The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Japanese food

I love it, I love it, I love it. Ventnor is a little short on good places to go for a drink but this place excels itself and the bar food is second to none - I mean really, when we have visitors we always bring them here and not one has come away without saying its better than anywhere they've been in London. Good value too, to boot. I love it here and you will too.

Ok. My taste buds were transported to Japan for a hot minute because the sushi sashimi platter was so fresh 🧑🏻‍🍳💋 great service and friendly staff as well, always came here for drinks but now they serve food as well, definitely will be back 💯

Overpriced and very average customer service. The food was okay but £20 for 10 pieces of sushi is really quite pricey and you can’t mix & match either. The service wasn’t great, my food came about 10 minutes before my friends and when we asked where it was she explained it had to be fried but gave no apology for the delay. The sushi itself was nice, the togarashi fries were very disappointing. Overall it was ok, I wouldn’t return as I think it’s very overpriced for what it is and I’ve had better sushi elsewhere.

This is a really great neighbourhood ramen/noodle bar. Just a few tables and window seat benches and was a little quiet when we went in early on Saturday evening (so we sat in the window and watched the world pass by). Menu has plenty of choice - shouldn't matter if you are veggie or vegan, but you will have less - there is a slight tendency to favouring meat-based dishes. Still, the quality was excellent. If I'm going to compare this to what you know the obvious choice is Wagamama: expect a quieter, calmer experience but one with altogether better food, a little more pricey - but definitely worth it. Should be easy to get to - on Ashley Road so walk there if you're local, get an M bus and walk a few metres or if you drive have a look for on road parking somewhere nearby. Will definitely be going again.

Melody was polite, friendly and fantastic, she went through the menu explaining the dishes really well which was a different experience for us. Wonderful food

We picked this restaurant as it was a short walk from the Turkish Baths & the food was amazing. We had one of the sushi sets, the cake board & tofu for starter - everything was really tasty & nicely presented!

We had three mixed platters and everything was absolutely delicious. We’ve eaten sushi in a number of places in the US and UK and this was our favourite family experience by far. Highly recommend.

Lovely Japanese Restaurant. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The food was also fantastic and they offer a nice range of options. We will be returning!

Amazing little sushi place. Our server was so funny and super helpful. Food arrived quickly and tasted amazing! Atmosphere was warm and welcoming and plan to return again soon.

Have eaten here twice and what beautiful food it is. A simple restaurant with only a handful of covers but the food was all all so fresh and tasty. Highly recommended
