Food was good - staff were very pleasant and friendly - would have given 4 or 5 stars but find the attempts to add on charges to the meal without giving proper notice or offering a choice to the customer spoiled the experience making you feel exploited - when I questioned this the waiter told me that the manager tells them to do it. They offer prawn crackers the minute you sit down, which you then naturally assume are complementary (after all they are in most Chinese places, and are very cheap basic items) ; but turns out they charge for them without telling you, then after the meal they add a 12.5% ‘service charge’ - ( I was happy to leave a tip and intended doing so )- but they add it on to the bill without asking if you want to pay it! - there is no warning or notice of these charges and these tactics are unacceptable and a real shame - if they need the extra 12.5% then just add it to the meal price so you know what you are paying! I always tip unless I have good reason not to!

This is kind of fun, you cook your own meat on a small table bbq. It was all very salty and prob a bit over cooked, admittedly by us - but we had fun. The big prob was we took the set menu for three, but when the food came there was more than enough for 4 big eaters. We had to cram it all n. Then got charged for a meal for 4 when we were only a 3 and had made that clear. £60 was on drinks, but the total bill for 3 was £230 which is super pricey! Wouldn’t go back as this is terrible value and it’s more gimmicky than tasty.

This is a fast food sushi and bento establishment. Their logo drew me in. I had a pre-rolled Dragon Roll and a Sweet Chili Chicken Bento. The roll and bento were both flavorful and satisfying. I wonder how much better they would taste if I could have them freshly made. It was a quick process to pick up the food and pay for it. If you want a fast, fresh and good meal, this is a good choice.

We have been to this restaurant a few times before and the food has always been good. Went for lunch with our young children last Saturday. There was only one waiter for the entire restaurant. He took our orders (katsu curry, rice, sashimi) after 15 minutes of waiting. The sashimi and rice came after 20 minutes but the curry never came. We were very patient and waited for a whole HOUR!!! We asked the waiter and he just kept making excuses (clearly they forgot the order). No apologies at all from the waiter. We decided to leave and they had the audacity to ask for payment. W asked to speak with the manager who said he was too busy to attend to us. VERY POOR experience and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone.

Service was mixed. A couple of the staff were really nice but the others really quite rude and also gave us dirty looks when asking for a drink. We also were not asked if we wanted meat of veggie options for the some of the food. We were just asked for any allergies so when we then went to ask to have the veggie option they said we had no choice now it was too late and we were having chicken as we didn’t say before, but we were not asked so how would we know. Not ideal when I don’t eat meat and had to pay £55 for food I couldn’t eat. Additionally the lady in the toilets was so rude and snatched tissues out of my hand when I tried to dry my hands and was generally just not nice. Not a nice addition to a fairly high priced brunch. The food as a whole was good but didn’t appreciate having to pay our bill without receipt 10-20 minutes into the brunch with a service charge before we’d even had the service which I wouldn’t have paid for had I have experienced it before we paid. Have to said the food and drinks were not bad for the money but some of the staff could really be a lot friendlier and not make you feel like your an inconvenience to be there, it’s quite sad.

I've been here a couple of times, and the pancakes are always good! This is a cute, aesthetic spot to go and enjoy a dessert. Highly recommend :)

We coming with all the powerroofing team eat here all the time and it is always excellent. The best food anywhere around here. The staff are always helpful and welcoming, especially Kay. We love the onion & chilli bhaji, paneer dishes are lovely, all foods and service is really good. They also do a buffet price which is great value. Top marks !

We were seated and waited on immediately, despite it being very busy. I dropped one of my chopsticks on the floor before our food arrived and the waitress quickly hurried over with another set without being asked - she very attentive. The cocktails were good, although nothing out of the ordinary. The food on the other hand was outstanding; authentic, flavourful and fresh. There were two of us and we shared the smokey king rolls, spicy hamachi rolls, spice tuna rolls, KFC and tofu karaage. It was enough for two and I’d each recommend every dish! Nice atmosphere and really friendly staff.

Popped in for a quick lunch. I had the chicken katsu with rice and a side of karaage chicken with yuzu mayo. Katsu was really good, chicken crispy and sauce thick. Karaage chicken was nice, not sure about the mayo. I had an ice tea drink. All came to £17.00. I believe it was worth it and would return.

I work nearby and have done for 25 years I know all the local restaurants. Fushan is by far my favourite. The quality of the food( Japanese) is superb, the portions more than adequate and for a Japanese restaurant the prices are very reasonable. Staff are efficient and courteous. I have never had an unsatisfactory meal or less than perfect experience here. Highly recommended.
