The Falafel Stall in Swansea

I visited this stall multiple times in the heart of the Swansea indoor market as I was looking for a healthy alternative to Gregg's. After finding this hidden gem I was amazed by the amazing fresh salad on offer to accompany the falafel. I tried both the boxes and the wrap with the tahini and chipotle mayo. It tasted so good and if I'm ever in Swansea again I will revisit, best falafel I've ever had. More importantly the guy who runs it and his staff are one of a kind. Beautiful souls and a pleasure to chat to daily. I was having a bad day and he could see that and fully turned my day around with his Christmas spirit and kind gestures. Wonderfully fresh, delicious wraps full of high quality yummy ingredients. One wrap lasts me for lunch with leftovers for tea.

As much as I like the food, I need to say that the opening hours are really bad. In theory the stall is open 4 days a week but in real live is totally different. Today it was a third time when I got there and the stall was closed. It was 2.15pm and according to the website the closing time is 4.00pm. There was no info on instagram account as well. The portions get smaller too since my first visit. I’m really disappointed :(

Soooooooo gooooooooooood! Excellent and tasty real food. I got the falafel box with salads and I only just managed to finish it as there was so much food ! Im going back soon.

My wife had been on about going here a number of times - so we duly did on our visit to Swansea yesterday. I went for a 'regular box' and was simply staggered by how much you got for your money. I confess I just could not finish it (nor could the wife). The daughter had a wrap that was lunch and also tea it was so big. So damn tasty as well. A great selection of salad - and sauces. Equally, really welcoming service. (You know how it is when you go in a place for the first time and dither a bit - but was no hassle). Would highly recommend - and sure we will be back.

Ordered falafel salad for 4 for a picnic; had everything. What a fantastic lunch for us all - great variety, fresh, tasty and really filling. I've always loved the food here and the friendly, helpful staff. This was the first intro to my friends from London, who've said they can't wait to come back so they can go back to the Falafel Stall. Once you've had thd falafels here you'll never buy the processed ones again, you'll just want to keep coming back here instead. Great choice of canned drinks too. Great variety for vegans.

The food here is lovely; fresh and delicious. I ordered a large falafel box and it was HUGE. Staff are lovely too.

I’ve had two absolutely amazing lunches from The Falafel Stall this week. I wouldn’t normally choose something like this - I normally just grab a sandwich from Sainsbury’s- but this place was recommended to me - and I was not disappointed. I ordered the enormous falafel wrap which contained hummus, a huge fresh salad and some chimichurri sauce - it was delicious! The staff were unbelievably lovely on both occasions and I really enjoyed chatting with them while waiting for my wrap to be made. All in all, a wonderful experience which I can’t wait to repeat again and again! Please go...you will love it!!

Excellent salad with good selection and very good quality. The falafel is delicious and the sauces are divine. Great value and very filling too.

Wonderful Healthy Food For ALL The food, the staff in the market and at Orchards St Swansea shop are amazing, Plus caring which is a very VERY nice change. From the time they open till closed. A huge amount of prep is needed every day by all. Just thank you for being here.

The Falafel Stall is a firm personal favourite and also with all the colleagues I work with, we consume our own body weight in falafel salad boxes each week and can't get enough. Good, clean, wholesome and tasty food at the right price, pleasant and helpful staff behind the counter. If you're in Swansea Market look them out and give yourself a treat.

I visited this place on my lunch break yesterday and was not disappointed! It’s so nice to see stalls offering a healthy alternative popping up in the Swansea place. Rather than the routine “greasy spoons” you often find. To start with it wasn’t over complicated, (which can sometimes put you off to begin with). The setup was simple with 3 choices: 1. A wrap 2. A regular size box 3. A large box. I opted for the wrap, at £3.80 an absolutely steal. It came with a choice of salad all fresh and vibrant in colour. Of course I chose to have everything and was happy I did... but of course your choice is your own! There were a variety of sauces on offer, I chose hot chilli & mint ( in hindsight I will ask for a little more sauce next time 😋). Now onto the falafel, If was fresh out the fryer with a lovely crisp outer, not compromising a moist juicy inner. It was a delicious variety of flavours with each one balanced finely against the other, in other words not too cuminy or coriandery lol. The loyalty card is also a great idea ( mine will be filled in no time ). To sum up Kudos to you @ Falafel Stall, I would gladly pick you over any lager chain fast food company. Thank you for the delicious, fresh, vibrant, crisp, clean, no fuss taste bud experience you delivered!!

Went to Swansea with the fami and came upon the stall. Got a falafel wrap and it was the best wrap I have ever had. The falafels were delicious. For £3 you cannot go wrong. The girl who served me was very pleasant also. If I go back to Swansea I will no doubt call back for a wrap. Keep up the good work folks

I visit the falafel stall at least once a week to get lunch. The regular size box provides a generous portion that fills me up each time, and most importantly tastes amazing!The staff are always so friendly and hard working. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a healthy alternative to their usual lunch routine.

Well wet into town with The Fatty Chappy Wifey yesterday didnt know where to go. So I tried a new place for me the falafel stall in swansea market. The staff were great I said about my nut allergy and they showed me a folder showing what contained what. And they picked my sauces for me. Had this box for a fiver and there was tons of food in it, all fresh looking and tasting wonderful the hummus was so smooth and creamy. I couldn't eat it all so the wife had just under half as well. I will definitely try again. Thanks to Fatty Chappy follower Mark Cambridge Davies (bit more bite) for suggesting it

The best falafel I’ve ever tried. The salad box is such a hearty meal and so full of good stuff. The whole family love it. Lovely friendly staff too!

