Waited nearly half an hour to be served, got as far as being asked what drinks we wanted only to not even get them after a further 10 minutes of waiting, literally saw the waiter get the drinks then walked off somewhere? Waited also had a very unprofessional attitude and was borderline rude when telling us “you’ll have to have diet as we’ve ran out of coke.” Very dissatisfied with this first experience and certainly won’t be going again.

Wouldnt recommend, service was seriously slow. Was booked in for 5.45, we waited nearly half hour, our drink order was taken but as the server who took our order made our drinks, placed them somewhere and wondered off after 10 minutes of still not receiving our drinks after being told rudely by the server ‘you’ll have to have Diet as we have ran out of normal’ we decided to leave. Certainly won’t be going back to this one again.

Easily the worst experience in a restaurant I've ever had. Firstly, was waiting at the door for around 15 minutes to even be seated, despite being seen by multiple staff. It wasn't until someone else in the queue approached a member of staff that we actually got seated. We were then waiting a while to order drinks, then when we did, the wrong drink came out so had to be sent back. After our drinks had finally come out, we placed a food order, half of our order wasn't available so we then had to choose something else. As we were waiting for our food, our waiter was involved with some sort of confrontation with a customer, and then stormed out of the restaurant with another member of staff following him out. By this time it had been around 45 minutes since we ordered our food, so I asked another waitress when our food would be out, to which she said "Your waiters gone missing. So I don't really know " and just seemed unwillingly to help in any way. There were also two tables in our area of the restaurant that walked out because they didn't receive any food at all. When our food did finally arrive, my partners food came ten minutes after mine and was cold, so he sent his food back and asked to have it taken off the bill as it just wasn't worth trying to order again at this point. It was also absolutely ridiculous seeing the amount food sitting on the hot plate and not going out to tables. And to top it off, it took the waiter around 30 minutes to come to our table to sort our bill so we could go and try find somewhere else to eat as my partner hadn't eaten.

Absolutely terrible! Don't waste your time. When we arrived, we waited for around 5 minutes before a member of staff came to us, despite many servers looking at us waiting. Once we were finally seated, the table wasnt clean or ready with any drinks menu for us, we waited for another 5 mins. No one came to take our drink order, despite a server going to check on 2 tables right next to us. After another 10 mins of still no service, we decided to leave. The restaurant looked like a ghost town, and the customers were treated like ghosts. The food and drinks are stupidly expensive as well. If you want a good service from a tgi's go to the one up on cribbs causeway.

This restaurant seems to be sadly getting worse which is such a shame as we used to love TGI Fridays. The service was all over the place tonight. They served my 6 year old daughter jalapeños with her salad and the mains came out before the kids drinks. I then had to leave my meal halfway through to get my 2 year old his capri sun that never arrived when we ordered it only to be at the empty bar with 4 members of staff all doing their own thing. Would not recommend to anyone. This restaurant is on the decline big time.

The worst TGIF I have ever been, service is lousy, 1. the restaurant is only half full, with a lot of empty tables, but the staffs took 10 mins to arrange us a table, 2. chairs are dirty, there are bread crumbs and food residues on the gap of thr chair, end up we move to another table ourselves, 3. After we sat down, nobody serve us, we have to get the menus ourself 4. We wait more than 20 mins for a staff to come and take our order, and wait another 60 mins for the food, when we chase the food, the staff only said they are understaff.

