Vine aquí el mes pasado con mi amigo para cenar por primera vez y es un lugar tan lindo. Tenemos la jarra de compartir nachos y margarita - ¡tan buena! 🍸🍋‍��� Puedes probar el tequila en la margarita ;p En cuanto a mí, tengo los tacos de pollo 🌮 y wow! Estaban llenos y el sabor era tan bueno y me quedé gratamente impresionado y sorprendido con la patada. De hecho, tuvo una buena patada. Muy sabroso y muy jugoso. Mi amigo consiguió las quesadillas de pollo y eso se veía tan bien. Ella estaba muy contento con él y me recomendó el lugar. No puedo recomendarlo lo suficiente. Los tamaños de las porciones son tan buenos! y la decoración del lugar. Es pintoresco y acogedor.

Los mejores tacos fuera de México. Deliciosas combinaciones de sabores, personal atento - en general una gran experiencia - recomiendo ir aquí!

No puedo recomendar Chido Wey más para la auténtica comida mexicana cuando en el área de Bristol! Después de hacer un montón de investigación sobre dónde comer en Bristol, Chido Wey fue mencionado repetidamente como un buen lugar, así que reservé una mesa para mi mamá y yo el jueves por la noche. Íbamos a ver un concierto más tarde esa noche, así que reservamos una mesa temprano por la noche y nos alegramos de ver a un montón de otras personas cenando en el restaurante cuando llegamos. A la llegada, el ambiente del restaurante era fantástico, con una decoración peculiar, bonitas zonas de estar y un servidor muy amable. Nos mostraron a nuestra mesa y revisamos el menú. El servidor vino a tomar una orden de bebidas y preguntó si era nuestra primera vez en Chido Wey. Dijimos que sí y nos preguntó si queríamos que nos hablara a través del menú y nos explicara qué era qué. Se abrió camino a través del menú y nos habló de sus recomendaciones personales, así como de los sabores más frecuentes en cada plato. Como mamá y yo no estábamos 100% seguros de lo que queríamos, ambos encontramos esto muy útil y nos alegramos de que el servidor fuera capaz de hacer esto por nosotros. Ambos optamos por el burrito Mother Choriza y estaba absolutamente delicioso y tenía tanto sabor! La porción era grande, e hicimos la elección correcta al no tener opción de titular o laterales adicionales, pero ambos pudimos terminar el burrito. Fui a tomar un cóctel de piñata y mamá tomó el cóctel de mojito durazno y ambos fueron muy refrescantes y se llevaron a nuestra mesa rápidamente. Realmente recomendaría Chido Wey para un ambiente de comedor casual y comida con sabores sobresalientes : )

Comí la comida más salada que he tenido en una pequeña mesa tambaleante fuera de los baños, mientras el personal nos alcanzaba para cubiertos y bebidas. Experiencia no diferente a cenar en una mesa de camping plegable en la parte trasera de una furgoneta.

Gran bienvenida del personal que nos apretó como un paseo, un servicio fantástico y comida verdaderamente deliciosa - bien vale la pena una visita.

Mi esposa y yo decidimos pasar a almorzar ya que teníamos el día libre y habíamos querido visitar desde que abrió. En primer lugar, la comida estaba absolutamente agrietada. La salsa de las chimichangas estaba deliciosa y ahumada. Los tacos estaban geniales, el cerdo era excelente y todos ellos rellenos de rellenos. En segundo lugar, el personal era brillante. La jovencita estuvo trabajando por su cuenta durante un tiempo y estuvo genial. Ella era un borrón de actividad, pero se aseguró de que todos estuvieran contentos. Se podía decir que el personal ama este lugar como un colega también parecía ayudar, a pesar de que era su día libre. El 100 % volverá a visitar

Deliciosos burritos cocinados rápidamente - tamaño de porción muy generoso. Gran ambiente - busto y burbuja , cócteles a un precio razonable y equipo amable

Wow! Nuestro taxista nos dijo lo popular que era este restaurante, y no me sorprende. Puede ser poco, pero la comida y el servicio es poderoso. Nuestra comida era increíble - tan sabroso y muy lleno! El mejor mexicano que he tenido. Los cócteles son preciosos y muy generosos. En general, una experiencia fabulosa - muy recomendable.

Chido Wey me fue recomendado por uno de los empleados del Lido. Llamamos a Chido Wey de camino a casa durante una tarde de sábado. El lugar ya estaba lleno y logramos sacar una mesa afuera. Igual de bien. Los tacos eran preciosos y rellenos de mucha carne hermosa. Si te gusta tu comida picante, la salsa picante de habanero y piña fue una adición sublime y adictiva. Regado con un par de Mitchelados, Chido Wey proporcionó una clase magistral de Tacos.

Realmente disfruté de mi primera vez aquí! El tostado de calabaza era precioso y los tacos de carne deliciosos. ¡La estrella del espectáculo fue el maíz! La única razón por la que no eran 5 estrellas es la falta de salsas picantes o simplemente condimentos disponibles, me dieron una salsa habanera de mango INCREÍBLE a pedido, pero no me dijeron que costaría. Además, las margaritas no eran geniales. Lo subimos y nos dijeron que está premezclado y se le dio un descuento - ¡Así que súper aprecio eso! El servicio es increíble. El mejor mexicano en Bristol. Las opciones, particularmente las veganas, son algunas de las mejores que he encontrado. He probado varias de las opciones aquí y nunca me ha decepcionado. Tamaño de porción perfecto, absolutamente delicioso y una gran selección de cócteles para acompañar. Sin duda recomiendo hacer una reserva y probarlo.

