The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in South Wales

What a perfect little place. Wonderful and warm hospitality. Truly delicious and authentic food. We very much hope to be back.

The Falafel Stall in Swansea Market sells delicious falafels with a choice of sauce and healthy salad so you can probably get your five a day all at once! We got regular size, which was ample. I think it cost £4.50, certainly less than a fiver. Might have been £4.95, not sure. Don't hesitate to get your lunch here. Served quickly, too.

Small bites were ok. Burrito was a bit too juicy and made the tortilla a tad soggy. Bao bun was crunchy on the corners. Beetroot halloumi was lovely. Needed more flat bread though. Food came out quickly, perhaps too quickly. Sitting outside you can sit and stare across the bay and watch the world go by. Would happily return for a drink and to try other things on the menu.

This is a fantastic healthier but extremely tasty place to eat in Cardiff city centre. All the staff are phenomenal, the customer service is second to none and the place is immaculately clean all the way from top to bottom, from the Cajun chicken wrap all the way through to my cinnamon bun the flavours were extraordinary! The staff are all so friendly and they serve you with a smile, it really goes a long way! The price is just right (I don’t want to use the word cheap) for the quality it is excellent. The coffee beats all of the bigger chains in my opinion and the presentation on every item I tried was second to none! Please if you haven’t already try McSims as I guaranteed you will leave fulfilled and wanting to come back for more !

Fab 1st visit after recently moving into area...loved the decor...so much to look at...loved the use of local produce...all served by lovely young lady,..loved the events list.

I’m often in student union and the smell of this shop fills the whole corridor of the ground floor (smells amazing). Very fast service, very nice owner and delicious food! I had the 12 inch wrap and skinny fries and it was delicious! it was my first time having falafel and it was very nice! Also very nice interior. It feels very cosy. Inshallah definitely coming again! Thanks.

Food is nice but gone quite expensive, ive been going there for years. I know mama has always been lovely, but one of the ladies serving me, not very patient, must be having an off day, considering I spent £14

The food is awesome . I went for lunch and then for dinner . Rezan was very very good polite friendly although the restaurant was busy he was always there to help . He was very welcome remembered us so well a big Thankyou Rezan for making us feel at home your hospitality was outstanding and fabulous keep up the good work we will definitely visit you again with our daughters . Authentic wood oven for pizzas. Pizzas excellent. Take aways available. Shared platters for starters recommended Gone back few times.

Really lovely tapas and wine selection and very friendly service. Central location and lovely atmosphere in the downstairs bar.

Nice restaurant, good food. Good service. Portions could have been slightly bigger.

Went yesterday with friend for first time ever. Had meatballs followed by a pork gyros. Food was stunning. The gyros was enormous and I couldn't finish it. Will be back again soon. Keep up the good work xx
