Came on a Tuesday night. Stylish and healthy says the blurb...basically what we found was a place serving weatherspoons quality meals for £18 a pop, grumpy service and overly loud (bad) music geared to encourage people to dance on the dance floor (despite the fact no one was). This is a place to get drunk and (maybe later in the night) dance. It's not a place to eat.

Hello, I’ve been a client at this caffe and me and my family loved it. Such a shame it’s closed down now. I wanted to check if you open a cafe somewhere else because we would love to visit it .Thank you 😊

We ate in the upstairs section called 'The Grill'. Lovely ambiance, reasonable service. Very limited menu, Our table was booked for 4.30, by which time they'd already sold out of 3 of their main courses, & 1 dessert. They don't serve sparkling water, and when asked whether it as possible to somehow purchase some draft beer from the bar downstairs, they were reluctant, bordering on rude. The Crab starter was way too huge for 1 person, but the leek pie was more like a small cupcake. The lamb with mint actually had no mint at all. The side orders were very limited too. This restaurant was overpriced, and a dissatpointment.

I haven't eaten here yet, but I come here and enjoy my coffee just for the atmosphere alone. The staff are welcoming, it is a great place to unwind mentally in the pretty surroundings - both inside and to sit out and watch the world go by, such a change from the chaotic shopping areas of London, so this cafe offers an oasis of calm.

I have used this cafe for many years and since the proprietor Ali left it seems to have lost it’s way as on a number of occasions they are advertising dishes on their menu which they no longer prepare or have the ingredients for, therefor they need to update the menu to reflect what is currently available. I have also noticed that the sauce bottles they use have broken lids and could potentially be unhygienic.. A tweak here and there would benefit.

After going to the wonderful Control room B for cocktails we had some pancakes then wandered around the pop up exhibit about Battersea Power station. We were gasping for a coffee and we came upon a quaint little van selling coffee. It was over priced and revolting. Such a shame as all the branding and ethos look great. Sorry, it’s not nice coffee. Maybe spend less on the marketing and more on good quality beans.

A complete rip-off, ordered a cold brew and the so called barista just opened a can and poured it over ice. £5.80 for that. Shame on you. Please don't fall for the best coffee in town sign, avoid like plague.

We never actually visited Insomnia Coffee due to the state of the tables. This café, I initially thought, was a great selling point of this PRIMARK; let's say your a couple and your partner likes retail therapy and you don't, you can indulge yourself in the café whilst your partner shops. Perfect! Er...no! This café was absolutely swimming in litter, to the point that the vast majority of vacant tables had been invaded by dirty coffee cups and packaging! This was so unenticing that we just walked out and went somewhere else! Evidently, the staff were not keeping on top of their basic cleaning regime, which is disappointing in a post-COVID world. The most ironic thing is that this place is called 'Insomnia Coffee', because if I was the manager, in charge of a café with so much litter scattered about, I would have insomnia too as I wouldn't be able to sleep at night! I can't comment on the quality of food/drink, hence why I am not keen to give this place 1 or 2*, but visually, this place needs a health inspector, not paying customers! Eat elsewhere!

Great British food, especially the beef stew! We always visit Ness when in Crystal Palace. Always made very welcome.

Good little pub with a great vibe. Awesome burgers by Filthy Buns, I highly recommend the Smokin Gun. Every burger on the menu has a vegan version which was good as we had two vegans in our group.

Reasonable food and prices. Typical greasy spoons menu. Staff were miserable though so didn't feel very comfortable or welcome.

We came in here for coffee and cake. The coffee is really very good for a non specialist cafe and the battenburg gateaux was very good too.

The latte I had today was very good and sold in a nice environment. The baked goods looked good but my willpower held and I never tried any.

Late morning I went in to have coffee. The manager Erol is super nice. The coffee was delicious and made to my exact taste. It was also nice to chat.
