Had a lovely meal here. With family. Boys had pizza. And I had the tastiest veg lasagne ever.

Had a lovely evening at the RiverBank. Food was delicious, the staff were lovely and the restaurant itself was cosy, warm and very nicely decorated. Thank you!

Food here is brilliant. They use good quality produce and the results speak for themselves. Staff are very friendly , relaxed and helpful with a good sense of humour. All in all a very pleasurable evening out

We had a great meal last night after a lovely walk around the Lliw reservoir. We had the carbonara and king prawm pasta, followed by their homage tiramisu. Couldn't fault anything Great service and felt welcome

Such a find! Had wandered the lliw reservoirs and popped here for dinner… felt like proper Italian - delicious and the homemade tiramisu to finish was scrummy. Attentive and relaxed hosts which better quality food than I’ve found in a while - we’ll be back!

Meal was delicious, and service was very friendly. Warm environment and atmosphere. Also very clean.

Lovely place with great service. Priced realistically. I had the lamb tagine with cous cous followed by tiramisu. The lamb was cooked beautifully my only small niggle was the lack of spice that you would expect in a tagine. Also the tiramisu was not great. However, that said I would quite happily dine here again.

This is our 2nd visit to this restaurant and it gets better! We had the Vension Burger as a special which was fabulously fresh being first of the season. Highly recommended and a great price. Will be back next time we are in the Swansea area. The service was wonderful. Thanks guys.

The price-performance ratio was good. The pizza was very tasty, the service excellent. The restaurant is pleasantly furnished, so you can definitely feel at home. What more could you want?

Been here quiet a few times, but never reviewed? The pizza, pasta and quality of food is superb; and not pricey. Particular favourite is the meatballs, which are amazing. The freshness and quality of ingredients are incredible. Though we have often been with family, we have visited at lunchtime today for a drink and they have a fantastic ‘happy hour’ offer, where you spend £10 on drinks and get a cheese or meat platter for free…which was excellent. Best olives I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Must visit if your anywhere in swansea.

Absolutely amazing food, excellent service, and a really cosy atmosphere! Couldn’t have asked for more for a little birthday night out. We shared some hot tapas to start and then had a variety of pizza, pasta and the chicken thighs for mains. The Spanish cheese cake was out of this world! The service was excellent - so helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend!

Best Pizza since coming back from Venice, last year! - Never left a review before but was well deserving of one. Super friendly staff all with smiles on their faces, great menu choice, all reasonably priced, and the best pizza we’ve had since our trip to Italy. Can’t wait to go back again!

Great food and good service, however, there were no condiments on any of the tables, I had to ask for, salt and pepper, parmesan cheese, olive oil and balsamic vinegar, hopefully I won't need to ask on my next visit.

Popped into this gem of a restaurant on Xmas Eve. We had the lamb tagine and the venison lasagne. Washed down with a couple of glasses of house Merlot. Quality, piping hot tasty food yet again. Not the most comprehensive menu, yet enough to please all. Highly recommended

Great place and great quality food

I ate here with a party of 9 on Wednesday evening. We all had Pizzas which were cooked in the wood fired pizza oven, various deserts and beers and ciders. The restaurant is very atmospheric with the Italian theme, and there was a great vibe there. I liked the walls that have been covered in vibrant, colourful Italian posters. Will most definitely return to try other delights from the menu! The proprietor sources a lot of ingredients from the local area and to me that is important and the way things should be. Keep the money in the locality.

It was my first time coming here last weekend. The pizza was so tasty and the pasta was cooked perfectly. Can’t wait to come back.

Went for food here. £15 for a bowl of pasta and £21 for a steak. The steak was very average at best and extremely fatty, my partner ate it, left all the outer, most of the chips and all the veg. I had prawn pasta that literally tasted like a bowl of fish and salt, it was absolutely disgusting. My partner paid for both meals and we left straight away, me with a full plate. Absolutely gobsmacked at the prices they’re charging for meals compared to the standard they’re serving. Would never eat here again.

Beautiful food and very friendly service yet again. This place is exactly what you would and should expect from a quaint family run restaurant. When busy it is loud and thriving and full of atmosphere! The menu definitely focuses around quality and we have tried many of the dishes during our repeat visits and are yet to be disappointed! Few nice vegan options on there too. The restaurant benefits from a newly tarmaced path which heads up towards Craig cefn parc and on to the Cwm clydach nature reserve. A very unique establishment in what is becoming a thriving little village.

Booked last minute for tea with our two children and dog. Got in without issue and was very glad we did! Excellent service and welcome on arrival followed but delicious pizza, bread and olives and chick pea chips! Great children’s menu too. The desserts were equally lovely with the praline and almond parfait being exquisite; the best we had ever tasted! A truly memorable experience! Would have paid a lot more money than we did for what we had and couldn’t believe the amazing parfait was only £4.20!!! Highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife went here with some girlfriends and was keen to bring me, it did not disappoint. Really relaxed atmosphere, we booked but could see that they allow walk-in business as well. Maria had a glass of prosecco & a glass of rosé, I had Bacardi & coke. The coke was the real thing, getting to be a rare thing in Swansea with the ghastly popular alternative & hideous own brands most everyone is serving now... rant over :o). The food was just lovely and home-made, super-soft meatballs in a rich tomato sauce & the pizza on home-made base was divine, layers of flavour, I didn't want it to end. The owner, Sean, told us the ingredients are all locally sourced. I'm not a fan of chains & the resulting food miles, so it's great to hear that this establishment is promoting & supporting local businesses, something I can get behind. We will definitely be back.

Visited last night to celebrate a new business signing, perfect setting for bussiness or pleasure! There was a beautiful outside area next to the river but unfortunately it was a little too cold to be outside. I've visited Italy numerous times over the years, it was tremendous to taste Italian food as if I was back in Italy. From some areas of the restaurant you can see stone pizza oven, I found this a lovely authentic touch the the restaurant. The service was as good as the food! Always greeted with smiles, they couldn't do enough for us while also giving everyone enough space to enjoy their meal. The perfect balance! I never thought I'd find authentic Italian food so close to home, I will definitely be visiting again!

We met Sean, the owner, back when he was Popty Pizza, serving great pizza at the local markets. It was amazing to finally get to see his restaurant and enjoy his food. I had the Iron Age pork belly and it was delicious!

Nice decor and location, genuinely good food that encompasses Welsh, Italian, and Moroccan cuisines.

Pretty good, starters ok, amazing pizza

Me and my family went there and had a great time. The food was great, and the dog that lives there is so cute and friendly. There is loads of choice and the interior design is cool.

Visited this little gem recently, the service was truly welcoming and genuine and the food excellent. I wish this was on doorstep because I would go all the time. Casual relaxed dining, even the other diners were friendly and chatty. They deserve to do well.

Recently visited the Riverbank restaurant after a long walk on the mountains. Food, service was fantastic, a definite revisit for the future.

Ordered a takeaway pizza and calamari for an hours time, it was ready right on time. The pizza was very high quality, the calamari and amazing dip to die for, fantastic.

Brilliant comforting home made Italian in a lovely homely atmosphere. Can't wait to come back again!

Super friendly and helpful owner, helped point us towards the waterfall down the river and the other direction towards where Kingfishers are spotted sometimes- he drew us a map on the back of the menu ! :) Beautiful scenery just minutes away.
