Ordered from here multiple times now and they decline it every time - if you're not open, don't make people wait half an hour for an order that is going to be cancelled- it is very, very annoying

Didn't arrive - ever! No updates in the app; the order just looked like it had delivered . Eventually called and told that driver had had an accident but no way to deliver at all because no other drivers. As we could reorder from a different restaurant (who magically had drivers) this was not super impressive.

Food arrived over 30 minutes late. Hot dishes were stone cold and therefore basically inedible. Definitely would not order from here again.

The place was very quite, spacious and fancy decorated. Fish was fresh, service kind and fast. Easy to find, is really close to Southwark station. highly recommended!

Tucked away but glad we stumbled upon it.... good sushi find. Pity there wasn't any discount for stay at the hotel around the corner as we would've ordered when we returned from the Lord Mayor's show.

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to say that my experience with Flying Fish Sushi was great, however I have to say that the way Just Eat operates is not good in any capacity. It’s virtually impossible to contact them because of that stupid artificial drone they have monitoring the message system. I was left hanging in that chat thing for 40 mins before they cut me off, trying to speak to someone is impossible, because of there negligence my evening was ruined as my food ended up 1 and half hours late. Just Eats didn’t even bother to send me an email to apologise, I just got an email asking to rate the food when in actuality it had even been delivered. Terrible service..

Food was nice albeit soggy rather than crunchy topping. Probably due to it taking so long to get to me, received 30 minutes after advised delivery time.

The food was really delicious, the taste as expected ( I had unpleasant surprises from other restaurants). Keep up the good job!

Hidden away but at the same time easy to get to, it’s a great little spot for lunch. Never too busy but the food is fresh and tasty. Recommend the ceviche and seaweed salad. The donburi dishes are also very tasty. Decent vegetarian options too on the menu. I always have the tori Kara age as one of the best in London. Don’t let the quiet aura mislead as it’s great!

Not the most great experience as food was suppose to be delivered at 8:05 and arrived at 9:06. They were having kitchen problems which was understandable but prior to us calling they gave no update.

25mn late, food arrived cold, some stuff were missing (soy sauce). Portions are a bit small for the price.

I work in the area and absolutely love this place. The service is super friendly and food is always delicious. Been here with friends, for business meetings, and with my boyfriend, every time everyone left satisfied and happy :)

Pricy but way the best sushi takeway i have had so far through Just Eat!

We've had take away from here a few times, the last time we realised they hadn't incl soy sauce, wasabi or ginger- we assumed they forgot as we've always had it before- and I would say is the norm for any Sushi to have this included. When we ordered again on Sunday night, we were really disappointed that it wasn't included. Whenever you buy sushi in shops/ super markets, or go to a restaurant, they always provide these, so we didn't think that we would need to add these. When you're paying £50 for a take away for 2, I do expect that it would include these. You get given poppadoms for free on orders over £20, from an Indian take away, Prawn crackers from a Chinese- neither of which I think are 'essential' to the meal. If they are now not going to include these- they should highlight, so you know to order them. They gave us mayo- for the chicken (I'm sure this used to be chili mayo) which I found strange- as I would say this is probably something that a lot of households in the UK would have, whereas wasabi and pickled ginger is less likely. The food was good- but just disappointing and a bit tight not to include wasabi/ginger and soy, I wouldn't order a curry without the sauce. Thankfully we had soy - just not the other ingredients. I suggest that they highlight that this isn't included, or for the sake of a few pence include it.

Came for a quick lunch when we were in the area. Really enjoyed the vegetarian sushi platter as I don't eat fish which can sometimes lead to boring meals at sushi restaurants. Quick and friendly service with a relaxed atmosphere, would definitely visit again. :)

food quality very good but very poorly presentation . All packages look like they were finished by a 5 years toddler. At the end didn’t know what I was eating because was all together.

When ordered said 8.10 but when it was tome tk be delivered it changed to 8.20 then it arrived 8.25

The food was not up to its usual standard, the crab was soggy and looked a bit like it had salmon leftovers moulded on top , no crispy extras - the Duck sushi was ok - a bit chewy, then I bought 2 different puddings, costing different prices that ended up being the exactly same thing. And I can understand delivery being difficult in adverse weather but it didn't help with it wasn't nice and really too expensive for what I received ...

The sushi was fantastic. The only thing I wasn't sure of was the noodles as they were a bit oily. Would definitely order again though!

They failed to include soy sauce, wasabi and ginger even though it was on the order and we even ordered extra (i.e. paid for it!). Sushi itself was good.

Delivery driver kept phoning saying he was there but wasn’t. I let him in and he went to the wrong door. Food was cold, soggy, not good, and small portions especially given how expensive it was. Will never order again.

Best take-away sushi! First time ordered and didn’t get disappoint as used to get by the other places. Quite tasty and consistent! Great service and quick delivery!

Have ordered from here before and had no issues. Unfortunately this latest order was extremely late and as a result the food was completely cold on arrival. The delivery driver went to the wrong address and called up several times for directions despite not understanding English. When making a complaint to the restaurant I was told three times that a manager would return my call. Finally when calling again, I was told that the manager was not interested in my complaint and I should go ahead and right a bad review. Here is the bad review.

