Shibuya soho in City of London, Westminster

I ate one shortcake yesterday. Taste like old whipped cream. I think it’s better to threw away if it’s getting old. Costed 6.5£ for old taste cake.

I ordered yuzu sparkling water and thought I'd sit in the store for a while before leaving. After sitting there for less than 15 minutes, a male waiter came over to me and told me that because I was only one person, and then some people who came in late were outnumbered by me, they needed to let me make room for them. Wow, I was so confused at that moment, it was ridiculous. The store is set up with only tables for four, why not have tables for two or single tables? Or why not choose to solve the problem by asking both parties if they are sharing a table? Instead, they just kicked me out? So bad. The yuzu sparkling water also exploded and was awful. Please don't come. 売っている飲み物は特に不味いので、来ないでください。

I have been looking for this specific cheese katsu for the last year. I loved having these when I lived in Korea and honestly it was really good. It’s a bit pricey for what you get but I was satisfied. The black sesame latte was also really nice. I also hear great things about their cakes too. Wouldn’t go for other foods because I think there are better value for money places, but would definitely return for the cheese katsu.

Customer service is at it's worst! I ordered Strawberry shortbread and the chocolate cake, while ordering I told the lady what I wanted and also pointed out the last one in the corner. I picked the order and we were also waiting for the fluffy pancakes for the next shop. While I went to pick up my order my children opened it and tried the cake as they thought it's the chocolate, which was Matcha! Yes obviously they had couple spoonful as it was my younger boys who were excited! I went back to say you gave me the wrong order, the whole team had ganged up, the manager started saying that she heard I ordered Matcha! I said I didn't! I know what I ordered. And they were rude to the point it started creating a drama! You need to go to Learn customer service, customer is saying they didn't order it, I was accused that I tried it and that it was misunderstanding. I said I don't want anything back but acknowledge the fact that you didn't give me the correct order! Nothing happened and you showed disgusting manners and selling items labelling as Japanese food but this is no where near Japanese manners or culture. I have never had experienced so poor customer service. I couldn't rate below 1! It's a shame!

Their cruffle is the best! I hope they expand to a bigger space as the seats are very limited for dine-in

omurice sauce was way too sweet miso soup was way too salty (and yes it's saltier than normal miso soup) £4.1 for a tiny katsu

I’ve tried the Cinnamon Croffle twice. The first time I tried it, it was freshly made and it was delectable the whip cream they add on top is so light and refreshing. The second time I’ve tried it, the croffle was a bit too stale. Still would recommend it if you get by the store while it’s freshly made

A cozy place, spectacular desserts and very good service.

1st time going here. No forks are given,so you need to be able to eat with chopsticks,which I can so that was not a problem. Had the chicken teriyaki.The rice didn't turn up and had to tell them and they brang it. Some of the chicken had fat on it,but other than that the miso and rice was good. The down side is that they only 4 tables for sitting in.

I went there recently with my friends, the staff were really nice and the food tasted super good.I’m sorry I don’t have any pictures but this place is giving school girl hangout vibes, I took some cute pictures with my friends. Although the the queue is long, it’s worth waiting(and ofc the line is long, the food there is good. Probs why the line is long) approximately I waited 15-20mins for the seats which I’d say it’s quick since I’ve waited an hour for other restaurants before. I’d recommend bringing your family and friend here to create memories together.⭐️🪽

My friends and I stopped in Shibuya Soho for a little post-dinner treat ahead of seeing a musical at a nearby theatre. Upon entering the store, there were cases with croffles and cakes on display and some seating. What we got: - Strawberry Shortcake - Lemon Poppyseed Roll cake - Matcha Roll cake - Tiramisu Croffle Final Thoughts: The cakes were all quite good, but I thought the croffle would be made fresh or at least warmed up which it wasn't. The cakes were also served on paper plates which I think took away from the ambience of the cafe a bit. Overall okay and the other photos I've seen of bingsu and food look good so I'd come back to try again.

Earlier today was the first time visiting and the food was delicious 😋 Service was good and the staff were friendly too. It wasn't' too busy when I visited today as well.

Very cute and tucked away place. It was a bit small so there was just a little section of seating, but to be fair it IS in the city. We were really hungry and tried the curry udon which was really good! There was a lot of beef in it too! I wish I had a chance to try the cakes and croffles as they looked delicious! Perhaps next time!

Had came a few times but unluckily had a long queue for the previous times. David and Jahanvi were very nice and helpful when we ordered. We asked for recommendations and they recommended strawberry cake which I liked a lot!! Would recommend coming back :)

Love this place but extremely devastated for the lack of bingsoo. RIP you’ll be missed. The cakes are still lovely though!

