Great food, excellent service, and lively atmosphere. A great place for a family meal. The portions are huge so bring your appetite!

I went with a party of 12 at lunch time. The staff were lovely and food came quickly. Garlic bread between us. This was nice. Then starters. I had the pate. It was ok. Then for mains I had the risotto. It’s was extremely salty and I couldn’t eat it. The price was ok. We used the lunchtime menu. And it was set prices. £20 per person for 2 courses. I wouldn’t rush back though

We visited La Lupa tonight as a family of three for some pizza, and we absolutely loved it! From start to finish, the service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The pizzas were delicious, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and cooked to perfection. What really made the experience extra special were the thoughtful little touches—high-quality branded mixers with our drinks and a complimentary amaretto shot at the end of the meal, which was a lovely surprise. It’s clear that La Lupa goes the extra mile to create a warm and authentic Italian dining experience. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Very polite girl took the booking on the 'phone. When we arrived we were shown to a table for four in the 'VIP' zone. We ordered drinks then the lunches. All arrived at the same time delicious and hot served by an attentive waiter. Two of us had a glass of wine and a carafe of water was served too. The portions were large and satisfying. We had coffees and complimentary sweets. We were there for 2 hours. Would recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly

Well, managed to get an early table for a family tea. Service was splendid - even when my loud son was shouting for assistance/ apologies he is autistic and is über friendly and loud. The meal was fantastic and served speedily, extremely tasty starters, main...

I have been there today (Monday) ~45 mins after opening time but no one was there. Just wasted my time. Can't comment the food for obvious reasons.

First time visiting and we were very impressed. We managed to get a last minute table on a Saturday evening (highly recommend booking). The food is incredible and portions are great sizes. The service was possibly the best service we have ever received in any restaurant. Everything about this place is great, they really have attention to detail. I would say this place is a must when visiting Windermere!! Thanks for a lovely evening.

We had a lovely celebratory dinner here last Saturday. One of our party (who ordered Monkfish Tail) said it was too salty...either the sauce or the fish has been salted. The waitress simply sounded surprised, but no attempt to rectify the situation, despite half the meal was inedible. The others in our party enjoyed their meals. Very surprised at the lack of customer service this time. We have been to the same La Cantina for several years now, so a little shocked and surprised at the reaction of the waitress. She obviously didn't report it to the Manager or the Kitchen, so could have avoided a negative review.

Went in about 2pm on a Thursday so it was quiet. Only a small place but had a wonderful, welcoming staff, quick service and the pizza was served fast, got and was delicious.

Thanks guys for brilliant food and great service whist we’ve been back home for a few months. One of our favourite restaurant in Southport and the food is so good. Been coming here since it opened and we have never had a bad meal. All the staff are so pleasant and very attentive. Look forward to returning November for a few months again. We’ve missed la Tabella a lot especially Friday nights . Thanks guys

The food is super and hot, the price is right AND customers are treated with courtesy-none of this "hello ,mate/guy",(dreadful slang!) "Good afternoon, Madam-what can I get you?" a very comfortable experience and I shall continue to patronise and recommend this establishment.
