Whenever I visit my daughter in London, this place is a must-visit for me. They serve incredibly satisfying portions of delicious food at reasonable prices. I've never been able to finish a whole dish because the portions are so huge! Although the place is small, the staff is absolutely fantastic. They make you feel right at home with their friendly and welcoming demeanor. It creates a cozy atmosphere that adds to the overall experience.

Dropped by Kakki Katsu on our way to a concert in The Victoria Dalston. It’s close to the station and look like a casual fast food restaurant. A few seats, no white tablecloths, but do not be fooled. Kakki Katsu is a Japanese restaurant. They served one of the better meals during this London trip. I followed the chefs recommendation and ordered Signature Chicken Katsu & Teriyaki and an Asahi Beer. Very tasty with fresh salad and spring onion. On the menu were other tempting dishes such as Ramen and Squid. The staff was very attentive. The order went efficiently through the QR code. It took a little while to wait for the food, but we understood that well. A constant rush of take-away suppliers gave the few in the staff a lot to do - and the reason is of course the quality of the food.

We had dinner here on Sunday night. What a revelation! We have spent a fair amount of time in Japan so wondered how it would compare. It compared very well indeed with many of the smaller cafes in Tokyo or Kyoto. The food was really good. Perfectly cooked, very tasty and the portions were huge. A great option for a meal out or delivery.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Dalston. Have tried the food in the restaurant several times and also ordered takeaway too. Never get disappointed! Salmon katsu, chicken katsu and chicken katsu carry are excellent! So fresh and tasty. Very reasonable prices. Friendly service. Definitely will pay a visit once the lockdown is over.

First time visiting, even though you're around the corner from my office, was not disappointed. Good customer service, food super tasty and made to feel welcome from the time we walked in until we left with our takeaway order. Highly recommend the Prawn Katsu and Chicken Katsu!!!

Went for my husband’s birthday with friends. Friendly service, good for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. Quick fresh food including starters great for sharing. Filling a gap in Dalston eating

Really tasty, fresh food with generous portions and well priced. We had the pan fried gyoza (delicious!) and edamame and then the chicken katsu set and chicken teriyaki/katsu set with rice. The staff were accommodating and friendly. This place has just opened nearby so maybe they’ll continue to decorate more over time but we will definitely be coming back.