The Kara age was cold considering it’s a deep fried dish shouldn’t be so I’m guessing it wasn’t freshly prepared

Sushi regular rolls looked tired and tiny. 6 rolls really, but made into 8 tiny ones, so that you are duped into thinking your getting more for your money. 30p charge per item for for soy, wasabi, ginger...ridiculous rip off! On top of such tight portions and add-on charges, they also delivered half hour late. Better value and more reliable sushi joints out there!

Food was great as always. Especially Spicy Salmon Gunkan Nigiri. It would be great if the food arrived at the time requested as I was putting the bay down to sleep and If he wasn't asleep I wouldn't be able to get the delivery. Will definitely order again though

Flying Fish Sushi is in a very handy location if you have been visiting Shakespeares Globe or the Tate Modern Art Gallery. The portion sizes are generous which is great, although the rice was found to not be great. I prefer my rice a bit stickier but that might just be me. The restaurant is vegan friendly with my girlfriend thoroughly enjoying her Tofu and Aubergine Donburi. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki which was good however I would have preferred more vegetables than just two bits of broccoli accompanying the chicken. Flying Fish Sushi is a solid place to go for food but nothing special unfortunately. Although the interior decorations are quite nice and comforting!

The food from here is usually really good but today the salmon definitely wasn’t fresh. It tasted weird and had a dodgy texture. I rang to complain and the person who answered wasn’t very helpful. Just Eat sorted it out in the end though which was excellent.

Food quality amazing but the delivery was a little on the slow side if I had to be picky! Otherwise fantastic

Was amazing to meet Mark today and sample his delicious menu - melt in the mouth sushi and sashimi, unique decor and delicious green tea. Wish we could have stayed longer and had an Asahi or tried the saki. Good luck with the pop up in Brixton

Probably the worst quality Japanese food I've had in London. Can't fault the service or delivery though!

Forth time ordering here in a time span of less than 2 months, and always satisfied. Will order again soon.. especially the tiger roll + spicy mayonnaise sauce which is the best sushi roll I have ever had in my life! (in my opinion)

They didn’t send soya, wasabi or ginger.. just some pickle cube carrot and cucumber. But the food was Super good quality I’ll order again for sure.

They did not even provide Wasabi or enough Soy sauce. I ordered two boxes of sushi and I did select the sides for the order. yet I only got one soy sauce serving and nothing else. What kind of japanese restaurant that does not give out wasabi or enough soy sauce.

Oof very fishy udon, like it had been sat in a counter for ages, and my tuna hand roll didn’t taste fresh at all and had a slightly spongy texture. Tuna also looked like it had been mashed and shoved into the roll. Not a great one. Avoid.

Got takeaway from here a few years ago, and loved it. Was really happy to be somewhere that it delivers to again. But tonight I was given really old tuna in my roll, to the point I feel quite unwell, and I'm very disappointed. The rest was sub par too. I was happy to pay more for Flying Fish because I thought they were high quality, but I won’t order from here again.

Edemame was frozen. I asked for additional soy, but only received one little plastic bottle, whcihc was not enough for the amount of sushi I had ordered.

miso soup could have been warmer but otherwise very good, as usual!

Every time I’m over this side of London and I’m hungry, there is only one place to go. This has to be one of the best places around for amazing food and Sushi, brilliant service, decor and lighting. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Coincidence or magic, shortly after eating this myself and my partner were both violently unwell. A shame, as we’ve had it before and it was fine.

Soggy rice...the star of the show should be perfect. Nice chicken karrage. No wasabi included only the extra one I ordered. Lucky I did that eh!

Food arrived cold which is great for sushi but not so good for dim sum and crispy squid. The dim sum was really fried, very greasy. The wasabi portion for the sushi was very small. Wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great for £20.

the 1st time we ordered from here, the food was extremely delayed in being delivered. however, the staff werekind and so gave us a free meal to make up for their mistake.

for some reason they have started putting less spicy mayo in the mayo pot. I always order 2 pots. do I have to order 4 now. you’ve lost me. you can tell when the quality starts to slip.

Food was good but a little pricey.

Sadly the food we got was just awful. The soups were tasteless water and arrived tepid. They would be bad enough on their own for for £13 we expected so much more. The katsu crurry was okay, slightly below average, but at £10 way over priced for what we got.

Awful. Ordered the katsu curry and it was completely soggy and ice cold when it got here... I don't understand why the restaurant wouldn't put the sauce in a separate pot as many others do... The sushi looked diseased and had some weird plastic-y flakes coming off the top. I didn't even eat it I threw it straight away. Won't be ordering again and quite frankly feel as if I've wasted my money

First time ordering with flying fish sushi, the food was delivered early and everything was extremely fresh and flavoury. I highly recommend this place, and will order again very soon!

This was a disappointing experience. We were hungry and looking forward to our food, but it took 1h 1/2 to come and by that time the tempura were cold and soggy. The rolls were very average. On the plus side, the delivery man was polite and friendly. We won’t be ordering from here again.

Despite a mix up with orders, one phone call and they sent the missing piece within 5-10 mins. very quick to correct the issue.
