A nice small cafe serving excellent coffee/tea and a handsome scone. The tables are arranged in an open square room in a functional way so it couldn't be described as cosy. But it's a pleasant enough place with very friendly staff. A little off the beaten track for Whitley Bay centre, but if you're in the area, it's worth stopping off.

Almost felt cheeky to ask so late (nigh on 7 on a Thursday evening ) if a table for two was available & was assured that they could squeeze us in at the window seating if we were there before 8. We managed to get there around 7.30 and we (my daughter and I) were given a table. Bonus! Drinks order quickly taken & food order shortly after. Mocktail & Cocktail duly arrived and, after a short wait, the food too. We’ve been to Omni many times, for brunch, lunch & dinner, and it is always memorable…It’s very chilled, limited menu maybe but when everything is delicious then that’s fine by me. Ribs to die for, slow cooked beef shin curry, ginger rice & Asian slaw were demolished. In fact, even with two big appetites, we couldn’t eat it all so a little box was required to take home the rest. Many, many thanks to the brilliant staff; so accommodating, so intuitive & so caring. All adding up to a perfect evening. I love that such a great restaurant is five minutes from our house & look forward to visiting again….soon…very soon

Run don’t walk to Foda in Monkseaton. Sarah had the French toast of the day which was brûléed figs, crème fraiche, walnuts, honey and cinnamon toast and Grilled lemon. It was unreal. I had steak and eggs with an extra sausage. The drinks were beautiful too with an option for some CBD in it too. Best food I’ve had in a long time

They’re charged me £18 for a large fish and chips, it was possible one of the smallest fish and chips iv ever had. I was still hungry after it, chips were nice, but I won’t be going back. I understand why people go to the willow instead, you pay for the quality & quantity.