We ordered the “Strawberry shortcake and mango bingsu”. Definitely recommend the strawberry shortcake, it was perfectly sweet and refreshing. The mango bingsu didn’t hit the same. We had to wait quite a long time for seating and the seating area is quite small which is disappointing. Overall I think its worth visiting to try something different to your typical desserts.

Got a waffle for half price after 10pm. Was not very fresh as its likely been out all day and that is why they have discounted it

Food was excellent but expect to wait for 20-40mins to be sat if you want to sit inside. Place is too small for their offer but staff were trying their best to help

Expect a queue as there is very limited space. The bingsu is excellent. I haven’t found another place in london that does the roasted soybean bingsu, so I always come here when I crave it.

Small place with only four tables. The cake was alright but the bingsu was good. The tea was good. And the price is alright. Overal nice place to chill after dinner for some desserts but nothing too special.

The loose tie is delicious, and the grapefruit tea is also delicious, a little sweet.

Sadly, have to rate this a 1-star for their Bingsu. Ordered a matcha bingsu and the whole plate was mainly shaved ice with little taste or toppings. Felt like the matcha topping could have been more generous and could have done with more toppings like fruit, for example. Quite disappointing

Shibuya is a gem for Korean desserts. The bingsu is light and refreshing with well-balanced flavours, while the croffles are perfectly crispy and buttery. A cozy place with delicious desserts!

It was shaved ice that was perfect for hot weather! The matcha latte was also savory and refreshing~

I visited this dessert shop in Soho with my friends around 10 PM the 13th August, and it was an absolute nightmare. The service was horrible from the start. The three staff members were more interested in chitchatting among themselves than taking our orders. They weren’t welcoming or nice at all. We ordered our bingsu one by one and waited inside the shop for everyone to get their orders. The reason we stayed inside was because the entrance was blocked by the staff’s friends, who were unbelievably loud and obnoxious. It was impossible to stand outside without being overwhelmed by the noise. To make matters worse, the staff had the nerve to ask us to leave while we were just waiting quietly. We were already annoyed by their loud friends, but we tried to step aside and be polite. However, when we stepped back in because their friends were blocking the entrance, one of the staff’s friends spoke rudely to us in Korean. I overheard and responded, explaining that we were just waiting for our friends to get their orders and couldn’t stand outside because they were blocking the front and being ridiculously loud. Staffs was busy laughing and chitchatting with their friends 😆 To top it all off, we all saw the staff give her friend a croissant for free. This kind of unprofessional behavior. This was supposed to be a special farewell night out, but it was completely ruined by this awful experience. I will never go back, and I definitely won’t recommend this place to anyone.

I had an amazing experience visiting today. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcoming and the bingsu was incredibly delicious. One of the staff a tall girl was so kind and generous and made our experience really good 😊 Definitely gonna go back there and would highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful experience in the city centre!! 🤩

Shaved mango ice Bingsu was great. Staff taking orders was very dismissive. I was also told to wait outside for my food. I thought it was unnecessary as my order was 1 item and the store wasn’t busy at all. After being told to move I received my order 60 seconds after. Pretty rude as the order was short, and the staff member who asked me to move knew I was getting only 1 Bingsu, I could have stayed inside just another minute. Take away size is so much smaller than the eat in which is unfortunate as I wanted to sit and eat but there’s clearly only two small tables. I have no issue with that since the seating area is small and I understand but I would then appreciate a larger container for the shaved ice (I was given it in a coffee cup essentially).

Very bad service, all staff especially Indian(maybe) girl so bad, customer want to go to toilet but she said staff clean already customer can’t use the toilet but we pay for 4 Bingsu, and staff let’s us to waiting outside and staff’s friends come to talk louder but customers need to waiting outside!!!!

Came here for desserts and asked for a restroom but one of the staff didn’t allow us to use it because she said “ we cleaned already so it can’t be used” what a disappointment since we’ve been here so many times because the dessert was great but service was not really nice

The roll cakes were very good, the atmosphere was really nice despite the busy streets. The employees greeted us with a smile and were quick to take our orders

Got myself a miso and coffee, atmosphere inside was calming and grounding compared to the bustling streets it’s located in. Perfect for a quick getaway and a relaxing sit down. Prices are expected for its location.

This is my favourite place to go to. I asked my daughter to come here every single day. I will go back here next year.

Love the BINGSU! Shaved ice is super lightweight and delicious! There’s usually long queues here but I went in for a quick take away!!

Horrible customer service and we felt very unwelcome by staff, especially the lady at the counter with the red lipstick who kept insisting we get takeaway although we kept telling her we want to eat in. Good bingsu but the staff completely ruined the experience.

