Customer service is at it's worst! I ordered Strawberry shortbread and the chocolate cake, while ordering I told the lady what I wanted and also pointed out the last one in the corner. I picked the order and we were also waiting for the fluffy pancakes for the next shop. While I went to pick up my order my children opened it and tried the cake as they thought it's the chocolate, which was Matcha! Yes obviously they had couple spoonful as it was my younger boys who were excited! I went back to say you gave me the wrong order, the whole team had ganged up, the manager started saying that she heard I ordered Matcha! I said I didn't! I know what I ordered. And they were rude to the point it started creating a drama! You need to go to Learn customer service, customer is saying they didn't order it, I was accused that I tried it and that it was misunderstanding. I said I don't want anything back but acknowledge the fact that you didn't give me the correct order! Nothing happened and you showed disgusting manners and selling items labelling and Japanese food but this is no where near Japanese manners or culture. I have never had experience so poor customer service. I couldn't rate below 1! It's a shame!

The opening hours on Google maps say the cafe closes at 11 PM but a worker on Friday closed the door on me at 10:30 PM despite the cafe being completely empty. Very disappointing given that I had travelled from quite far to try the cafe. Amend your opening times on Google or just not bother putting any up on Google next time.

Bingsu was exceptionally delicious! Milky shaved ice with the bitter matcha powder that pair well with the red beans. The nutty kinako red bean was great too! Matcha Swiss roll was delicious. Black sesame cheesecake was rather dry though. Small seating of 10pax and we could only dine in for approx 30mins. Queue can get pretty long during peak hours.

I had absolutely TERRIBLE experience in here!!! Me and my friend were waiting outside for sited, while there were a couple came after us. The person who works at the cash till invited the couple in first instead of us. I went inside and asked, and they told us we were in the wrong queue for take away? We didn’t even got the chance to order, and there wasn’t any signs for takeaway queue. Is it because we had Asian looking, so ignored us? I have been here for few times, never been treated like this before, I was recommended to all my friends, never gonna to this again, absolutely ridiculous.

Shibuya offers a good variety of desserts upstairs - cakes, waffles, and bingsoo. This is of good value considering we are in central London. But I have ones that taste better in New Malden (Korean town). Still a decent choice if it is hot summer and you are seeking for Bingsoo in soho.

I recently visited Shibuya and tried their signature bingsu, and it was a delightful experience! The taste was refreshingly different, with a unique blend of flavors that stood out. The texture of the bingsu was perfectly light and fluffy, making it an enjoyable treat. The presentation was also impressive, adding to the overall experience. While it was slightly on the pricier side, the quality and distinctiveness of the dessert made it worth it. I highly recommend giving Shibuya's signature bingsu a try for a tasty and memorable dessert! Four stars from me!

Extremely rude staff. We walked in and asked how long the wait would be. An East-Asian lady with really thin eyebrows and a super pale face, hair tied up, just tells us straight up to wait outside. We mentioned it was pouring rain, and all she said was 'I know.' Inside, there were only two people sitting down, so there was plenty of space for us to stand. But we still tried to go outside. Just as we were waiting by the door, someone else comes in, so we're still stuck inside. Then she comes out of nowhere and yells, 'That's why I told you to wait outside.' Like, seriously??

Never had it before, so I'm not really sure if it is supposed to be like that. I'm not hard to please, so for me to give 3 stars on food is pretty telling. Cheese Katsu set looked good, and my wife liked it. A bit pricey but i guess it is competitive for central london. Small, cramped eating place and very dirty seats upstairs. The restaurant is very tiny and it was very busy, me and my friend queued if you wanna eat dine-in we waited 20mns. I ordered the shibuya omurice(£17.50)with pork katsu. Waited 15mns for our food. Mine was served first with the pork katsu. My friend’s food served after 20mns. I reminded them about my pork katsu but they forgot again I told to the skinny tall lady about it but I don’t wanna wait for another minute again. Takoyaki was deep fried and looks very old🥲 As you can see the picture compared to the other one that i took from google. My food was horrible and so much oil on it. The toilet is downstairs where you can see there kitchen. The chef was on the phone while cooking, and one of his colleague is washing his face on the sink kitchen while the wash room is just beside them🤢🤮 Desserts looks good except for the waffles that’s already been made and they just reheat it when someone orders.

Ordered 2 bingsu and an iced matcha here. Whilst it’s not the business’s fault that the restaurant was really crowded and busy, the quality was not up to standards and did not meet my expectations considering that is almost £8 for shaved ice. Whilst the shaved ice was ok, but underwhelming. The iced matcha was not salvageable. From the moment I received the drink, there was matcha clumps all sank to the bottom of the cup and it was impossible to mix it myself or avoid the clump. When I went with 3 friends, there was very limited seating, much less than shown in pictures by owners. Service was poor: no smiles when we asked what the cakes were and staff insisted we ordered before getting seated. After we ordered drinks and desserts and seated ourselves a larger group arrived, and the staff asked the 4 of us squeeze into one small table, so that the new guests who wanted to order food could have seats. The staff was not apologetic or friendly when asking us. When we asked if we could cancel our orders if they insisted we’d have to squeeze onto a small table, the staff just walked away (and processed our order as normal). Besides the poor service, the atmosphere was also spoilt by the smell from the deep fryer in the kitchen in the basement, which is not fully enclosed. So I left the cafe smelling of fried food. Taste of the earl grey roll cake was good, hence the two starts (otherwise only one star).

