Costs £1 just to get in the door. I had a buffalo bird burger (£13) which comes with chips from a stand called ‘yardbirds’. Asked to upgrade chips to cheesy chips (which were £1 more than normal chips on the menu) and was charged £19! Pointed out that I only wanted to upgrade the chips and the guy said he’d misheard me and took his headphones off. Then charged me £17.50! He drowned the burger in buffalo sauce and the chicken was precooked. Was just a soggy mess. Couldn’t eat it all as the amount of sauce made me feel ill. My partner had a burger and chips from a stand called ‘brisk n bone’. He paid £13 and was disappointed with the quality for the price. None of the stands sell drinks so we had to queue up at the bar. A Diet Coke in a plastic cup cost £4.80! That does include £1 for the reusable cup. Seating at the tables was just wooden benches. In summary, we paid £42.10 for 2 portions of burger, chips and Diet Coke, that weren’t that nice. No entertainment, just some arcade games, which would have cost more. If you want to make a night of this, you’ll need to take out a bank loan

We booked a table for 10, and paid £5 deposit per person just for the table. Unfortunately only 7 of us were able to make it, but they charged us £15 for the people who couldn’t attend. This felt mean, and made no business sense. The place was empty and the 7 seven of us who are local are unlikely to return. They may have taken an extra £15 but will get no future business. It was cold in the restaurant, I kept my coat on, and the food was nothing to write home about.

I was man handled twice by the DJ and also the 'manager' just for dancing near the DJ booth. I have marks on my arm where I was manhandled and will be reporting this incident to the police: not once was I asked to leave or anything. Just literally thrown out. They also both looked extremely intoxicated, I have a video which was recorded just after the assault in which, even their bouncer looked concerned that they had acted way over the top . I will be using this as evidence

My wife and I decided to take our Granddaughter to Thorntons. At the front door we were asked if we were going to the shop or cafe area. We said we cafe and they asked us to complete the Covid tracking details. The young lady then said we can go straight through and take a seat. At this stage we were still wearing our face coverings. We were almost seated when a lady approached us and asked us what we were doing. As we were in the cafe area we removed our face covering. She then demanded we walk around the main table to the front. This was very embarrassing as we had to walk in a circle back to the front of the cafe. Although we were in a cafe we were forced to put on our face covering or we will not be seated. This lady was so loud that most of the tables turned to see what was going on. We then decided to leave and go elsewhere. This was no way to treat customers. We did explain that the young lady at the door said we could take a seat but this lady just kept on shouting and demanding that we walk all the way around and go wait and the front entrance. While we always wear face covering and always follow government guidelines it seems like the staff are clueless. Embarrassing us by shouting and treating us like children is totally unacceptable.

Was shopping with my Nan and she sent me in to look around and by sum shoes. The manger was arguing with someone about shoes and stealing. After a bit I chose some shoes and decided to look at de music when she looked at me and stopped her shouting and come over to me. She went to the door and on the way back said to me I better pay for those. I was that surprised I dropped my stuff. Just paid and left. Not going back right
