Roberto Authentic Italian Gelato in East Riding of Yorkshire

On the last 2 visits we have been disappointed at the attitude of one of their staff. Looking at the clock when we walk in. Felt we were an inconvenience at 4:40pm! Asked at 5pm " if you can start making your way to leave as we are now closed. We close at 5pm.You can take your drinks with you though". Which we did & sat at the clock seats to finish them. Soo disappointed at the customer service. Such a shame. Never have felt unwelcome before.

Really nice cafe, with delicious fresh cakes & pastries. I have to write another 47 characters apparently, but that's it.

Had a raspberry and vanilla sponge cake with a cappuccino. The cake was llight and moist with butter cream. The service and was quick.

This little Italian cafe is such a asset to Driffield, the coffee comes with a mini gelato in a cone that just feels like a special treat even when your just having a coffee, the cakes are delicious and the atmosphere usually bustling which I like

Lovely little gelato shop and it is very nice gelato and coffee only downside is it can get very busy in there as there isn’t enough tables for the demand of people

With all the good intention of having one of their excellent coffees, it was too warm! So gelato won out. I opted for the cherry for scoop oneee, and fig and ricotta for the second. Just yummy for both....as always. Smooth and creamy, this was a welcome treat on a hot summr's day. Always nice to come here, with great staff and good food choices.

Great location in centre of town offering light lunches, real Italian gelato and very tasty cakes. We had brunch during the regular Driffield market day and will be back.

This was just so good, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff. Knew their stuff, explaining what things were kindly. Coffee was the best I've had out in ages and served with a miniature Gelato which was a brilliant touch. Lunch was delicious, well cooked, well presented and tasty.

Our first visit to Driffield and we found this lovely dog friendly cafe. The staff were very welcoming and engaging. We had coffee/tea and 2 cakes which were very tasty. The best surprise though was the mini gelato that comes with each drink, it was delicious. Will definitely return and can highly recommend especially if you have a dog.

Very disappointing, staff abrupt, non engaging, place dirty and run down. I've cream excellent, everything else poor.

Coffee is ok , staff don’t interact , just dropped it at the table , even when we said “ thank you “ no response from the staff Used to be much better

I was surprised to see that dogs are allowed in here. One of the servers constantly fussed it every time she walked past and then patted her apron and encouraged it to put its paws on her apron. Absolutely disgusting, will not be going again!

Hot chocolate had to be sent back. Cold. Asked for well done bacon. it was not well done. Reply that’s how it’s cooked. Always had well done. Not strawberries. Why can someone go and get some. 5 staff on. Shame.

Lovely place, nice cuppa and a free ice cream sample, very, very nice. The staff are very friendly and the air conditioning was very welcome

Perfect Gelato and Coffee. Really nice place and very well looked after. Plenty of flavours to choose from. My single Espresso came with a tiny cone topped with the tastiest Vanilla ice-cream I have ever tasted 😊

Lovely cafe with great selection of gelato. Strawberries and cream was delicious! Cappuccino was well made! Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff members. Definitely will be back!!

Visited today and ordered decaf tea for two. Not sure what tea bags they were but no matter how long they were in the pot they just didn't get any stronger. Need something like decaf Yorkshire tea for a decent cuppa. Not sure what the idea is for a small ice cream, rather have a cheaper drink given a choice.

We arrived in driffeld and decided to go to robertos and was warmly welcomed and I had the Pizza and it was excellent and certainly would return to Robertos

We come here regularly to enjoy catching up with friends. The coffee is amazing, especially with the mini ice cream cones, but we have enjoyed bacon sandwiches ( bread is amazing), waffles, pancakes and cannot! Well worth visiting! Suitable for everyone, young or old!