Tastes nice, but do ask customers who finished food out in busy time, the place is quite hot and spacing between customers are really tiny, some ppl need to squeeze to walk through.

This would have been a five because the desserts were quite decadent. The croffle was amazing and also the binsu! The place is very small though especially for big groups.

Bingsu was exceptionally delicious! Milky shaved ice with the bitter matcha powder that pair well with the red beans. The nutty kinako red bean was great too! Matcha Swiss roll was delicious. Black sesame cheesecake was rather dry though. Small seating of 10pax and we could only dine in for approx 30mins. Queue can get pretty long during peak hours.

The opening hours on Google maps say the cafe closes at 11 PM but a worker on Friday closed the door on me at 10:30 PM despite the cafe being completely empty. Very disappointing given that I had travelled from quite far to try the cafe. Amend your opening times on Google or just not bother putting any up on Google next time.

I was waiting 15 outside for a table and there was no one with me waiting. when I saw a free table they told me it’s not my turn.

I went there for the omurice, I had the veggie and it was very good, the staff is very nice, the service fast, I recommend! And their kpop playlist was super stylish

I had absolutely TERRIBLE experience in here!!! Me and my friend were waiting outside for sited, while there were a couple came after us. The person who works at the cash till invited the couple in first instead of us. I went inside and asked, and they told us we were in the wrong queue for take away? We didn’t even got the chance to order, and there wasn’t any signs for takeaway queue. Is it because we had Asian looking, so ignored us? I have been here for few times, never been treated like this before, I was recommended to all my friends, never gonna to this again, absolutely ridiculous.

Shibuya offers a good variety of desserts upstairs - cakes, waffles, and bingsoo. This is of good value considering we are in central London. But I have ones that taste better in New Malden (Korean town). Still a decent choice if it is hot summer and you are seeking for Bingsoo in soho.

The beef teriyaki is mouth wateringly good, I've had this meal probably over 50 times.

So stupid. Just a few seats in the shop and you need to wait for 20 mins. There are stools for waiting but you can’t eat while sitting on them. It’s the first time and also will be the last time I visit the place

Perfect! The interier is rather small (another person was sat at my table, but we had a great talk), but the Oolong and matcha are out of this world

Such a cute little authentic Japanese shop, cakes are a little expensive but so worth it, such a relaxing vibe inside! The sparkling yuzu drink is amazing too.

I recently visited Shibuya and tried their signature bingsu, and it was a delightful experience! The taste was refreshingly different, with a unique blend of flavors that stood out. The texture of the bingsu was perfectly light and fluffy, making it an enjoyable treat. The presentation was also impressive, adding to the overall experience. While it was slightly on the pricier side, the quality and distinctiveness of the dessert made it worth it. I highly recommend giving Shibuya's signature bingsu a try for a tasty and memorable dessert! Four stars from me!

Busy shop. We bought the waffle with matcha powder. It’s good.

The environment is very dirty, the chairs are very unclean and have accumulated all kinds of dust, and the dining space is very small

overpriced, overcrowned and the taste is not good at all, not recommended for anything who actually interested in dessert.

Cosy Japanese style cafe in Soho - has great desserts like shaved ice bingsu (plenty of flavors), croiffle and good coffee. Normally a queue outside so do plan ahead. Service is good, you’ll have to order/pay at the counter before sitting down. Take away available too.

The staffs are nice, but the table smells very bad like vomit, we guess it’s because of the table cloth. The cake really doesn’t taste good, not worth the money. We didn’t try the binsu or other meals, but won’t want to go back.

Great little place for bingsu in Soho! Have been going for years and never disappoints. Recommend the peach, mango, and the matcha. It is a bit cramped, but to be expected given the small size.

Extremely rude staff. We walked in and asked how long the wait would be. An East-Asian lady with really thin eyebrows and a super pale face, hair tied up, just tells us straight up to wait outside. We mentioned it was pouring rain, and all she said was 'I know.' Inside, there were only two people sitting down, so there was plenty of space for us to stand. But we still tried to go outside. Just as we were waiting by the door, someone else comes in, so we're still stuck inside. Then she comes out of nowhere and yells, 'That's why I told you to wait outside.' Like, seriously??

quality has gone down over the last couple years (i’ve been going for a very long time now!) but it’s still a good dessert place. the strawberry shortcake bingsu is my favourite, though on the pricier side.

Comparatively inexpensive (for London) and excellent. The fish is delicious and the bento are plentiful. And Lisa was a great host for our lunch !

Bing ice cream not great anymore. More like shaved ice now, watery and you get charged for a tiny extra condensed milk. Service not great. Definitely not worth the queue.