I’ve come away from restaurant today completely upset & embarrassed. I complain about the food because the chicken was cold and hard my boyfriend had a buger & was pink inside . The manager come over & said infront of everyone that she dealt with few complaints off me when I’ve come in. & seems I try get discount everytime I come in. Which is not true but if something is wrong or not right of course ur gonna mention it. I’ve only done it once before as food took a long time to come out. So of course gonna mention it and she shouted infront of everyone you’ve done it everytime you come in. Apparently im trying to get discount every time I’m a loyal customer to tgis always using the app etc always coming in etc I’ve walked away embarrassed. Upset in front of my children also. I had the whole customers who were sat next to us laughing their heads off at me. I feel sick to my stomach with how I’ve been treated. Had lots of customers sat by us laughing at us etc. never felt so upset and embarrassed all my life. I took my pasta away in a box but left the chicken on the bowl as was cold and hard. She then said infront of everyone why would u take the pasta away then if it’s horrible the chicken however I didn’t take the chicken away I left it. I took the pasta away. As never said the pasta was the issue. I have anxiety and depression and they’ve made me come away very upset and very down in the dumps I will never return to that one again now. I always use tgi restaurants and I don’t ever hardly complain I’ve done it once before so not sure why manager tried to lie and embarrass me like that.

Appalling place! We went as a group of 8 on a sunday evening hoping to have diner... the place was nearly empty yet the waiter refused to give us a table allowing us to have diner together. Instead he allocated us two round tables with filthy completely worn seats. When asked why we couldn't have one of the many empty tables to eat together we were told it was how they had organised their table plan ?! We hoped the manager would be a little more sensible and understand... we had to ask several employees if we could speak to her. She was very slow to come out and no help at all! As the waiter refused to serve us anywhere else than at the too small for our group of 8, with disgusting seats, closest to the kitchen we decided to go to the very close Frankie & Bennie's restaurant where we enjoyed a lovely meal without even having to ask to be seated together. We'll never ever again go to this awful TGI Friday at Cabbot circus. You may want to consider cleaner, friendlier options if you want a pleasant experience as a group! You'll see on the photos how empty the restaurant was... not surprising though as people working would rather not serve you!

We booked a table for an 18th birthday and it didn't go the way we was thinking. Didn't have a lot on the menu to choose from as they didn't have all the food in. Absolutely catastrophic visit to TGIs on a Friday night. Upon arrival the place was empty..after 20 minutes we had to break up the servers lovely chat to place an order but they still took a few minutes to arrive after that. Ordered drinks and food… after 40 minutes finally some drinks arrived.. one was wrong.. the server’s attitude and total lack of caring reminded me of a recent trip to France. We gave up and left but not before being given cheek by the 20ish year old manager. A restaurant seemingly run by kids who couldn’t give a toss if you enjoy yourself or not. I’ve never left a restaurant before but there was no saving this one. TGIs Bristol you are a disgrace.

Horrible Friday evening experience! Took ages to order, servers busy chatting and hiding at the back of the kitchen, drinks arrived after food was served. Not even once during the entire visit (not even while paying) someone came up to the table to ask how is everything and if we need anything else. I would definitely not eat here again. The salad is served without dressing, the burger was also without sauce and seemed botched (blackened spots on the bread, a lettuce leaf that did not look fresh with brown spots), even though the restaurant was only about 25% full, we waited approximately 40 minutes for the food. And finally, the rather loud music in the place got on my nerves after just 5 minutes. Additionally, when the drinks were brought out, some were forgotten and only delivered after we asked. They also forgot to bring us utensils, which we had to request again from the staff.

Do not under any circumstance go here for bottomless brunch. We sat down at the table at the start time and did not have a waiter serve our first drink until 45 mins in. Then every drink after took over 30 mins to arrive. By the time our time was over we had had 3 drinks and we asked for another before we left as the service was ridiculous. They had 1 person at the bar for the whole of the busy restaurant. The bottomless brunch here is an absolute scam.

