Came here before the hippodrome, had to wait for a table as it was too busy however when we were seated, we were met with complimentary starters. We had a mix of meats which were all delicious & cane with lots of sides, dont go hungry! Service was great, our waiter in particular was extremely friendly & looked after us despite having a lot of tables to serve. Overall, a great meal and we’ll be back again!

We have eaten here on several occasions when in the centre of Birmingham and always enjoyed it. This was a great disappointment. Several things we wanted to order were unavailable from the tapas menu,also the wine. The food when it arrived was tepid. The dessert we wanted was not available and there was no coffee as the boiler was broken!. We took this up with the staff saying how disappointed we were. They just apologised. Sadly we will not be returning.

My family and I had a wonderful evening at Byzantinium. The food, atmosphere, decor and waiters were great. Special thanks to the hospitality and kindness to the owner who made our evening 😊❤️

Food is authentic and tasty, a lot of effort is made, service is quick with a smile whilst seats are comfortable, private areas available too

Went here for a business dinner. Their staff were very attentive. The place is clean and the food was great. Their sushi platter were presented well and taste good as well. Highly recommend the beef on skewers. It is perfectly cooked and tastes great! The only thing missing here is the knowledge of their waiting staff in terms of food being served. It was not explained and when asked have to go back to the kitchen and get the answer. It was overall a bit pricey but gives good value in terms of quality.
