The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in Tower Hamlets London

We booked a table at this restaurant online and had all the expected emails (including one a couple of days before asking us to confirm that we were definitely going). However on arrival we discovered that the restaurant had closed and there was now something else in it's place. I was told that the restaurant had closed over a month ago! All their online booking seems still to be in place, including the emails telling me that I was successfully checked in at the restaurant and the one asking for feedback on my experience! Very misleading. Also very disappointing given that we'd travelled a long way and desperately needed Gluten Free food and there was nothing else suitable in the area that we could find. What a disaster!

What a lovely experience to dine here, especially on Valentine's Day. The setting was just right and the food was lovely! We especially enjoyed the music as well! Kept vibing to it all night! We started the evening off with some starters and my personal favourite was the camembert! I couldn't get enough of it and I think I probably would've had it for my main as well! Then onto the main, my boyfriend had a steak and I ordered a Butternut Squash and Walnut Risotto. Though there was a minor mistake when the risotto came, the lovely Goncalo served me the Chorizo and Prawn risotto (which was on the special) however dearest Pedro had picked on the error and hastily replaced it with the vegetarian one I originally ordered. Like I said a minor mistake but we didn't let that ruin our lovely Valentine's dinner. The highlight of my evening was the drinks! I ordered a Spicy Cucumber Margarita and I had never had anything like it before! The salted rim of the coup glass really complimented the refreshing taste of the cocktail and I even ordered a second one with more salt on the rim! After we ate our mains, we decided to relax a bit and finish our drinks. That was when the lovely Pedro came over and had offered us drinks on the house for being such lovely and understanding guests! We got champagne and my oh my, was it the best champagne I have ever had! Service was absolutely wonderful! Everyone was very accommodating and lovely and my boyfriend and I will 120% come back here again for normal dinner service! Huge thanks for Pedro and Goncalo!!!

Delicious food and buzzing atmosphere on a Saturday night. However, the service was quite slow meaning we had to order dessert whilst still eating our mains before the kitchen closed! Only a minor complaint though and will definitely be returning!

Visited with mate and ordered the chicken and lamb kebab with rice and paid £22/£23. The meat was poor quality and very bland. The place is a tourist trap and clearly looking to rip off unsuspecting tourists. Very disappointed. Not sure why they had central heating on either in what was the hottest day of the year! Probably so you’d leave quicker so they can get the next sucker in….

Así que deja ir a Ruddy. Sin embargo, todavía existe un reino de ofuscación de jefe que está más allá de tus ideas más borrachas. el orden es normal, y tú sentado guapo, escalofriante, masticando el gordo con tus amigos. y luego, el frío pone posada. y de repente, el séquito local de los traficantes se sacude. juego limpio crees, ellos consiguen primero dibs. son gente poderosa. entonces la cadena de esta categoría de tío sigue viniendo y tú te sentaste junto a la caja preguntándote si tu tiempo bajo el sol alguna vez se materializará. Carta de vinos cara, demasiado extensa. Alimentos para microondas, un plato servido frío, devuelto después de microondas adicionales, no reemplazado. Street Beggar permitía pasear pidiendo dinero a los comensales. ¡No hay café disponible!

Not worth it, even at half the price. Walked in for the first time and asked for two things and was told it's not available. Usually this is when a customer service rep should recommend a few things but I just stood there awkwardly asking what is available. Then was served my third preference of food. Paid £14 for it and it's cold. So not only my third preference but also very cold. I work super local to this place and was looking forward to it but this subpar experience means I likely wont be returning.

Okay m atmosphere, not very busy at all, food is served quickly, the restaurant is clean, Turkish music and Ornaments all around. Staff are very friendly and happy to offer advice regarding the cuisine. Portions could be better, especially for the price. £12.50 for a main meal that is mediocre isn’t money well spent. the table and chairs are outdated , the menu is okay and nothing to write home about. The table mats and all consist of history of the owner and his journey with cuisine - this was a nice historical touch. Menu could be more adventurous, humour abs bread was nice, but more options would be great. People from all walks of life fine here, which is nice too. The major issue is parking at £13 an hour, only if you’re fortunate at finding a spot. The owner was in the restaurant , didn’t make much of an effort with the customers and only a few diners were eating in. The waiters served whatever they wanted to, and didn’t adhere to what the requests were.

This food does not taste like Lebanese food at all very watery

Tenemos una mesa fácilmente, la vista es espléndida de hecho. Después de hablar con los camareros, Margarita no decepcionó, Martini era promedio - aguada y no estaba bien fría. La cocina estaba cerrada a las 2100, pero nos trajeron un pequeño tazón con lo que se suponía que eran nueces, había una docena de cacahuetes y algunos otros trozos no estoy seguro de qué, sabor poco atractivo. Basándonos en la calidad asumimos que era un mordisco ofrecido con las bebidas hasta que lo vimos en la factura de £ 4. 50 . Recomendamos para la vista, ritmos fríos y ambiente si tienes ganas de chapotear: cócteles £ 15 + 15% de cargo por servicio.

Qué lugar encantador el personal es tan maravilloso. Buena vibra. Precios razonables. Una joyita. La decoración es muy marroquí y los cócteles geniales.

Ordered wrap it was horrible, no salas or sauce, bland, greasy and tasteless. Theres a minimum of £15 (which is just ridiculous). Staff kept asking if we are finished when we only starting eating. Avoid this place!!