Myself and my friend went to see a band in Bristol and travelled from Staffordshire. We looked for places to eat and decided on TGI Fridays, best thing we could have done. The quality and atmosphere and pricing for what you get is outstanding. We were served by Rachel, lovely person. She couldn’t do enough and we had a laugh and a joke and she couldn’t do enough for us. As soon as my refillable drink was placed down, I blinked and a new one replaced it. I can’t remember a time in a place I’ve ever felt so chill and looked after. So on the morning after the show we walked around looking for a fry up, then looked so long to only think about the awesome experience we had, so we went back to TGI Fridays again with no hesitation and was served by Rachel again who welcomed us again super chipper and cheerful. A lot of places could take notes from you lot. This one girl who looked like a heavier rock vibe who we spoke too who was also lovely, they looked just happy to be there, and was singing to songs on the stereo and just put you in a good mood, everyone did. I kinda want to work here just for the vibes. Well done Bristol TGI, you smashed it.

I have mixed options about this restaurant. The service from the staff was good, friendly and helpful. However it was really slow, especially for a Wednesday afternoon. Our cutlery was dirty, not just mine but also my partner's. There were a few great vegan options and the food tasted nice. Portion sizes were quite small for the price, though. It's quite expensive, all the food pictured was £63 and we had 2 soft drinks. We did not feel great after eating here and we are still feeling it 2 days after. I would not eat here again.

We (a group of 3) arrived at the place 15 minutes early in hopes we would be out a little bit quicker but because of the terrible speed of service and lack of service in general. 𝐰𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝟑 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐲 Here is a timeline. 17:15 - Arrived and was seated at a table which was not swept under, which wasn’t a massive issue since our waitress apologised and did sweep promptly. 17:25 - Got our drink and appetiser orders in. Shortly after the drinks came. 17:45 - Finally got our appetisers, which were alright to be fair. The waitress took our main orders in “to save some time waiting for them” 17:55 - Appetisers were finished with and table was cleared almost immediately. 18:50 - The waitresses noticed we have been waiting for quite a while and just stood there congregating at the ticket screen. A completely different waitress came over to apologise. Side note: throughout the whole waiting process we did not have a single staff member come up to us or even acknowledge we were there. 19:00- (an hour and 45 minutes into being there) We we’re first handed one of the mains which was a burger. This burger was under the heat lamp for so long it started to char and the bun was rock solid. Asked for it to be remade and it was, but why was it served in the first place? Everything came out shortly after that and we had no real issues with the food. 19:20 - We finished our food and stacked the plates nicely at the end of the table to very clearly indicate we were finished. 19:45 - After at least 4 members of staff walked past our table, looking at the dirty plates and just assuming someone else would take care of it i guess, we got our desert orders in. (The plates are still on the table) 19:50 - The table was cleared. (After 30 minutes of them being stacked at the end of the table) The bill was given to us. 20:10 - The deserts and the card machine was given to us. Overall the food was as expected but the service was shocking. No organisation, staff just standing around not checking on tables. Speed of service was the most shocking one. The fact plenty of staff walked past our dirty plates and just shrugged at it. The place was not even busy. I don’t think i have ever felt so invisible at a restaurant. How are you going to a restaurant and spending nearly 3 hours there because of poor organisation and lack of care from the staff. EDIT: We didn’t get any compensation, got a half bothered apology. Spent a good £125 for the three of us. This isn’t a fast food place this is a restaurant 😐 Complete mess 😭

We got there 15 minutes before our reservation and was introduced to a table which the floor wasn’t cleaned before we arrived, the hostess did apologise and clean however it shows the thoroughness of the cleaning initially. appetisers weren’t a problem although quite the wait- they arrived around 30 minutes after us entering TGI however, once we had ordered the mains we waiting approximately an hour for the food, during this staff were congregated by the kitchen and had only noticed how long we were waiting for after around an hour into us waiting. food was then slowly brought out to us interval at a time. The last thing to come out (burger) was burnt on the top and was extremely dry, showing how long it was sitting under the heat lamp for- another one was made for us though. once we had ate our plates were sat at the end of the table for 30 minutes. it was very clear we were finished as we stacked the plates up and pushed them to the end. 4 people had walked past our table and turned an eye to the plates- not to mention we were also sat right next to the till and kitchen where everyone was congregated so this added extra waiting time for us to order desserts and pay. Apologies and compassion were very slim during all of this. We then had to wait another extended amount of time for the waitress to come over with the card reader and desserts, she had disappeared from sight, i am not blaming her or anyone specifically however this could’ve been handed over to someone else to consume less time. Over all we had entered TGI’s at quater past 5 and did not leave until just before half 8. We left a generous tip to a singular waitress named Rhianna, she showed the most compassion and respect during our time and was the member who had actually brought up the major delays on our food. There is no complaints towards any specific member of staff however as a team they showed lack of time management and seemed to be very unscheduled around the restaurant as a whole, I would understand this if it was particularly busy. But it wasn’t. multiple tables were in and out whilst we were waiting there and there was only three of us on a table, none of us with tricky orders as the menu isn’t complicated anyway. Whether the manager wasn’t present at the time or whatever the circumstance was, it was a mess.

