Usually love a Starbucks but this branch is awful. Staff are miserable and not helpful. The last three times I have been in there for breakfast (very early), there are no signature breakfast sandwiches on the half empty shelves so the last time I just left with the intention of never returning. There are plenty of other business in Wilmslow that I would rather give my money to.

I am a bit bemused that a business on a railway station could be so unprofessionaly run. The staff behind the counter could not get people's order correct. There was a lack of communication. The customer service was lacking there was even a hint of rudeness in the to e of voice by the person serving. When .I wet to collect my drink she said in a abrupt voice that's not yours. I think retraining.is needed here.

What an experience, trying to find a table cleared from the previous customers, when ask by one the staff if she could clear the table she said I feel dizzy and I might be going home soon. Moving on ask for sugar and milk the same staff member said we don’t have any, no cups, the area around the coffee and tea area was filthy, eventually the lady on the till went into the shop and brought back paper cups (maybe the lady on the dish washer was off sick). Back to breakfast I know now why the call it all day breakfast it took about 45 mins to arrive, my wife’s plate looked quite qood but mine was a bit different I had about 40 beans on my plate my wife had hers in a bowl, her egg looked good, mine was only half an egg rock hard yoke and was probably put in the pan when we ordered, said to the wife at the time I think this egg is a yoke😁 Price was reasonable, Extra staff needed those working were running around like headless chickens, get a cook that can fry an egg. Morrisons you can do better not saying I won’t return but you need to improve immensely.

Just came across this trip advisor page for Philpott's on Booths park in Knutsford and thought I would add my review as I feel like things have changed. I have been working on Booths park for about 8 months now and have visited a few times here for breakfast and lunch and yes I would agree with some of the past reviews....BUT I visited again (twice) last week and was very much surprised at what I found. Not only did the servery area look cleaner and less cluttered, the food/deli looked fresh and appetizing, and something I have not seen before on the counter - ROAST BEEF and not only that, perfectly cooked roast beef. I also had an amazing carrot & coriander soup which was vibrant and tasty, on my returning visit, again the food was looking and tasting a lot more desirable than previous visits. The staff seem to be a lot happier and chatty with the customers, so I'm a little unsure as to whether there has been a change onsite in the past few weeks but things are definitely on the up at Philpott's and I would recommend giving it another try if you haven't already done so in a while. Yes the prices are a little high, but we are talking about fresh food here (or should I say fresh food NOW) and also lets be honest we all work in business's here, and we all understand the toll that inflation is having on food prices and overheads and that is not the fault of the staff members on site. I for one will definitely be returning more often to enjoy some lovely freshly made deli sandwiches and soups, along with the cheery banter from the staff.

Ideal cafe for before or after a class/swimming. I have always found the tables etc to be clean. Staff are always pleasant.

Clinical, uncomfortable. Feels like it’s trying to be a chain or something. Food distinctly home made - as in you could do it yourself. Also, certainly the Saturday morning staff using choice language. Will not be back!
