Under new owners.. Italian food..Food highly priced.. had the sea bass for£21 pound. Small portion of fish(the tail end and so small and thin) didn't even resemble bass . Spoonful of mixed salad. And a ball of mozzarella on my plate. 3items in total. Side portion of chips for£4. Dearest fish and chips ever and was still hungry.. If you get pasta dish you will get plenty.

First time visiting last night and what a treat it was! I can’t believe I’ve walked past here numerous times and never noticed! Perfect location for a pre-show meal which is exactly what we did! Super friendly and attentive staff. I can’t wait for my next visit. I’ve recommended to family and friends already!

Unprofessional service - ordered gyros, didn’t want us to sit down because “it’s a street food”, asked again otherwise they knew we would leave, we went to a table, told us to move as reserved (but nearly 2 hours later) told us to take seat in corner, so bags on the floor. Gave excuse that the gyros would look messy on the plate…which it didn’t. Overall didn’t feel welcomed because of what I ordered. Not to be biased but the chicken lacked flavour, asked for chip spice but gave me paprika which was weird as they could’ve just said we have no chip spice left.

Turned up at 8.20 pm to look at menu (fri 3/3/ 2023 looking at the menu they ran to the door and put a closed notice up at 8.25 will never go there again obviously don’t need the money

Booked a table for 6pm. Service was lovely and fast. Food was beautiful and tasty good portions couldn't eat all my pizza. BTW blue Bay is now green 💙

Took a while for food to arrive, but it was pretty busy. Fairly average food, for what was paid.

Fabulous food. Highly Recommed. We where a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meal, each one of us had something different. Great choice of wine too. Fabulous service, we felt so welcomed. Thank you. See you again.

Had a lovely meal here had mixed grill sharer and added a portion of the prawns from the starters with it which were so flavourful the owner explained the sauce so we could re create at home all of our food was piping hot an tasty hubby managed to fit in a portion of baklava while I opted for a glass of baileys will definitely return when in the area a lovely gem of a place

We went here after being before when it was under previous owners and was a bit hesitant but we was soon won over by the new owners when we went on the way to see Jersey Boys as a surprise for my mrs, we got the mixed grill out was amazing, and plenty to suppress even my appetite amazing food, amazing staff and at good prices.

If im being honest, I loved the food and the workers/waiters were very kind! They always made sure the customer was happy and satisfied. I also enjoyed the atmosphere and the setting as well. 10/10 would go here again :)

104 pounds...ive eaten from kebab take aways which have been more tasty than this place...ridiculously expensive for well below average dry food. We are gutted that we spent so much...when there are much better restaurants...i wanted to walk out when they brought the food.. feel like ive been robbed!

Following the gushing reviews, I followed the lure of my favourite food into the Blue Bay... No idea, what merited them. Authentic? Absolutely not! Dexterously executed, but that should be a given, if one considers prices... Yes... Well, I'm thoroughly disappointed and still somewhat hungry. On my way to seek out taramasalata and gyros 🙄 Maybe the place has changed hands lately?

We've haven't visited in a while, food was good but the place lacked atmosphere unlike before, there's definitely something missing.

By far the best Greek food I have tried in uk and trust me I’ve tried a lot 😅. Me and my partner we travelled from Manchester in order to try it and it didn’t let us down. The quality and the taste of the food brought us memories from back home. And when the food you tried in a restaurant reminds you your home then you know it’s good. And last but not least the staff always welcoming and friendly, they definitely know from good food and filokseneia. Can’t wait to visit again.

We, a family of four, just spent am amazing night with Strathos being entertained and presented with the most delicious meze. The vegetable moussaka was to die for. A great atmosphere and greeted with a friendly, warm and kind welcome 10/10 xxxx

I would like to thank the team at Artemis for the amazing Greek buffet they put together for my daughters 40th celebration at her home. We just wanted something different from the usual party food, and although I wasn’t sure what to have or how it would work, the owner/manager came up with some wonderful ideas to make it easy for guests to help themselves. All the food arrived at exactly the time we arranged, piping hot, in very strong foil trays, the smell was mouthwatering. We had a variety of meat skewers, feta cheese parcels, Greek sausage, dolmades, special burgers (can’t remember the name), fries, pitta breads and humas and tzatziki dips. I made up our salads as we agreed, salad doesn’t always travel well, but such an easy thing to put together. The hard work was obviously put into the Greek food from Artemis. Everything was so authentic, fresh and tasty. The guests were amazed and kept going back for more. We even put some Greek music on, which gave us that total Greek holiday atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone, wanting something unique and special. Well done Team Artemis 😎

The restaurant may be nice, I couldn't comment but I just ordered through Just Eat and it wasn't the best experience. Paid £20 for a burger and 2 portions of chips. The burger wasn't as advertised "sat on a bed of feta cheese" - no feta at all, "topped with a halloumi burger" - no halloumi at all, "with caramelised onions - just some raw red onion... Really disappointed actually as I love Greek food.