We waited 10 minutes to get served at the bar and then were eventually seated. Ordered 2 meals and waited 40 mins before having to chase thr food. The people next to us had already left as had waited so long. The food did eventually arrive but was cold (and no it was not supposed to be)!!!! Felt sorry for our waitress as it was n ot her fault. Loads of food was being cooked and just being left on thr counter. I saw 2 plates of ribs sat there for at least 15 mins before being served. Additionally no healthy options on the menu. Won't be going back!!!!

Possibly some of the worst service I've ever experienced. We had one waitress at the start who was great but seemed to be doing everything. Her shift finished during our visit and everything went downhill rapidly. One waitress dumping / dropping the wrong food on our table and walking away despite us telling her immediately that it was wrong. Food taking ages to arrive, when it finally did arrive it was wrong. Even the bill at the end was wrong and we had to ask for it to be amended 3 times. Largely the food was ok. Nothing wrong with it but the prices have gone up so much while the quality has also dropped significantly. There are much nicer restaurants in Bristol that cost far less and you'll get better service.

Booked a table for myself and my girlfriend at 5:30 on 16/03/24. Wished we’d looked at the other recent reviews as we may have thought twice. Our initial waitress was attentive and took our order around 5:45, and we were looking forward to the meal. Not sure where she went but wish she’d stuck around as she seemed to disappear for the next hour of nonsense. We watched as our cocktails were made quickly at the bar, placed on the bar, then sat there for 20 minutes, as other servers occasionally came to the bar, picked up other drinks and took them to other customers. Eventually I went up to the crowd of gossiping servers and asked if the cocktails were for our table, as they had been sat there for 20 minutes. They jumped into action and promptly brought them over, but by this time a large portion of the ice had melted, meaning we got a watery warmish attempt at a cocktail, which was rather underwhelming for the price. Not letting this get us down, we got hungrier for the food we had ordered, in hopes that so far it was an honest mistake. Around 30 mins after we ordered, we watched as a table 2 down from ours that had been seated very recently, were given the exact food we had ordered! It piqued our interest as not only were we hungry and saw people who had arrived later than us get food, but we overheard the conversation with the server, stating they had not even had their starter yet, and questioned if it was their meal… the server confidently told them it was theirs and walked off, bringing their starters 5 mins later. After 45 mins of waiting, with more tables around us receiving mains despite having arrived later than us, we asked a server about our meal. Without listening to our concerns, she just bluntly asked if we wanted the manager. Not particularly, but since she was so uninterested in helping us, I guess we had no choice. We then watched as this server went over to other members of the team - not the manager who we later met - and rolled her eyes, making faces about us, as the other members of the team all looked over and pointed towards us. If you’re going to moan about customers, maybe not in an open space in the restaurant… The manager seemed friendly enough, but also appeared completed uninterested in what the issue was, instead lying to us by saying our food had just been placed by himself personally onto the pass. If that had been true, I find it odd that he didn’t carry it over with him to see us?… We didn’t get a chance to explain why we were upset, but asked to cancel any order that was still waiting, and said we weren’t happy paying full price for the drinks we’d received as they’d gone watery due to the wait and the lack of food to accompany them. He asked us how much we’d like off, a strange offer which put us in an awkward position. After some awkward “umm’s”, he said he’d give us 50% off the cocktails we’d got, but proceeded to charge us 75% of the original cost. Feeling rather defeated, we just paid and left, opting for a faster, cheaper, and likely tastier meal from Tortilla just downstairs. Shame that a chain where I’d had nice meals in different places now let me down so terribly in my home town. Don’t think we were thinking of coming back, but looking at other reviews of other terrible service and rotten food, definitely not setting foot anywhere near this restaurant again.

