Lovely atmosphere, friendly service. I don’t think people think to go here but I would absolutely recommend. The food was delicious. Our party had the meat feast pizza and the chicken in a mushroom sauce which I can’t remember the name of. Nutella pancakes and ice cream were also delicious. The waitress was fantastic, I wish I’d got her name. Thank you for a lovely meal and fantastic service.

One of the absolutely best kebabs in Scotland. Long open, fast and with really LARGE portions. Much advised for any hungry travellers in Lockerbie.

The 1st place I always try to eat at in Dumfries. Great food and really friendly staff. Just a hit or miss if you can get parked out side

I had read good reviews online about this restaurant and it did not disappoint. I had the soup of the day (butternut and sweet potato) to start (delicious), baked hand made pasta tubes with the most delicious filling, topped with a creamy tomato sauce and for dessert a coconut panacotta with chocolate soil served with gooseberries and smooth vanilla ice cream! My husband had the baked handmade pizza dough, filled with cheese and topped with a tomato sauce followed by a venison and beef ragu with tagliatelle. He had coffee then envied my dessert but was too full to order one! This was the best restaurant meal we had on our break. The staff were lovely including Morag who owns the restaurant with Andre, her husband and chef.

We were very disappointed last night. Been here lots over the years but last night the food was mediocre at best. The calamari looked good and was ok but it was quite rubbery. The chicken was dry and over cooked with a risotto that was just a pile of very salty plain mush. Couldn't comment on the flavour due to the salt. But no bite at all to the rice. We come here at least every year as we met here years ago and the food is normally exceptional. Maybe they have changed chef recently? Not sure we'll carry on this tradition now😞

A really good authentic family Italian restaurant - we absolutely loved it! This restaurant had wonderful food, we had the clam spaghetti and calamari which was excellent and then all had a pizza, amazing! We also enjoyed a delicious bottle of chianti. Good atmosphere with local people and tourists to the area and the staff were very professional and friendly, excellent service! If we were ever back in Dumfries we’d definitely go back.

The sign on the door says "The Best Italian in South Scotland ' They aren't lying. We all had a mid week special. Amazing value at £15. Delicious garlic bread to share. A wide choice of excellent pizza and pasta and a drink each. Very friendly and attentive service. Great night out.

authentic Italian restaurant with lots of charm & traditional vibes. The early bird 2 course menu is excellent value for money at £13.50 pp with all the classic dishes on. We opted for the regular menu, i had the calamari fritters & sea bass with mushroom ravioli ( was lobster on menu but they had run out). The fish was cooked to perfection & the ravioli was amazing in the red pepper sauce. My partner had panzenolle ( probably spelt that wrong but it was pieces of pizza dough with a garlic mayo dip ) & steak diane. He said the steak was one of the best he had, very tender. The restaurant was full, which apparently it is mostly, good atmosphere & lots of attentive staff. very good👍
