Pre-ordered a local butchers delivery and paid online. Transaction cleared fine my end , their online card system (STRIPE) did not release money in time to butcher, therefore my order was declined. Have been chasing my refund since April. Have had lots of excuses, apologies, promises of a refund which I am still yet to recieve. Excuses including -receptionist doesn't work weekends, they inputted my bank details in wrong for refund, refunds take so many days to clear under their new banking systems. *under a new company now CW Enterprises, they are seeing my messages, emails and not replying. Ive asked Get My Food to sort, who have responded to emails having seen, but they can't do anything their end and the hold up is with the new company apparently which is ran by secret partners AVOID .... Dodgy , lots of unhappy customers not receiving orders , orders late etc Not much hope for a refund ... but I'll just make sure my reviews of this company are known far and wide

Booked by mistake - hotel was completely unreasonable when I requested a refund for my mistake. Was even willing to meet half way and have only a partial refund to accommodate their inconvenience… but “computer said no!”

We held our Wedding Anniversary party at La Luna on 16th Dec and everything that was promised did not come to fruition! When we booked it we were told children could stay until 10pm - which we put on the invites - to then have them ushered out the door at 9pm, including my own, caused a lot of upset among people especially the ones who had travelled hours to be with us! We were promised a DJ on the night, again I was told while setting up during the day that this wasn't happening - hardly giving me a chance to sort anything out! Luckily the band stepped in and filled the gaps! I was told early on the day of the party that it would finish at 2am then at 11.45pm told us it was closing in 15mins!!! The lights went on at midnight and we're all told to leave. We were allowed to have food then when that appeared it supposedly wasn't allowed to be eaten out of the side room - again, nothing had ever been said on that. There should have been a doorman on from 6pm - we were asked for a Guestlist for this...maybe 8/8.30 they appeared, people were let in that were not invited to the party and he was happily chomping on his McD's while on the door or on his phone! And the drinks were diabolical, the draught beer & soft drinks were completely flat making people buy everything in bottles which I'm sure was great for profit but not so much for the guests! And with only Donna serving it took a while to even get that! It was just a complete embarrassment for us on what was supposed to be a really nice party! Thank god we had the band as that was the only positive I can pull from it, and we went back to the hotel and drank until the early hours so the party didn't end at midnight. I will say Donna (manager) was great, I really felt for her but she did everything she could for us. But everything else was such a huge disappointment, we couldn't have been more gutted with the venue!

My Wife and I visited this place today . We wanted two coffees and a piece of cheesecake . We saw a very large piece of cheescake in the cabinet , priced at £5.60. The piece was far too large for one person ,(we are 71 and 74 years old respectively) and so I asked the lady to please cut it into two . SHE REFUSED ! I therefore asked for a knife to cut it myself . Again SHE REFUSED ! She told us that , not only could we not cut it , but aslo that we couldn't eat it inside the cafe . Given that they themselves had made the cheescake , and that it was in THEIR display cabinet , one can only wonder as to why . They must be doing a roaring trade to be able turn money away like that . Needless to say , we left swiftly , and spent our £14 very close by , where they did serve us cheesecake , and where the attitude towards customers was far more friendly !!!!!!

My Wife and I visited this place today . We wanted coffee and a piece of cheesecake . We found in the display cabinet , already cut, a very large piece of cheesecake at £5.60 . As the piece was much too large for one person (we are 74 and 71 respectively), we asked the lady to please cut it in half . SHE REFUSED ! I therefore asked for a knife to do it myself , and again she refused , saying that not only could we not do that , but also, that we could NOT eat the cheesecake inside the cafe anyway . Why would this be , given that THEY were selling the cheesecake and we were inside their cafe ? They really must be doing well to turn away custom . We found her attitude neither friendly , nor business like . Needless to say , we walked out , and spent our £14 very close by .