Waited 15 minutes without even being offered drinks so gave up and went to Frankie and Bennys which I can highly recommend if you’re looking for good service and decent food.

We’ve been many times over the years but it’s now exceeded our budget… why they think it’s ok to charge £16 for a cocktail (that is in a small wine glass) and over £20 for one single adult dish (that was vegetarian so it’s not like it was a Kobe steak!) you’re not the Ritz and the service doesn’t support it! Don’t get me wrong, we loved going, we loved the food, you’ve just started charging stupid money. This was unfortunately our last visit. We didn’t tip as we felt we’d been rinsed enough.

Very poor experience, do not recommend. I was very unhappy with the service and food quality at this TGI branch, where I had a disappointing dining experience on 18/2/24. The waitress who seated us was impolite and stressed, saying "ugh now we're going to get busy" as if we were a nuisance. We were seated at dirty tables that wete sticky. The staff took a long time to take our order, and the only thing that came promptly was the drinks, of which there were unable to make several due to insuffient stock. The burgers and chicken were dry, stale and bland, we had observed them sat on the hot plates for a sigificant ammount of time before heading our way. As a result, they had no flavor or moisture. The staff were indifferent and distracted, spending more time talking around the till than serving the customers. One waitress brought a coke refill to our table without even saying a word and slammed it down on a side board, didn't even place it on the table. The meal and service were not worth the price we paid, and the atmosphere was unfriendly and unpleasant. The cutlery had water marks on them. It felt, an unhygienic place to eat. I tried to complain to the store manager by email, but she was unhelpful and dismissive. She did not apologize or offer any compensation and acted like it was our problem for being dissatisfied. I felt this was rude and unprofessional. This place is a letdown. Do not waste your time or money here. You will be disappointed. I will not go back to this TGI Fridays or any other branch. They need to improve their standards.

We decided to come here as the place we wanted to go didn't have a table for another hour. Wish we had waited for that. The menu was lacking (they used to have a lovely Jack Daniels chicken which is no longer on the menu), so I opted for a cheeseburger which came in at just shy of £20. It was a McDonald's burger in a slightly fancier bun. My friend and I shared a mac & cheese side which was basically just soggy pasta with a crumb topping. Not cheesy at all. The service was terrible. We were given a dessert menu and then told they'd come back to take our order. By the time we managed to get catch a waitress' eye she informed us that the dessert station was now closed. Surely you'd come over and let us know that it was closing and ask if we'd want to order? We asked for the bill, which was brought over to us and we let them know we were splitting it. Again, we were told they'd be back but nobody came - until an older lady came over and told us quite passive aggressively that they were closing in 10 minutes and we needed to leave. We explained we were waiting to pay our bill and would have probably left earlier if we weren't waiting, to which the young girl returned with another copy of the bill and no card machine.... Not worth the money, go to KFC or McDonald's instead.

The food has gone down hill over the years, while the prices continue to skyrocket ahead of other restaurants that provide a better service, food, and ambience. You're looking at at least £50 per head for 2 courses and a 2 drinks, and the food is subpar.

