We paid £15 for one sushi roll, we had a fantastic burger with fries and a side at the White Horse for the same price. Besides that, it took almost 30 minutes to get the first of three sushi rolls, then we had to wait again for the other two to arrive. It took so long to make, the rice was warm so the whole thing fell apart. I have eaten sushi all around the world, this did not work, we would have ordered more, to fill ourselves up, but weren't prepared to wait any more or pay that amount. The restaurant is unlicensed, and you have to pay for the tap water?

I had seen it a couple of times and wanted to try it out. We arrived at 1.15pm and it was empty but that soon changed. The lovely waiter showed us where to sit (it is a rather small place for about 10 people but there is open seating outside). We ordered a yakatori (succulent) to share for start, chicken sho-yu ramen and salmon terriyaki with rice. Amazing! The salmon was soft and tender, tasty sauce and the ramen was flavoursome. Not sure what some diners have said but it is well worth a visit. Sometimes it's best to try it for yourself to make judgement. And all reasonably priced.

The “Bath Landlady” has done a fantastic job at the pub. Was a pub with a reputation of Fosters lager, and some interesting people. Now it’s cool, with an excellent selection of drinks, it’s been stripped back and now feels like a proper pub, with plenty of live music and a hip clientele. As a former Bath pub landlord, this pub is bang on

Loved it! Ordered in lock down v2 and didn’t have to wait long to get our order ready. Every dish was incredibly good, the rolls, the chicken teriyaki, tempura and tori kara age. We will definitely come back and try more food, it’s been one of the best meals we have had in lock down.

Had my uncles 80th Birthday party here on Saturday night and even though the weather was rubbish the venue, food, service and overall was amazing. If I lived in Liverpool and needed somewhere for a party this would be the place. The bar prices was very reasonable and the staff were friendly and fun. Would recommend this place to anyone who is wanting a city centre party location.

Pretty good, but more westernised bento than I was expecting. The rice was tasty and the chicken and pork Katsu both well cooked. But it came with a simple salad and English mustard, rather than pickles and wasabi. The chicken dumpling was good. The main odd thing was that this was all served in one big box with no dividers - so the salad got soggy from the rice and the mustard was just plopped on the side of the rice. It’s a good, very quick meal, just not that authentic.

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and great staff! Went with friends and we enjoyed the seating outside for a drink in the sun and then moved inside for a good bottle of house white. The food is presented beautifully and tastes a good !Best dishes - black cod and prawn gyoza

This was our third visit to La Bibliotheque. The restaurant is a very welcome addition to the area and is deserving of its excellent reviews. It’s romantic and beautifully decorated, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The quality of the food on each occasion was really excellent, with dishes cleverly put together in terms of taste and texture. It is difficult to resist filling up on their truly delicious bread and flavoured butter at the start of the meal. On the three occasions we have visited there was no dish we didn’t enjoy, but the highlights on each occasion were the desserts, from a stunning beetroot cake with yoghurt to the incredible Tunworth ice cream with truffle and balsamic vinegar. Customer service really matters to this restaurant, and no review would be complete without mentioning Charlotte, who is a real gem and who looked after us brilliantly. We very much look forward to our next visit.

Came here to start off our little Birthday day out to treat my girlfriend who loves all things Japan. And we both HIGHLY recommend coming here! Let me just quickly summarise this place for the readers out there: - Knowledgeable, friendly and highly attentive staff - Amazing selection of sakes, cocktails, whiskeys, etc. - Food that's fresh and really tasty (highly recommend the Chicken Fry!) A bit of a hidden gem in Covent Garden that we'll definitely be back to for the sake flights and sake school! If you've been thinking about trying Japanese cuisine, or already love it, just get down here and enjoy yourself!
