Perfectly pleasant but unremarkable Italian food, but the place does not set out to be fancy. It is good value, really nice waitresses, good value (I'm from the south east, so all Yorkshire prices seemed cheap to me) and it has a really pleasant atmosphere. Good sized portions, too. So long as you're not expecting exquisite Italian food, and you're content with more solid, everyday food, you'll be happy.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for years but never got round to it! It’s recently changed it’s name to Bacaro 22 also. We decided to go for a meal for our 3 year anniversary and we were made to feel SO welcome! The lovely lady that served our table was very chatty and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. I happened to mention it was our anniversary and when I came back from the toilet the waitress delivered me a Nutella brownie on the house. The food was lovely and we will definitely be returning with family and friends when we can!

Lovely place & cocktails. Food average. Salad not very exciting, a lot of yellow Iceberg lettuce . My husband had items missing from his meal that should have been included, as per the menu specification. Will try again, though. Staff were attentive.

On the last 2 visits we have been disappointed at the attitude of one of their staff. Looking at the clock when we walk in. Felt we were an inconvenience at 4:40pm! Asked at 5pm " if you can start making your way to leave as we are now closed. We close at 5pm.You can take your drinks with you though". Which we did & sat at the clock seats to finish them. Soo disappointed at the customer service. Such a shame. Never have felt unwelcome before.

We have always paid more money for this takeaway as it was our treat. I have never had a bad order up until tonight, it’s was awful. The base of the pizza was like a mattress with cheese spewed over it and over the edges. The burger was like it had been punched and the chips were like they’d been flash fried. Honestly awful for a frequent customer spending over £30 at a time with £3 delivery. Do better !

A couple of years ago I suggested that the Caffè Nero branch in Saturday Market was a tad dowdy and in need of a refurb. Nothing has changed and from aesthetic and comfort perspectives it is a below average branch of the chain. The service was quick and good however and our coffees up to the usual high standard.

Hands down, the best burger in Hessle, no contest. Everything about it is spot on. Handmade patties, cooked Italian style on a flat iron griddle until they’re just right, juicy, smoky, and full of flavour. The brioche bun is fresh and grilled to perfection, holding everything together without falling apart. It’s a proper burger, not your usual mass produced nonsense. Craft Burger! What sets it apart is the level of care and creativity. You get all the toppings you can think of—things like Parma ham, crispy bacon, sharp cheddar and all the extras done right. Burger sauce, pickles, peppers, onions, just ask and they’ll take care of you. It’s a proper bistro style burger from a takeaway that actually knows what they’re doing. Chef Hassan clearly takes pride in his craft, and it shows. It’s a real treat having something like this in town. I was at Prezzo the other night and they couldn’t even tell me if the burger was made fresh or trucked in from somewhere else. That says it all, really. This place doesn’t just serve food, they do food. Massive respect to Chef Hassan and the team. Burgers like this deserve recognition from the gastronomy census, no joke. If you haven’t tried it yet, get on it. All for 7.50£
