While on holiday in Hull, I found this little gem of a place. We ordered pizza and the garlic potatoes, waw! Amazing tasty food. The young lady behind the bar, I'm sure she was the owner and the chef her partner. She was so polite and helpful and even called a taxi for us when we were ready to leave. I give this awsome little gem of a find a 10/10. Thankyou to the owner for a lovely welcoming experience at you beautiful place. 🙂🙂

Service excellent ,staff helpful and polite. Wait between starters and main way too long. The Caesar salad with chicken was poor and I wouldn't recommend it.The prawn linguine was highly recommended by one of our party. Prices as expected and tables, plates authentic. The acoustics of the wooden floors made it difficult to have a conversation. But overall a pleasant atmosphere maybe a return visit if things improve.

If you haven’t tried this place yet, then do! 😋 We ordered the family deal and doubled up so I had pack up the next day. It’s the best pizza I’ve ever had from a takeaway, these guys have got it right. Pasta was tasty and pizza fries are something else! 🤤 As we are out of area I collected without any issues, food was waiting and piping hot. Support this local business at this crazy time, you won’t be disappointed! 🥰

Had passed by a few times and it looked really delicious The large pizza oven with open fire must make some super good pizza I ordered a pepeoni pizza I waited 20 min I got a delicious pizza with leopard spots. Cut into 6 pieces. Super delicious and crispy Good and delicious perperoni Delicious tomato and cheese This is Hull's best pizza place I am a fan and will come again

‘So happy to discover this spot, which should become your new regular for Pizza night no doubt.’ WAS my review of piccolo - but after trying out dining in at the restaurant on a Saturday evening, me and my partner are not as impressed. I’ll leave the 5 stars, but note the below detractions: -Stressed manager (waiting staff all lovely, but manager seemed super stressed and forgot his manners at times). - Bad table plan: to increase capacity, all corners are crammed with group tables, leaving couples tables at the mercy of all the walkways. We were crammed into one of the main walkways of the restaurant which made us super uncomfortable. - food: passable, but generally under seasoned/lacked aroma, overcooked pasta/rice, mediocre bread, and in the case of the lasagne and crab risotto, a lack of quality meat. I think we came at a bad time, and therefore I wouldn’t discourage you try out piccolos if you are in the area, but I wouldn’t make a journey to try it, and if you do - go for pizza, focaccia, and other baked foods. See the rest of my previous review: ‘The Piccante Pizza was excellent, soft and chewy dough with a crisp exterior, and great topping choice - I’d be super interested in an Italian sausage meat version next time however. The Arancini came with a great sauce and I really like pairing them with the pizza, however - on this occasion the rice was too wet and under-seasoned/flavoured. A small miss on an otherwise delicious meal. I’m excited to try the deserts when I get chance to dine in, they looked great when I came in to collect, and I can tell the staff create a great atmosphere in the restaurant. Thanks for the meal!’

The food is really good but my god the delivery is SLOW and hour and half for delivery on a Tuesday night is crazy.

Under new owners.. Italian food..Food highly priced.. had the sea bass for£21 pound. Small portion of fish(the tail end and so small and thin) didn't even resemble bass . Spoonful of mixed salad. And a ball of mozzarella on my plate. 3items in total. Side portion of chips for£4. Dearest fish and chips ever and was still hungry.. If you get pasta dish you will get plenty.

Not open at all. Had a booking but when we arrived whole place was closed up. Apparently its been closed for a few weeks.

La comida italiana más deliciosa y auténtica. Tan triste que está cerrado. Espero que se abra pronto. Grandes recuerdos durante unos 7 años con mi esposa e hijo. Este restaurante será muy extrañado, pero permanecerá en mis recuerdos para siempre.

Booked for my wife's 40th Birthday meal for a group of 10 people as it has been our fav restaurant for a number of years. We turned up and the restaurant was closed. Fuming is an understatement. Luckily the restaurant (Aegean) across the road cut fit us in and saved the night with a nice meal. Massively disappointing that what was a very good restaurant is now being run like this and has put a stain on the night.

Visited with 3 friends to exchange our secret Santa gifts. We was shown to our table straight away & our drinks orders taken as we knew what we wanted. We was given ample time to make our choice for food. We didn’t have a long wait for food & it was well presented. The garlic bread was just the best. One of my friends had a little accident & knocked a plate of the table & this was cleared up quickly with no fuss & even offered replacement food, the manager came over to have a chat & a laugh with us. We all loved the food & the waitress Jasmine was such a joy. 100% will be going back

Name gives the feel of a Desserts space but its lunch / meal menu are outstanding! I have been coming here for years and I have NEVER had a bad experience, attending at least once a week. Friends and family have joined us and have all become regular customers. From paninis, wraps, drinks and desserts - everything on the menu is good. Customer Service is excellent, and the place itself is friendly, open, clean and tidy!

Fantastic hidden gem, authentic Italians and unbelievable tasting food. Definitely recommend.
