Great brunch, and very accomodating staff. Food was good and bottomless brunch drinks were great and server quick to provide drinks. Also free shots were fantastic.

Lovely, clean establishment. Ordered 3 x Chicken + Beef pattie burgers and fries. One of the best burger meals I have enjoyed between Bristol and London. Friendly, curteous service by young gent at the till. Highly recommended by happy customer. Issy

Another amazing visit yesterday, you know this place is good when you do an hour and a bit round trip on your day off just to visit! I had beef taco and nachos and my partner had a burrito all the food was delicious and full of flavour! Please don’t ever close we love you Cartel Cantina!

I had a great time, good atmosphere and tasty food, I'd definitely go again. Our waitress called Rosie was really polite and came over often to check on us, which was much appreciated.

The food was absolutely stunning and the staff are lovely. Would recommend this place to everyone!

Really enjoyed my first time here! The squash tostado was lovely and the beef tacos delicious. The star of the show was the corn side! Only reason it wasn’t 5 stars is the lack of any hot sauces or just available condiments, I was given an INCREDIBLE mango habanero sauce on request but wasn’t told it would cost. Also, the margaritas weren’t great. We raised it and were told it’s pre mixed and given a discount - So super appreciate that! The service is amazing. The team were all super friendly and welcoming. I’m told the burritos are life changing so cannot wait to come back and try,

Had the beef brisket fajita for a late lunch. It was amazing! So tasty & flavoursome. Great fillings with the the rice & beans. The beef was so tender. Very filling and satisfying. Loved it and will be back

I cook and eat plenty of Mexican food. It’s my favourite cuisine. Saw the van at the harbour side market today and ordered two tacos with what was advertised as slow cooked confit beef. What I received was over cooked, chunks of dice sized cheap cut steak that had been fried. The meat was tough, flavourless and grisly. Cheap n nasty. The taco itself had a cheap sauce on top with a tiny bit of lettuce and a piece of spring onion. Slow cooked meat is a key component of Mexican cuisine but this was dog food. I asked the server how it was slow cooked. He looked a bit blank and said it was a new recipe! Yeh, ok! My experience was an insult to Mexican food and not what was advertised. I wished I’d gone to the vegan taco stall next door.

Love this restaurant! I'm from Texas and it is hands down the best traditional Mexican you can get in Bristol. Staff are always lovely.

Honestly never order or go to this shop 3 time ordering and they have obviously not been bothered they didn’t give any of my order not a single thing was right I had 2 things I ordered 50 quids worth of stuff 😔

My wife and I regularly go for breakfast and coffee here when we need a treat. The service and food and drink here are always excellent, as they were on this occassion. So much better than some of the other, "trendy" joints on North Street.