The food was the best tasting take away I've ever had. I had the hallumi and grilled veg skewers and it was amazing. Would defo recommend x

Really want to thank the team for amazing food and service. Food was delivered on time and smoking hot with excellent service. One Item was missing and Stratos was apologetic and insisted on providing a refund or immediate replacement. Item arrived with compliments of the chef and free beers. Really touched with the excellent service, will use and recommend again. Thanks.

Went for the chicken gyros thinking it would be chicken breast meat and was really disappointed that there was a lot of fat in it so it must have been made from leg meat. Pitta bread and everything else was fine but just a shame it was spoilt by the poor quality chicken. Thanks for your response but it was definitely greek taverna as it was a takeaway and I paid by card which i have just checked on my bank statement and it confirms it was greek taverna.

Absolutely wonderful place . Very friendly staff , very curtious , and attentive . We tried about 9 of the meze dishes and sides , breads . Every dish was amazing. Safe to say I'll be going back

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. As soon as you walk in, you feel as if you are in a Taverna in Greece. Very warm welcome on arrival from the owner. Food was fabulous at a very reasonable price. Would definatly return and recommend. Yamas 😁😁

Just been for lunch at this restaurant. Really enjoyed it. Great friendly atmosphere. Lovely people running this place. Food great and reasonably priced. We booked for lunch but maybe could have got a table without. A different story in the evening tho as I believe it gets very busy. We will be going again soon I hope.

What a gem of a place. Hill has been needing a great authentic Greek restaurant and now we have one. The tastes and atmosphere takes you back to your own Greek experiences. Can't wait to return, for just a family get together or a special occasion. AMAZING

We went on Saturday the 1st of February a warm welcome food was excellent. The co-owner kept coming across and asking as if everything was ok as well as having a chat.

Simply wonderful. The most authentic Greek food I've eaten in the UK. The tzatziki is so good! Yannis is more than happy to take time explaining the menu to anyone who isn't familiar with the dishes and if there is something you really fancy he'll put put it on as a special if you mention it in advance when you're booking the table.

Fantastic Greek restaruant with a great atmosphere Yannis is brilliant as are all the staff really good friendly service and the food is Greek cuisine at it's best. We arrived early and they had to do a bit of table shuffling but nothing too much trouble to get all ten of us seated and we had one of the best nights ever it was our first visit but no way will it be the last would highly recommend you give it a try as long as you leave some room for us

Stumbled across this lovely little restaurant on 28th December after Pantomime. My family of 6 decided to try it out. Food was so nice, ambience perfect, price very reasonable, and front of house chap was very friendly, made us feel at home, nothing was too much trouble. We will be back without a doubt. Thank you. Very friendly and inviting Greek Taverna. On arrival greeted by the owner and shown to our table small restraunt clean and comfortable. Special board in clear view . Plenty on the menu for vegiterians or meat eaters. Food was excellent and value for money will be visiting again and would highly recommend

Simply AMAZING. A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience courtesy of Yiannis, Mata and their team. The food I had was delicious - even better than much I have eaten in Greece. The welcome and attention from Yiannis was very warm and genuine and typically Greek. Even though it was busy he and his front of house staff had time for everybody. If like me you love Greece, its history, its people and its food then a visit to Artemis is a must. This is easily my new favourite restaurant in Hull and I will definitely be back. Καλή όρεξη

Visited Artemis last week for my wife's birthday and even sat at the table pictured (lol). Have to say the welcome was spot on. Owner took time to come sit with us and explain the menu. My wife had pork and leek casserole on recommendation of the owner and says it was a triumph. My daughter and I are both vegetarian but had plenty of choice and thoroughly enjoyed the authenticity of the dishes that we chose. In short, top quality food, good atmosphere and reasonable prices, what more could you ask for?

WOW!! If you haven’t visited this little gem your definitely missing out!! Everything about the Artemis Greek Taverna is just fantastic! From walking through the door welcomed by a big greek smile! Front of house is spot on honestly could not do enough for us! Food... well i love good food && this is GOOD FOOD Honestly the best Greek food I have ever tasted!! I ordered from the specials bored and can’t remember what My dish was called but it tasted so amazing! And obviously tried all of my family's food to and there’s was so good! So will definitely be visiting again to make my way down the menu!!!! (I happened to mention to the manager about a friend who adores Greece and especially the Greek food and he said if it’s not on the menu he can cook as a special for them.... so as for service OUTSTANDING!!) lots of laughter and lots of great food We will be returning very soon!!! Thought it would be great Greek food mine was a tasteless bit of stew in a paper bag supposed to be kleftiko at £15 .90 I at least expected a bit more meat my husband had meatballs that were ok but nothing special won't rush back

What a find, looked inviting so we called in to book a table for after the theatre, having no idea it was Artemis' opening night. The food was delicious and authentic, it had a fabulous atmosphere, friendly and relaxed and the service was great. We will definitely be returning as had such a lovely evening.