A mix of korean and japanese sweets. Went yesterday with some friends to eat in. At first we were informed that we could not sit, as we were 4 ppl and they only have 4 tables for 2 people each time. We didn't understood as we could just wait until 4 seats, but they asked us to wait outside to take away. That's odd but totally fine. A couple of min waiting, the tables were empty and we asked if we could sit, they agreed and we ordered more food to eat now having the peace of a table. 5 min later they asked us to leave again, as people was coming inside they wanted them to sit. Important thing: I'm disabled and use a walking stick. Bingsoo was very good, but one of we ordered came as croffle. As they gave us at the time that were leaving we just ignored the mistake. Croffle was ok, very sweet. Bingsoo - 9 out of 10 Croffle - 6 out of 10 Decoration - nice and clean aesthetic, but not so clean space. The seats were really dirty that the velvet finish had some sort of dry goo. Apart from that, nice colour choice. Accessibility - not at all, the door is small and a normal size wheelchair cannot enter. To sit there are 4 tables, but there's a small step to access. Moderate physical disability can handle but as I explained, sadly the staff is not trained at all to deal with it. During peak times avoid if sound sensitivity! Pet friendliness - not pet friendly Toilet - didn't check, don't know if they have.

This was one of the very first restaurants I tried in London and I remembered its glorious days... however a revisit last week turned out to be disappointing. The omelette rice was soaked in a sweet and sour sauce, but the sauce was so sweet that you can't taste anything else. The egg was overdone as well. The fried chicken that I ordered as extra (£4) was good though. I remembered this shop did amazing bingsu (shaved ice), so I was fairly looking forward to it despite my upsetting main dish. I'd say it's still probably the best bingsu you can get in London, but it has definitely gone downhill since I last visited years ago. Some of the ice was not properly shaved and collapsed into a flavorless ice cube. Also £30+ per person is too pricey for such a small shop with no service/atmosphere and mediocre food. Wont be coming back again.

The seating area is small, hence, the long queues normally. The kinako bingsu was excellent but we made the mistake of pouring the sweetened milk sauce on too early. Wait until you have eaten some of the bingsu first or else you risk just wasting the milk! We live for this roasted soybean flavour. It’s a generous one person portion. The strawberry shortcake is probably the best we have eaten - so light and checks the right sweetness level. They also do take away (same price). They have hot items as well and might try next time - fingers crossed for available seats! Hope they can expand or have more seats as it will be a really good business for them.

Went on a whim because I was in town on holiday and wanted to try something authentically Japanese that I could not find back home. Ordered omurice with pork katsu and a matcha latte. The latte was delicious, and the pork was crispy and very flavorful. The omurice was a bit mixed for me: on the one hand, the omelette was very good and the demi glace was packed full of flavor (and the pickled red onions were a very nice touch as well); however, I was a tad disappointed that the rice beneath it was not fried as I had been led to expect of the dish. Apart from that, the atmosphere and service were both great, and the staff were very personable and friendly.

- kinako (roasted soy bean) bingsu £7.50 shaved ice is quite a rare find in central london but shibuya makes a yummy one and at a relatively decent price! the main downside though is the seating space bc there are only 3-4 proper tables and since they are so popular, there is often a queue, which can get particularly long during peak times. we debated between the mango or kinako flavour but ended up going with the latter bc the staff recommended it. i don’t have kinako often but i love the flavour bc it is subtly sweet and nutty like sesame! despite being a simple addition, the red bean elevated it so much and we were surprised there was red bean both on top and inside. the shaved ice itself was super light and a big enough portion to share between two, making it a perfect not-too-heavy dessert!

Amazing strawberry milk roll cake! Ordered for takeaway, had a bite and it's so good to warrant writing this review just outside the cafe.

The queue is too long for the quality of the food. Katsu looks great but super dry. The only thing I might come back for is the mango bingsu , if there's no queue

This place is very busy and you will expect a line outside and inside. There’s not much seats inside so you will have to wait for 15-20 mins on average. We ordered the match bingsu, which was quite nice! Not too sweet and we liked the red bean paste in it😋 The manager (a Chinese man) was very rude and impatient but the other two staff (the girl and another Chinese boy) were friendly. DO NOT order cake rolls in the evening coz they turn hard when placed outside for a day :(

I wanted to inform you of an unpleasant experience I had today at this shop. I visited the shop to buy some desserts, but the seller at the counter was very racist and rude. He was nice to other customers, but with us he was very rude and wouldn't even take our orders or listen to our special requests. For example, when I asked to separate the two orders, he refused, while he asked another lady if she wanted to separate the cakes in two boxes. I am very disappointed with this behavior and wanted to make you aware of it. I believe that no customer should be treated differently based on race or any other factor, and this kind of behavior is not acceptable.

Got the strawberry bingsu - delicious! Lovely milk taste to the shaved ice with generous strawberry pieces and sauce throughout the cup.

The shop can be honest to show customers the price of dine-in. They just show the price without letting customers know that “this is just for take away”. The seat is very dirty, they have human resources in idle but no one do cleaning. Sadly, it’s too late as we have paid. Many customers have to speak loudly because of high volume of music. We have to get rid of the noise ASAP!!

We tried the strawberry and Mango Bingsu. It was alright but was really expecting more flavour wise. The strawberry flavour and mango flavour is just put on top of the shaved ice and as soon as you take the first few bites the flavours are gone and you’re left with plain milk shaved ice- not great - the fruit flavour should be throughout. Also in regards to the service - we had to wait 25mins for a table because they literally only have about 4 tables and it’s a small crammed shop. But once we got a table they brought the order promptly. However, overall I wouldn’t go back here.

Really nice spot, the service from Maxim at the Bishopsgate branch was on point 10/10! He was very attentive and helpful.