I arrived late here on a work trip and I was starving. The place was full on a Monday night and Leanna managed to find me a wee space and provided the best Burrito I’ve ever had.

We enjoyed this place in Bristol! Walked in at 6 pm on a Tuesday night without reservations, but they let us eat outside. Happy hour until 6 also. Our margaritas were great. I got tacos, the corn tortillas were freshly made. Another group member got a burrito, which she also loved. The service was excellent.

Came here to fuel up for a night out and was really overwhelmed by the level of service and all the amazing flavours! We hadnt made a reservation but were met by a lovely server named Tara that was able to accomodate us. She had great rapport and pyt up with my comment about heing brave for wearing a white tshirt when working in hospitality. Really liked being able yo choose the fillings for wither burrito, soft tacos or enchilada and opted to share 2 different fillings im taco & enchiladas which were utterly delicious. Also thought our starter was very generous, even when sharing. Lovely decor, and a wonderful sense of theatre watching the other staff flit about and make cocktails. Was also VERY happy to see aome film favourites on the cocktail menu. Already recommending and WILL be returning

Every time I eat here I come away feeling so uplifted. The food is delicious, the staff are incredible and the atmosphere is just magical. The fact that the restaurant is fully booked most evenings says everything. Despite how busy they are - the staff always go one step beyond. Can’t recommend more highly.

I never tasted tacos so good. I loved that smoky bacon chipotle, with guacamole and all sorts of other delightful flavours lurking in the bowl. And a dried pear and gin cocktail, whoever heard of such a thing? Devine. Freezing cold outside, steamy windows and lots of happy diners laughing and chatting their way through their little bit of Mexico.

was feeling a little bit hungry I was also waiting for a bus at the time my bus was 5 minutes but they cook their food from Fresh which is actually amazing but I didn't have enough time so I opted for some naturals which were absolutely amazing I am not nachos by recommend anybody to try this also the staff amazing friendly and very professional

Incredible tasting burritos (sh*ts all over tortilla), with friendly staff, quick service and cool decor. Walking in we were hit with the smell of fresh lime and authentic Mexican cooking. I’d say the meals were underpriced for what you get. Fresh ingredients, leaving you feeling like you’ve eaten a light, but comfortably filling meal. The bad reviews are laughably petty. Would definitely return - perfect place for lunch/Mexican.

Can't rate the food, only the service. Went on a relatively quiet Wednesday evening at 9 when the restaurant closes at 10. There were many tables available and I was told the kitchen was winding down and I couldn't be seated. 0/10 for customer service.

Return visit for an evening with friends and family from across the UK, and we were not disappointed. Once again we experienced Conor & the teams’ fantastic, warm hospitality, and amazing, beautifully presented food. Can highly recommend everything on the menu, as between us we sampled everything. The Mexican red wine went down very well too!! Great value and wonderful ambience. Can’t wait to return again! (Reservation recommended, especially on the weekend. It was busy!)

On a friend’s recommendation, we booked here while staying in Bristol for one night, and I’m so glad we did. It was happy hour while we were there so we had a couple of cocktails each, which were very good. The nacho starter was unbelievably delicious; so many flavours going on within the bowl. For mains, we had burritos (I had Mother Choriza, my girlfriend had Cubana ) and we both enjoyed every mouthful. Well, I say that; these burritos are so filling that both of us had to take one of the two burritos home cos we were just so stuffed. I think the staff (all of whom were friendly) are used to this because they offered to wrap up the remaining food for us before we asked. Brilliant food, lovely place, glad we went.

Went with my son and his partner as it was his birthday and he wanted a return visit to the place. It was Saturday lunchtime and they were busy - in fact busy all the time we were there - but we got seated outside which was great as it was a lovely sunny day. Although the menu small the food was delicious and freshly made on-site - no warming up pre-prepared dishes here. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The portions were generous so I took home half my burrito which they wrapped up for me - very delicious still later that evening. Would recommend and looking forward to a return visit. I do hope they may extend the menu a little too

Small but extremely tasty menu to close from. All authentic and fresh. Corn starting was amazing . Chose both burritos and tacos for main , great flavours . Beef tacos was the winner , chicken and choose burritos were still very tasty. Definitely worth a visit if you want original Mexican food in casual relaxed setting .

Got all excited after hearing there was a new Mexican restaurant in the centre of Bristol, but started to feel suspicious when I got there and found it poorly lit with deafening music. Suspicions were only heightened when our drinks arrived - Margaritas that were sugary with no taste of tequila anywhere. I could've overlooked all that though if the food had actually been good. The plantain and black bean taco was tasteless, I get that we're in the tailend of winter and stuff like plantain isn't exactly in season but I still don't know how you make something like that taste that little. The chorizo and chicken thigh taco just tasted of richness- if I had eaten it without knowing what it was, Im not sure I wouldve known. The cochinita pibil was also bland, and had none of the tangy richness I associate with it. All of this I could've chalked upto the kitchen having a bad night - it was very busy after all - but the thing turned me from dissappointed to genuinely angry was when the bill came and I had the card reader shoved in my face before I had a chance to read the bill and see that they had added a 10% service charge that hadn't been mentioned anywhere previously. In short, not a fan and won't be going back.
