyed in this unique pub.

Visited the pub after trying to visit for a long time, as it’s known and as a real ale pub. Only had two craft beers on which was a bit disappointing. Gin wise they had gin, or pink gin, which again is a bit unusual fir a 2024 pub. The vibe is good and the people inside were ace, but beer wise on my visit, it was ok.

Really excellent establishment, cosy in winter great outdoor space in summer. Always a very warm welcome and a wide selection of real ales on hand pump kept in tip top condition. Probably best avoided late afternoon on the last Sunday before Christmas though... it tends to be rather rowdy. Part of the world famous Pirate Map Pub Crawl and once a regular haunt of John Lennon (The Beatles). The beer garden is a sun trap with a views of the Anglican cathedral. Again another hidden backstreet gem which is a must to visit. The picture 📸 on the back wall was hand painted day by day, week by week by John Lennon's Art Teatcher. I have visited this pub several times and enjoyed the visit however on my most recent visit, i had my dog with me, I had in advance of this visit done a search for dog friendly pubs, ye cracke appeared on the list. it is not dog friendly , I get that now ,there is a sign inside the pub telling you but a very vocal woman sitting inside the bar was very quick to shout at me the pub's position. When I pointed out that google listed it as dog friendly I was treated in a rude way, I would go as far as to say the pub (on this occasion) was not people friendly. Now this might have just been a very rude customer but she claimed to be management. She had a go about me having a Scottish accent. (Xenophobia??!!) In summary don't take a dog here but if you go without pets you will be made most welcome Write that on your review was the last words I heard as I went in search of a dog friendly pub

Mahtava paikka, jossa pieni määrä erikoisoluita. Paikan sydän on yllättäen jalkapallo ja kannatus vahvasti Evertoniin päin. Kuitenkin muutkin tervetulleita. 👌

We ordered a giant cookie on the second of feb to be collected on the 17th feb giving plenty time for it to be made. The day before pick up I ran the branch and asked about the cookie to which the lady rudely replied she hadn’t got an order and that there was lots of staff so it had gone missing, she didn’t even think to ask what was my order and instead told me to ring back at 4:30pm as she was extremely busy. As this cookie was for an event I didn’t want to risk not getting it and with the employee not really listening and being rude on the phone I went down to speak to her to my Surprise (not) she was not busy instead on her phone with her headphones in I spoke about the issue with the missing order and showed her my receipt to which she replied (I believe you) well I’m glad she did as she took my order on the 2nd. She never apologised or even acknowledges her mistake instead was extremely rude. I’m sure this isn’t the time of person Millie’s wants as the front for there business because I will not be going back and I’m sure others will feel the same if they have to deal with the same rudeness and inconvenience.

My girlfriend asked for a medium strawberry acai with lemonade but no ice and the drink cost £5.60 already for this price you could expect them to fill the cup, instead served a small cup half full, i asked if they could fill it up with lemonade as every other starbucks has done. I had to ask for a refund as i wasnt paying £5.60 for a half drink, we sat down to enjoy some time together and we overheard us them attempt to whisper about me asking for a refund by one staff member to the other and i found this to rude, when all i asked was a simple request. Any other starbucks or even staff have been much more accommodating. Wont be returning and ask people to go to the other starbucks in town centre.