Visited on Sunday 18th Feb at around 5pm only to be turned away as the restaurant didn't have enough waiters even though the place was less than a quarter full. Gave them a second chance and visited on Sunday 25th Feb and really wish i didn't. The restaurant was quarter full with none of the TGI Fridays atmosphere but seemed to have plenty of staff as most we're just standing around chatting. After 15 minutes of waiting someone took our order but when the drinks arrived we we're missing part of the drinks order and had to ask for it to be corrected.The starters arrived not long after yet there was no cutlery on the table and we had to ask for a knife and fork! The starters itself was ok yet no one checked to see if we ok. We then sat (and as others have commented in their reviews) waiting patiently for our mains...it was a good 40 minutes after our starters were taken away it arrived with no cutlery again. But more annoying and we had noticed our parts of the main food waiting under the heating lamps for 20 mins. Apparently they kept it there as they waiting for chips to be cooked !!!! We watched the staff just standing around, looking disinterested as our food just dried under the heat lamps (and heated up the coleslaw and dips). We complained when the food arrived and the waitress just said theres nothing she could do it wasn't her job! Another family sat at a table across from us heard our complaints and as they had been waiting 20 mins for someone to take their order they got up and left! There is a total management failure happening at this restaurant with poor service , staff who aren't interested, food that's over priced and of poor quality . They seem to be replying on the brand name to get people through the doors rather than providing a great service and based on the number of poor reviews it seems to have been going on a while yet the management seem interested in sorting out their issues! I certainly won't be in a rush to go back.

When delivered I opened the bag to find that all my freezing cold cans of pop were just randomly placed into the box full of my glazed chicken bites, so the chicken was freezing cold and cans covered in sauce and grease. My milkshake came only half filled in the cup🤦‍♂️ and I was missing 3 items. Absolutely shocking so won’t be ordering from them again!

I used to enjoy my previous visits, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. The place was dirty, with tables left uncleared. My partner’s order of ribs arrived burnt and missing the advertised corn. I ordered steak, it wasn't available – a fact the server only discovered after my starter arrived 30 minutes later. Opting for the burger instead, I found it dry and mediocre, not worth the overpriced tag. Overall, a highly disappointing and unsatisfactory dining experience.

We visited this TGIs last Sunday and we're thoroughly disappointed. We arrived just after 12.30 and the restaurant had a fair amount of people seated but nowhere near capacity. We were seated on very uncomfortable booths where we could feel every movement of the people seated behind us, when plenty of other seats were available. We waited a fair amount of time to be served. The drinks were fine, we were warned that the Margaritas might be extra sweet because the server might have made a mistake. They were a bit sweet but didn't moan, wish we had in hindsight. We ordered 3 burgers and a chicken pasta. After waiting about an hour and seeing about 10 burgers waiting on the pass for 20 minutes or more (and plenty of servers milling around to bizarre why they hadn't been brought out!) our food was brought to us - the burgers were cold in the middle but the buns were rock hard where they had been under the light. The chicken in the pasta was also not hot. We sent these back and the manager assured us they was going to cook them themself. The second time the food was satisfactory but not as we have come to expect. To be honest for the poor service and food we expected some kind of discount...which we did not get. Couldn't get out of there fast enough...very disappointing from a brand we had previously had no issues with

My son really enjoys eating her but I am appalled by the service, lack of children menu and the lack of options for tacos which not be changed for children. I now have to take my children somewhere else to eat even if he make one of children happy to eat her. Ordered at 5.45pm and didn’t get my food until 8.25pm. Disgusting customer service all around. Food was unable to be eaten as it wasn’t fit for consumption! The driver was rude, made me uncomfortable and took 25 minutes to get to my door since being in my estate. He kept putting the phone down, didn’t/couldn’t understand English or maps as he put a random stranger on the phone who informed me he wasn’t near my address. I want a FULL REFUND!

Another amazing visit yesterday, you know this place is good when you do an hour and a bit round trip on your day off just to visit! I had beef taco and nachos and my partner had a burrito all the food was delicious and full of flavour! Please don’t ever close we love you Cartel Cantina!
