The best restaurants serving Italian food in undefined Bournemouth South West

Went here for dinner for a birthday celebration. Food, cocktails and service were all excellent. Warm welcome - nothing was too much trouble! I’ve been a part-time resident of Bournemouth for the last 20 years and had never been here before but I’ll certainly be back!

Amazing pizza! The best dough since my visit to Tuscany in 2018. Lovely staff and a tasty Sauvignon wine. Highly recommend.

We tried this restaurant after walking past a couple of times recently, and we are so glad we did! We were seated whilst the restaurant was fairly quiet, and were pleased to find homemade pastas that were a little different to most average Italian restaurants, we had spaghetti with clams, perfect pasta with huge clams, seasoned beautifully, and truffle tagliatelle served at the table in a Parmesan wheel, which was quite possibly the nicest thing I have eaten in a long time! Perfect portion sizes and small but very decent wine list. We also tried the homemade tiramisu which was fantastic too! Service was friendly even though the young lady serving us was on her own with 20+ customers! We will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends! Thanks for a lovely evening!

We really enjoyed our visit to Gio’s. The food was amazing- the portions were generous. The service was great and super friendly. I would definitely go again and will be taking friends and family there.

First class service and first class food. Starters, main course and wine were exceptionally good. And excellent value for money. I wish we lived closer to Bournemouth. Would visit often

Tuve que dar mi experiencia allí tres estrellas, ya que esperamos mucho tiempo hasta que nos sirvieron. El personal se disculpó por nosotros. Había una camarera y un hombre ayudándola, pero necesitaban más personal para atender a la multitud. Definitivamente volveremos con la esperanza de que haya suficiente personal la próxima vez. Su comida hizo la diferencia.

Pasé por este lugar hace un año y ahora es mi decisión - para 'comer fuera'! Sobre todo las pizzas son fabulosas. Cocinado en horno de leña, la selección es enorme! La bienvenida es cálida y genuina. Nada es demasiado problema y se hace todo lo posible para darte lo que quieres... ¡de buena gana, y con una sonrisa en su cara! La producción de buena comida "preparada en casa" es la prioridad del chef - propietario. Pero eso también se une a ofrecer la mejor experiencia de calidad para sus clientes, en una informalidad amigable. El antipasto es increíble y casi una comida en sí misma. No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficientemente alto. Te alegrarás de haberlo hecho y como yo te convertirás en un habitual.

No sé si realmente llega a la cima, pero debe estar muy cerca. Slimey, insípido, increíblemente asqueroso incluso para los estándares ingleses.

The front of house staff were polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the organisation of the restaurant left a lot to be desired. Their website made a big deal about the 3 pizza bases. Regrettably, only one was available, (Gluten free, with a surcharge of £2.50). They were going to charge us the extra £2.50, until I pointed out that we were given no choice! Items on the menu were missing, or there was hardly any of them, when the food was served! Cold plates, tepid Peroni beer etc. The food was edible, but very disappointing.

Came for live jazz, was wonderful, great service on the bar, good atmosphere and great music - will definitely return💃🏼🔥❤️

Good food, good atmosphere, and fabulous staff. What a find ! We cannot fault this lovely restaurant the food really is exceptional, I doubt that you would get better in Italy ! Our waiter and waitress were smiley friendly and nothing was too much trouble . We loved it so much we went back the next day to eat here . We highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed. Buen servicio, pero la pizza margarita, aunque se veía bien, era soso e insípido. Ninguna cantidad de sal, pimienta y aceite de chile parecía ser capaz de animarlo. El vino Sangiovese era excelente y a un precio razonable. Lo que más disfruté fue la vista del Royal Bath Hotel sobre la carretera silueta por el cielo de la tarde
