The best restaurants serving Japanese food in Glasgow and Surrounding

Excellent little takeaway sushi place in the west end. Owners were so friendly and helpful. Food is delicious with lots of choice and great prices. The salmon is so unbelievably fresh and tasty.

He estado unas 5 veces desde que abrieron y cada vez ha sido mejor que el anterior! Tengo que viajar un poco para llegar aquí, pero siempre vale la pena. Estoy celoso de no vivir en East end ahora. Creo que ya he probado la mayoría de los platos del menú. Todos son exquisitos y en realidad una gran relación calidad-precio. La hamburguesa de ternera wagyu que recomiendo! ** Necesitas pedir esto por lo menos uno o dos días antes, pero vale la pena y significa que estás obteniendo los mejores / más frescos productos sin desperdicio. Creo que eso es lo que también mantiene los precios muy razonables. El onigiri de pato asado fue excepcional! ¡Muy sabroso y moruno! El Kushiyaki... ¡OMGGGGG! ¡Sensación de sabor! Probamos la costilla corta de ternera, pollo y cerdo. Tan suculento y lleno de sabor 10/10. ¡El pescado con papas fritas, delicioso! Muy fresco y no seco en absoluto. Gran tamaño de porción y relación calidad-precio. El curry Katsu es uno de mis favoritos en glasgow. Gran tamaño de porción, y da en el punto! La sopa, me encanta la sopa!... Cambia de vez en cuando, pero nunca decepciona. Gran selección de bebidas y postres! Volveremos pronto < 3

This is one of those hidden gems. It looks primarily like a takeaway place but they have seating upstairs. The food is simply great. Everything we ordered was good. Portion sizes were very good. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. I am already planning my next visit ;)

They delayed the delivery time over an hour and everything was cold.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! Ordered a WAGYU BEEF DONBURI costing £29.00, but the worst thing was the wagyu beef was not WAGYU, and some of it was still raw and pink. The worst thing has got to be that the apparently Wagyu beef was actually beef that I had gotten before in a Chinese supermarket for hot pot. Don’t know how this place could manage to make it taste so disgusting and stinky. And still have the audacity to state that it’s WAGYU and charge it at such an expensive price. Not only did we get scammed, but due to it being raw, it gave my son food poisoning. The food was so bad that we couldn't finish it and also didn't ask to take it away due to it being completely not EDIBLE. As can be seen in the photo I have provided down below the beef is very thinly sliced hot pot beef not what they state as Wagyu and charging people £29.00 is shocking and unbelievable.

The food itself was nice but everything else was really poor. The restaurant was freezing with icy cold blasts every time the door opened which was a lot. People round our table sat with outdoor coats on. Instead that table should have been taken out of service. Then when we ordered a Samurai each we were told we wouldn't need one each there was so much we should share. Hmm well unfortunately we took the advice but It was not good at all. How can you share soup? Then when the food e.g. the sea bass, vegetables were served it was put on one of our plates and we had to awkwardly cut it and share it between plates. We may be slim however we can still manage to eat a full dinner each. We would have ordered more than 1 drink but the service was so slow. Many empty glasses I noticed round our table. We had been so cold that instead of continuing our night in Glasgow we proceed to go home to defrost.

I was in here a few weeks ago with my mum and sad to say it’s gone really downhill. The refurb has totally ruined what was once a lovely atmosphere and is now very tacky and in your face. The food has also gone downhill with most of the food seeming like it had been taken straight out the freezer, heated up and put on your plate. The food here used to be incredible and felt very authentic. Also the wine list consists on one red, one white, and one fizz. Lack of options were disappointing. Really used to love it here but will now not return. Really sad to see such an incredible place go so downhill.

Comida japonesa, cerveza italiana y country y música occidental! Un combo extraño, pero extrañamente funciona! La comida era excelente, al igual que el amable servicio atento. Lamentablemente no hay cerveza japonesa disponible, así que italiano fue una segunda opción. La música country no es mi gusto, algo más apropiado hubiera sido mejor, pero supongo que no hay contabilidad del gusto! En general, disfruté de mi primera visita y sin duda volvería en el futuro.

Encantadora cena temprana con mi marido en esushi. La comida era increíble, fresca, sabrosa y tuvimos el mejor ramen. El camarero era un hombre encantador, muy atento y acogedor. Los precios son fabulosos! £ 55 para tres entrantes, dos principales y una botella de vino. Gran valor. El restaurante también es hermoso, con un montón de pequeñas áreas cerradas para la privacidad. ¡Mi nuevo spot japonés favorito!

L'endroit est chaleureux, cosy, et l'accueil suit le mouvement !! J'ai pris des ramen au bœuf et curry, un vrai délice, un petit bol de légumes épicés par gourmandise, car le plat de ramen est généreux. Tout était très bon, les sushis avaient l'air très bon aussi, mais il fallait faire un choix !! Je conseil

Podría parpadear y perderse este restaurante, el frente es bastante pequeño y también se conoce como Rice Time. El interior es más de estilo café que restaurante elegante, aunque sí tienen licencia de alcohol. El inconveniente es que puede ser ruidoso, solo charla fuerte de otros comensales! Hay habitaciones privadas y de karaoke arriba, los baños están arriba, no vi un inodoro para discapacitados, pero podría haber uno en el nivel del suelo. El personal es amable, el servicio es rápido. El menú es auténtico japonés, he viajado por Japón un par de veces. Hay numerosos platos con un montón de opciones, incluyendo vegano y vegetariano. Los otros platos asiáticos del SE también son auténticos, han viajado por allí. Las porciones son de un tamaño generoso y los precios son muy buenos. Todos disfrutamos de nuestra comida y probablemente volveríamos. Me gustó la variedad de tés, habría tomado el helado matcha pero estaban fuera de ella.

We got the latte with oat milk and gingerbread syrup, and the matcha latte with oat milk. Both were good and just right on the sweetness scale for both. We don't like super sweet drinks. The decor is really cute. Definitely set up for social media selfies/ussies.

Good selection of sushi which they make to order. They also have a fridge with some takeaway sushi packs. Both the sushi and poke bowls are really nice. There are tables if you want to dine in. My only criticism is that the sushi rolls had slightly too much rice for the amount of filling. Really like this place and will be back.
