Best Pizza & Kebab House in Dumfries & Galloway

We eat at The Pheasant quite often, despite it being a 30 mins drive from home. Great homemade Italian food using local produce. Indulgent puddings. Pity it’s closed between November and March

I have had some good Italian food but the balsamic and small details in the food are great. The wine menu is okay but this is a little town and would it be worth it. Dessert was good too, personal choice would be sharper lemons on the cheesecake, but that is just me! Well done! Great food and you know your market.

Spent hogmanay in here and had a lovely meal and night. There's lots of wee nooks and crannies to this restaurant and we were seated in the back area beside the log fire which was fantastic. Two portions of mussels to start with and then my husband had a salami and olive pizza and I had smoked salmon penne. Food was delicious and service excellent, this is our second time in this restaurant when we are on holiday in moffat, if we stayed local I can safely say I would be in here all the time

Absolutely lovely. Can never fault you guys. The quality of food is amazing and always really tasty. The service is top notch. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Thank you. X