Eat here regularly as I work in Swansea. I would say I visit weeklyAlways friendly staff and great service. The ingredients are really fresh and a wrap (my preferred choice) keeps me full all day. Nothing fills me as much for £3.80 and a stamp of a loyalty cards keeps me coming! Would reccomend 100%

I regularly (and always) have the large falafel and salad box. This multi vegetable feast provides all I need to eat for the day. Recently upped from £4.50 to £5 but still cracking value.

A great lunch idea, at a bargain price. Beautiful fresh ingredients put together in front of you. Friendly and helpful staff too. A definite must.

A take away Falafel stall full of a fresh and healthy mixture which I have enjoyed several times. Always a short queue of satisfied customers and I will be returning again for another untimely meal with a boost of goodness.

Have visited multiple times now and the food is absolutely delicious, nutritious and really good value for money. Wouldn't go anywhere else for lunch in swansea city centre. The owners are always very friendly too which is nice.

I didn't used to have a lot of time for Swansea Market, it felt stuck in the 1970's and had very little for vegetarians (beside jacket potatoes). Then the Falafel Stall appeared. What a revelation!I eat here at least once a week, thanks to the reasonable prices, very healthy selection of salads, and generous portions.The owner is so friendly too, he always makes me smile. A very special place, that hopefully heralds a new dawn for the tired market.

Healthy, homemade, plentiful, cheap and delicious! This stall is one of the best fast food places in Swansea.

This place sells falafel to take away. It’s great. You should definitely go. You can get falafel on its own, in a wrap with salad/sauce or boxed with a huge, delicious selection of whatever salad, veggies, grains, pickles and sauces your falafel-loving heart desires. It’s all super fresh, great value and served by happy, smiley people. Like most of the best places to eat in a city there can sometimes be a line but it moves quickly so hang in there. If you find yourself in line on a Friday lunchtime I may well be there too; sing “Baby I love falafel” to the tune of “Baby I got your money” by ODB and if I hear it I’ll come give you a high five and shout you lunch.

I’m not sure it’s possible to buy any more food for £3.50 - my falafel wrap was jam packed with falafel, couscous, hummus band loads of tasty fresh veg. There’s a great choice of sauces too! I went for the green herby one with tahini and chilli sauce. I felt like a lie down afterwards as the portion size is very generous. Recommended.

I am a massive fan of the Falafel Stall. I only buy my lunch out from work a few times a month and always come here. I just know if I eat anywhere else I’d be disappointed I missed a falafel opportunity The wrap is massive and packed full of a fresh variety of salads and absolutely stunning falafels. The salad boxes are great, with all the same options, just minus the wrap! I’ve already filled my first loyalty card and well on my way to a second free lunch. Would highly recommend a visit here, great food and lovely staff.

As a previous fan of Subway, I have increasingly become bored of their subs and pathetic lack of vegetarian options. Their Veggie Patty is OK, but having it all the time made me bored of them. Used to visit Subway almost every day, but have longed for something different. Today however, I gave the Falafel Stall a visit.What a pleasant surprise. Extremely polite and friendly service, my wrap was prepared quickly using very fresh and appetising ingredients that simply cannot be found elsewhere.I had a £3.50 Falafel wrap, which was ram packed full of goodness. Similar to Subway, you can choose what you want, or don't want in it, and as I hate cucumber, the server was more than happy to avoid putting anything with cucumber in my wrap.Paid for my wrap with contactless (yes, even though it's a small stall, they do take cards thanks to PayPal Here).Most importantly was the TASTE and serving size. I was extremely satisfied with the quality, overall freshness, and portion size of my wrap. It was outstanding. As I work for the Co-op only a minute away, I used to buy our own brand Falafel and Homous wraps at £2.95.Only after buying a freshly made wrap from the Falafel Stall have I realised I was being ripped off by my beloved Co-op, knowing now all too well that for just 55p more I can experience something totally superior.Add the fact that the Falafel Stall has a loyalty card where ten stamps will get you a free wrap, hence technically giving you 10% back when you do the maths, this is a great scheme which I'm certain to continue using.When in town on a lunch break, or even visiting town for personal reasons, I will not hesitate to put this place at the very top of my list of best places to visit for quick, healthy fast food.I will therefore continue to visit again and again.I would love one day however, should there be space for the owners to do so, for them to have a seating area so that I can enjoy my wrap without having to take it back to work or find a nearby bench.100% recommended in every way. Even if you're not a vegetarian or vegan, I'd still HIGHLY recommend this place, because the wraps are incredibly flavoursome and very filling. See you soon!

Visited here with my daughter, who's vegan. I'm not even a veggie but I have to the I tried the wrap and it was absolutely amazing, so much so that I sneakily returned the following day without my daughter. Two weeks in been back 4 times, loving it the wrap doesn't make it back to the car x

It's a stall like this that will keep the market going strong. Fresh, tasty and excellent value. Lovely people too.

The stall has been open a while but I haven't been back till last week.The range of ingredients is large and you can have more or less of whatever you want. Everything is fresh, colourful and tasty.I have only had wraps so far but the boxes come in two sizes and look well filled.There is a selection of sauces too.I don't know how they manage to close them with all the fillings.It makes for a large and very tasty lunch and I am looking froward to filling my face as well as my loyalty card.

My favourite place in the city centre to get my lunch on my break. Always fresh, no place like it for the service (Dan you are lovely) and so great to finally have a healthy alternative that is always delicious. Such a reasonable price also!
