The best restaurants serving Italian food in Cardiff South Wales

Visited Cibo last year for lunch and while there was space at the restaurant, we were denied a table as my son was too young for a highchair and they apparently had "no room" for our pram (even with several empty tables). Shame as I've eaten at Cibo in the past and the food is generally good, but they clearly don't want my business any more.

Highly recommend, staff were great as was the food. Will definitely be returning

Went for a late pizza for 1, enthusiastically greeted by Amelia (vietnamese/welsh), Ilka and smiling pizzaioloa. They clearly knowledgable about the menu, helpful, attentive and very efficent in their roles. My order was taken swifly, cooked and received hot within 4 and half mins. I was impress all 5 teams members checking day doting food labelling & cleaning the whole time I was there, toilet not a spect of dirt too. Plenty of colouring packs for the little ones, Vegan and Gluten free options.

Bit of a barn being based in an old bank building , but the food, staff, and service are excellent. I particularly like their rustic pizzas and cannot eat a whole one so I generally cut it in half and take it home. Somewhat of an American tradition I found in the past year. I reckon for a fast food type place it's really jolly good. Better than most pizza places in Cardiff. Permanently closed. Being replaced by one of six by Nico.

Amazing service and food ! The staff and manager are always so lovely , welcoming and accommodating . The best and most authentic Italian eatery you could dine at , and perfection is served every time :)

Good food but they don’t supply straws on delivery which is really really annoying after spending so much

Always a pleasure to eat and drink here, especially when weather permits one to seat outside adjacent to the water and watch the world go by.

hot wings were burned and the delivery driver didn't ring me like I asked

We went as a party of ladies to celebrate my birthday. There was something on the menu for all our tastes, the waiters were friendly and service was good. When the food came it was delicious, we all had a good experience and would return.

First time to order from this place. little bit disappointed in the garlic bread its had the bread and cheese but its did not have any taste of garlic 😔 not even bit. the rest was OK
