What a great place! The breakfast was excellent, the decor beautifully done with a mixture of themes and all the staff were fabulously cheerful and helpful. What’s not to like? Great to see an independent doing so well in these days of multinational chains. They have lots of regulars coming in and not surprising! Highly recommended! Thank you to you all.

Very nice venue and good selection of cakes but the menu for savoury dishes is limited especially if you're gluten free. So I had a salad which was covered in sugar coated nuts which is not my taste but I guess would appeal to some. Unfortunately the salad had a lot of sand in it which makes me wonder if they didn't wash it.

Love this place fantastic value for money breakfast, friendly staff and a lovely brew!!!! Keep up the great work!!!! I love the fact they haven't lost the "builders breakfast" with the new look interior. I hate when places try go too upmarket with an old British fry up!!! See you again soon

Im new to congleton and as a outsider i was made to feel welcome in this establishment, great choice of beers and the stonebaked pizzas are out of this world

The Ultimate ice cream sundae was spectacular (kid's exact words) . Very friendly staff , a nice atmosphere overall

I came to astbury mere with my partner for the first time, we had a lovely walk, and discovered this lovely little café, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The icecream was delicious. Thank you

Update Oct 24 ...No longer serves food. Real shame 😔 Nice, traditional "olde worlde" pub with lots of character. Very good value food menu for £7, plus other options. Friendly helpful staff

We came for our breakfast and as expected we both enjoyed it. Wetherspoons food is always good which is why we keep using them. We both had different breakfasts but both loved them as usual. It's a pleasure to have it made for you. Well done guys, we will be back I'm sure.

Lovely pub. Polite staff. But if you’ve travelled from Scotland like we did, make sure you have only English pound notes as the don’t accept Scottish
